Where to stay in Da Nang

This "WAS" my hidden gem. Now it's gone horribly wrong. The excellent classy two front desk ladies no longer work there + the amazing cleaning lady (she left at Lunar New years) Smoking + smoking drugs in this building... I found ashes on toilet paper in my washroom. Could have made a fire. The smoke travels into my room. Had to put tape and towels to stop it. = So now my windows are open. = mosquitoes...

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alyssa in Da Nang! The rooms were clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a beautiful view of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location was perfect—close to the beach and major attractions. We have stayed here twice and will be staying for the third time shortly. Love the staff love the size of rooms. Breakfast has been some of the best hotel breakfast in Vietnam. One time we even left our makeup and brushes out in a rush and the cleaner put them so nicely back in their correct places. Gym has a great view too. Great location to get around Da Nang! Rooms are great, new furniture and washroom is good. Pool is great. I stayed on the 8th floor which was cozy. View was good. A bit far from the sea but you can see the waves. Fully carpeted room. Breakfast is one and only but very big disappointment. They bring you the food from the street which is not good for a 4 star Hotel.

The staff were helpful and Ocean view suite was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, if you start with low expectations. The pool looks nothing like the photos. There are no umbrellas, no sun beds, just a broken wooden chair and badly rusted metal chair - a shame really as the pool area could be nice, IF it was maintained properly.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however the window wasn't properly sealed meaning you could hear some of the noise from the busy road. A big disappointment, however, at breakfast: the dining hall was filthy (nobody bothered to sweep the floor or clean the windows) and the little kitchen behind the buffet looked grubby. Me and my family booked 2 separate rooms in the same floor, however they moved one or the rooms to the third floor while the second one was in seventh. This is a good, affordable hotel. My only suggestion is that the room cleaning times are inconsistent, which can be a bit inconvenient. Sometimes they come quite early in the morning, which can be a bit startling. Other than that, I have no complaints.

We had an amazing stay in Happy Day Riverside Hotel. We've got a beautiful view of the Han River as well as the Dragon Bridge. There are a lot of restaurants around. You can jog in the morning by the boulevard. Beach is just kilometers away. It is near by most of the tourist attractions. I love our stay here.

Location is okay, not a far walk from the beach. The staff is friendly. However, I would suggest to request NOT to be on the 3rd floor as it was quite noisy with the spa & gym on the same floor. The rooms also do not match the photos, it would be nice for the hotel not to use AI-generated or heavily edited photos. They are made to look new in pictures, but not the case in reality.
