Perandor Beach in Durres

We stayed at this hotel as a couple from June 8th to 15th, having booked over nine months in advance. We arrived exhausted after a three-hour flight plus an hour and a half from the airport. Upon arrival, we were told the hotel was full and there were no rooms available. We expressed our dissatisfaction, but to no avail. We were put in a family room 200 meters from the hotel, but it wasn't what we had wanted. We simply wanted a room so we could walk down to the pool in the morning without worrying about the road. We took it anyway because otherwise, there was no other option. I feel sorry for the elderly people who have to stay there, or families with strollers, etc. The food is good but very repetitive and boring. There's not much variety. The hotel lacks yogurt, ice cream, and very little fruit like bananas, kiwis, and oranges. The fruit juices are also lacking. It's like Tangs, so orange, carrot, cherry, and strawberry, I think… otherwise, the entertainment is top-notch, a big plus. Damsay, Wahiba, and Rudy are very good entertainers, with great games that really get the party going. You also have direct access to the beach, which is super pretty. The hotel lends you towels at reception. By the pool, there are two pools, a large one and a smaller one for children… a very nice pool. Our opinion is rather mixed; I think this hotel should improve in some areas… Tip: put your phone in airplane mode as soon as you leave the airport, otherwise you'll get a hefty bill, or download WhatsApp to make calls because it's very expensive… the Wi-Fi works everywhere in the hotel…
