Maritim Marina Bay Resort & Casino

Really poor food quality, the view is nice but doesn't make up for the food in my opinion. Asked for a vegetarian burger rather than saying they can do it, served a bun with salad and 1 slices of plastic/kraft cheese. Sent back untouched, no offer of alternative item.

DISAPPOINTED! BIG NO from me!

This place does not deserve the hype and reputation it’s building.

We went as day visitors paying 15,000 lek (£12) per person, only to be told constantly what we couldn’t do, rather than what we could.

- The children’s pool is unfinished. It’s simply been plastered and opened to the public. My child being 2 received numerous scratches due to the unfinished nature of the pool. The steps and the seating area the same. Unfinished yet families are forced to use as other facilities are off bounds.

In regards to the main pool, we were not allowed in as it was 18+. Whilst I’m okay with splitting facilities, this was clearly a premature action as the children are forced to swim in Gray Sandy plaster rather than a pool with tiles as it should be. The corners of the pool were extremely rough and again, not child friendly.

- the beach is far from a beach. It’s a complete hazard to get to and there has been no attempt on the resorts side to try and make it accommodating to families/ new swimmers. The resort permits /works with some tour companies whom constantly mown boats near where swimmers are, troubling the water.

-in regards to the beach seating area we were told it was divined to accommodate those staying at the hotel, meaning on numerous accounts we were made to feel extremely unwelcome and somewhat of a nuisance. We were moved from seat to seat. You could imagine the discomfort of picking up your stuff with two young children and being moved as hotel guests had priority.

- the bars, whilst adequate would again limit where you could sit and what you could do there. Again with a small family we were forced to move from seat to seat. The female toilets in the bar area are a total disgrace, to the extent that the toilet cubicles do not have their own individual light. 😂

This overall was a complete let down as an experience. The resort appears to have been rushed to open yet the prices were as if the place had already completed its soft opening (where the above issues are resolved/dealt with).

Do not go, it’s a big NO for families as your child is not safe at the poor nor at the beach, but even as couples, there are better resorts without the high price tag.

Hahahah 5 stars hotel, and the stuff don’t speak English. But the most important when you want to go to the restaurant there is no “English Menu “
Ok let’s skip also this but the service there is not for 5 stars, what you think you come and show to me fish and you think you think you know a lot about gastronomy. Pfff really ridiculously evening.

We reserved as a group for the bar Lime and after coming they said our name wasn’t written at all but then after pressing on the matter more they said that it was their mistake meaning they just forgot to add our name and now we couldn’t get in because they had welcomed in people that hadn’t even reserved there. All that for literally nothing. Extremely disappointed never coming back here.
