The small and cosy hotel is located in the centre of Encamp, close to the largest ski area of the Pyrenees, Grandvalira.
Location: near river, in the centre of Encamp, 160 km from the international airport, 4 km from Les Escaldes shopping centre and the resort of Andorra La Vella, 800 m from the ski lifts. 50 m from the hotel - sports club. Shuttle to the ski lifts stops a 5 min walk from the hotel.
Consists of a 7-storey building.

The hotel is a perfect place to spend a hiking holiday. It's clean and comfortable and it has a good parking space. With the car, you can get everywhere in Andorra quickly. They have a good variety in their dinner menu and the food has always been tasty. Some of the rooms have a balcony, especially the single rooms.

very well known hotel. out of Andorra capital, I recommend you if you go to skying. Renovated during 90s If Im not wrong. Family hotel with parking, only regret really basic English. I've been here over 20 times.

I have spent a full month at Hotel Univers due to being able to work remotely and I wanted to ski.
I felt like I was living in someone’s home. The family who runs the hotel was super attentive to all my wishes and really made my stay comfortable. The WiFi was strong, but uneven. The upload speed was 0.18 so made video calls impossible. I told the reception and they handled it within hours. The food was really wholesome, filling, great home made mountain food. As a tip, take the black coffee from the machine and add the milk after. Much better :)
Everyone on the staff was lovely, helpful and super kind. The free encamp bus for skiers stops 3-4 min walk from the hotel. The room was old school but perfectly functional, warm, well equipped and super clean. I loved my stay. Highly recommended :)

I’m not sure if this is the standard in Andorra for that price but this hotel could use some renovation.
It’s exceptionally clean!
Breakfasts were very dull - same few things every day. I have to complain about cold eggs and hot water that wasn’t hot enough to make tea without foam 🤮

This hotel was phenomenal. We stayed here for Christmas and had a wonderful stay. Encamp is the most central town in Andorra and within 30 minutes of everywhere else in the country when we wanted to visit the capital or other slopes. Breakfast is a huge buffet of self serve and made it so much easier to start the day without searching for food. Best hotel breakfast I've ever had and it's included with the room fare. When places were mostly closed for Christmas they were still serving dinner and the quality blew us away. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. They're multilingual and professional. It's family run so there was always a warm and inviting atmosphere. When it was all said and done, the bill was a modest price when you compare it to more expensive hotels with fewer services. Perfect little hotel for anyone wanting to explore all of Andorra.

A group of us stayed here for a week with a half board option. Our rooms were clean and it was nice to have a balcony and a fridge. The weather was very hot when we stayed and there is no air conditioning. Leaving the window open meant that we got the sound of rushing water from the nearby river all night - but we didn't find this stopped us from sleeping, There is a lift which is useful for getting luggage up to the higher floors. Meals at dinnertime were freshly cooked and mostly very good. the family were very helpful and the waiter Juan was very efficient. Breakfast was a good selection of croisssants, toast, cold meats and cheeses, cereals and cooked bacon. Great to have private parking nearby.
