Our stay at Hotel Palarine was absolutely incredible — truly a “wow” experience from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality from the owners, Graham and Maria, along with every member of staff, was exceptional. You can really feel how much care and effort goes into making guests feel welcome. Graham even kindly dropped us at Pal one morning, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The hotel is in a great location, and getting around couldn’t be easier thanks to the excellent free and low-cost bus services available to all the ski areas. The food was a real highlight. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection to suit everyone, and the themed evening meals were phenomenal — from a delicious roast dinner to Mexican night, every dish was different and tasted amazing. Happy hour (Monday to Friday, 4–6pm) was a great bonus, and the evening entertainment made it even better. There was always something going on — quizzes, live music, even a magician — we were so entertained that we didn’t even make it out to explore the local nightlife 🤣 A big shoutout to the wonderful people we met along the way — especially Steve, Janet, and “the five guys” — there was never a dull moment ❤️ Our room on the third floor had stunning front and side views of the mountains and surrounding greenery, and the sound of the river nearby was so lovely and relaxing. While there wasn’t snow in Arinsal town until the final night, the slopes had plenty, so it didn’t take away from the experience at all. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay — we can’t wait to come back! Great value for money! Thanks for an amazing stay Tarnia & Paul #311 ❤️

Always a warm welcome at the Palarine, hotel staff are always friendly and helpful and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is amazing. I can't recommend enough, my favourite hotel in all of Andorra after have stayed at multiple hotels over 8 snowboarding trips. Palarine is the place to go.

We were given room 105 First floor, a tiny double. Our biggest problem was noise, from the road but mostly inconsiderate guests Children running around, screaming at 2am, rowdy drinkers coming back all ours of early hours and people checking in/out all hours. The sound proofing is non-existent!! Our bed was super comfy, so it's a shame I never got one night's proper sleep! Room clean and cleaners super sweet. Breakfast selection poor and no proper healthy alternative. Evening meals were much better and the food was well cooked and nicely presented. However it was always super busy and you were pushed along to vacate your table quickly. We used the bar a couple times but found their prices extortionate and no service with a smile. Do read 'Sveta V' review just before ours, she had very valid points that we could relate with.

Just spent a week at the Hotel Palarine and as a regular skier, this has to be the best ski hotel I’ve stayed at. Ok, it’s a bus ride to the slopes but the staff, the bar, the food are all wonderful. Free entertainment in the bar in the evenings and a dead giveaway is that most of the guests had stayed before. I need a gluten free diet and the chef was great, even offering to prepare special meals. Thank you Graham, Maria, Stitch and all the restaurant staff - wonderful.

Great Hotel, rooms were spotless warm and comfortable comfortable, location good for buses. Bar was great, the food is excellent, the owners and staff are lovely. Would highly recommend a stay here. Skiing was great as well! Loads of snow

Amazing hotel! Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, comfy rooms and outstanding food! No wonder they have so many returning guests. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for making our trip so special.

I’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Hotel Palarine and couldn’t be more impressed. The beds were genuinely comfortable, the rooms warm and regularly cleaned, and the ski storage area made everything easy. What truly stood out, though, was the food. The breakfast selection was huge, and dinner offered an incredible amount of choice with absolutely no compromise on quality. Every meal exceeded expectations. The hotel sits on the bus route, and although the timings can be a little unpredictable, we still managed to navigate the resort without any trouble. Overall, I was blown away by the comfort, hospitality, and especially the dining. A brilliant stay that I’d happily recommend.

Stayed here for a week in January, it’s a lovey hotel, quite small but one of the most friendly I have stayed in. Comfortable beds and really lovely staff, the food is great pretty much English tastes but very nice and lots of it. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the gondola, there are buses but they are a bit of a mystery and the paid ones ONLY TAKE CASH - so be prepared. The free one has a mind of its own but it does exist!!

We stayed at the Hotel Palarine for our ski holiday to Arinsal, booked through Crystal. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hosts Graham and Maria, who welcomed us in and got everyone checked in quickly so we could settle into our room. The room was everything you need for a skiing holiday, the shower was warm and the beds extremely comfy. Plenty of storage space for all your clothes and ski gear. There was a storage room downstairs for skis and boots etc. although we didn’t need to use this as we rented a locker at the top of the Arinsal gondola. We did this through our ski rental shop, Pic Negre, located directly opposite the bottom of the gondola. The locker for 2 sets of skis and boots cost €50 for the week, plus a €10 cash deposit that was refunded upon returning the key. I would highly recommend this, was worth every penny and made getting to and from the slopes everyday an awful lot easier. Getting from the hotel to the gondola and back was easy once you get used to the buses. There is a free ski bus that runs up and down the town throughout the day, starting from approx 8:25am. The pickup location was immediately outside the hotel. Although other reviews mention the unreliability of this bus, we didn’t experience this ourselves and found it to be mostly on time and easy to use. You can also use the local L5 bus which is €1.90 a trip, although cash only on board. There is an app for the local buses, Mou-te, which is good for timings as the bus stops don’t show a timetable, just the route the buses take. You can buy bus tickets on the app, but we did this once and the driver didn’t seem to like it and wouldn’t accept it, saying cash only, so make sure you have some on you. Again, once you’ve used the bus a few times it soon becomes easy. The absolute highlight of this hotel for us was the food. Easily the best hotel food I’ve ever experienced. The roast dinner on the first night is the best roast I’ve ever eaten, every aspect was sublime. Each night was a different cuisine including Italian, Indian, Mexican and Chinese. There is also a Chinese restaurant within the bar of the hotel, Bambu Oriental. We ate in here one night and it was the best Chinese meal I’ve ever had, and one of the best meals in general I’ve ever had. It tasted incredible and if you’re staying here then you MUST try it. You will not regret it. I found the drinks to be reasonably priced, and they offered happy hour 2 for 1 drinks between 4-6pm Mon-Fri, perfect after a long day skiing. All of the staff were very welcoming and so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to all of them, they really helped make this an amazing trip. Everyone staying at the hotel was also very friendly, and it made the week so much more fun chatting with everyone and sharing our days ski stories. Overall an amazing hotel, from the staff to the food and everything in between. Also amazing value for money. We’re already planning on returning to a different ski resort in

Probably my favourite hotel stay ever! The staff are fantastic and couldn't do enough for us (and all the guests that we spoke to). They helped arrange trips out to Grandvalira and Arcalis, providing local knowledge and great tips about getting around. The dining was next level and was the talk of the hotel! Each night was themed and all were very tasty and plenty to fill us up. We had a group that included vegans, a vegetarian and one who was gluten free.. the chef created some really thoughtful and tasty dishes for us all. The bar area was like going into your local pub each night, full of friendly and happy people ready to chat about their day on the slopes. Lots of laughs and some nice entertainment. The bar staff were happy and friendly too. Lots of hugs and even tears on the final night and I imagine this vibe is the same each week. I have no doubt we'll be back.
