The reception is unmanned, walking in to an empty lobby feels unfriendly.
The rooms acoustics were very bad, with noisy aircon sound and water / flushing sounds from other units.
There was no cabinet at all to store clothes, mattress was so soft, sleeping in it for 7 days caused bad backache!
Not a very comfortable hotel to stay in.

The hotel is very close to George St so that it is very convenient to get to the centre of the city. It is close to the Central Station as well but actually you need to pass through a 600 meters tunnel to the gate. It could be a bit difficult if you are having heavy luggage. The amenities are old but with such a price, it is worth to stay here if you are not expecting too much.

Cleanliness: Maybe the hotel is old, so i dont find it very clean, do have slight musty smell
Service: This is the only advantage. The front desk staff could speak Chinese, she is really helpful when we dont know how to operate the coffee machine & also let us check in way earlier
Facilities: The bed is too soft, the bedsheet & pillowcase have small stains on them. You can also hear low frequency noise all day long (not sure it's from the A/C or lift or what).

Very nice staff when checking in. I only stayed one night, but it was perfect for that. All the necessities.

Hotel and room was clean. Room was cleaned every day. Shower gel and soap was refilled if missing. Tap water, Coffee, tea or chocolate drink were available in lobby.
Additionally hotel offers loundry service, 20$ per bag.
Hotel is close to central station, and it has many bars and other food offerings.

I had an absolutely amazing stay! The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every comfort I needed. The location was perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing.

Best place ever. Prime spot not too far from the train station and a short walk to paddies market and Chinatown

Boutique hotel at very good location. Just a short walk to Haymarket and Chinatown. Every morning from 7 to am there are some pastries and energy/muesli bar provided as well as free coffee and tea whole day at the lobby. Angee the staff help us to store our luggage before check in and after check-out .Paola another staff also help us check out the public transport route to to around Sydney. Great value for stay in Sydney city.
