This was our 8th time at the hotel and we will be returning. Hotel in a beautiful street and so central

Wonderful old hotel which has been maintained to a very high standard. Staff superb- friendly, helpful and attentive. The manager is a great ambassador for the hotel - a really nice person

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast with fizz was a touch above the norm. Our room was superb and huge, albeit the floorboards did creak a bit

Nevertheless, wifi is stable and water pressure is stronger here than in many newer hotels. The breakfast was something I looked forward to every morning. Overall, it was a comfortable stay

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Schani Salon, in the middle of Mariahilfer Straße. The hotel is just a couple minutes walk to the metro station and to all kinds of grocery stores of malls in the area

Our bed was very comfortable, and because our room faced the inner courtyard, it was surprisingly quiet at night — perfect for a good rest. Overall, a lovely stay and I would happily book here again

The room was very nice and clean. It was spacious and had a kettle and coffee maker; a refrigerator would have been perfect. The location is great, on a pedestrian street full of shops, supermarkets, cafes, etc

The staff were very friendly and responded to all requests immediately. The rooms were spacious and in a great location. The street was right outside, making shopping convenient

The hotel information should have provided instructions for the heat (which was more than sufficient). They use radiators (covered by the window curtains) and there is a tial and error period to get it just right

The room was spotless, the breakfast was brilliant and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. 5 mins from the underground, 10 mins from the main Christmas market and about 20 mins to walk into the central shopping area

Nice big room centrally located. Great service. Great Breakfast. Easy parking. Stay here a couple of years ago. plus this current trip. Would definitely rebook for any trip to Vienna.

Walking distance to almost key tourist attractions. Though the rooms are slightly dated but it didnt really bother us too much as bed is rather comfortable, amneties are sufficient. Size of room is acceptable for 2

Room 306 was a corner room and very spacias!! I have been to this hotel several times before. Housekeeping used to be better. Still is one of the top hotels on Vienna. Staff is friendly and location is great.

Directly across from the hotel is the amazing Greek Orthodox Church full of icons, and next to it a historic tavern where Mozart et al hung out. Just down the hill tram stops and the underground

The location is perfect – right in the heart of Vienna, with everything within walking distance. The only thing I’d suggest is bringing your own shampoo and body wash, as the provided 2-in-1 gel just doesn’t quite cut it

However, during check-in, our interaction unfortunately started on a negative note when the blonde lady at the reception scolded us for pronouncing our surname in our own language — even though we spelled it out to help her understand — claiming that we were saying our own surname incorrectly

There is no noise and there are many shops on the boulevard

The location is by far the best advantage of this hotel. The combination of a hotel and a pension is strange, not exactly what I expected from a four-star facility.

The hotel is in a very central location, the heating works extremely well, and daily room cleaning is much appreciated. From this perspective, it was a very pleasant accommodation experience

I loved staying here, it's a bit old school but I found it charming. Plenty of space, it's peaceful, the bed was very comfy and I have a bath and a nice view of intriguing rooftops

The hotel room/bathroom is quite large, clean, the beds are comfortable. There are plenty options to chose from for breakfast, the coffee is great. I would definitely stay here next time in Vienna.

The hotel is excellent, featuring a friendly staff, clean facilities, and a fantastic location. However, I did encounter one issue: there was a lack of sound insulation between the rooms

I found it particularly disruptive when the cleaning staff moved furniture in the neighboring rooms; the noise was quite loud and affected my ability to rest in the afternoon. I hope the management addresses this concern

I stayed here for 5 days and absolutely loved it! The design of the hotel is modern and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good with a great selection of sweet and savoury options.

Nonetheless, everything else was wonderful, and I would definitely choose to stay here again during my future visits to Vienna

The location is also fantastic: within walking distance to the city center and very close to train and metro stations. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and sincerely recommend this hotel

The place was spotless and the service was great. Probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in…. they even vacuumed under the bed… which is usually a good tell how clean a room really is

The Naschmarkt is just around the corner and is a must see for wonderful food. There’s also lots of grocery stores right around but the hotel doesn’t have a kitchen, so keep that in mind

Easy to access by metro and close enough to attractions to walk to. The room is completely renovated and comfortable for 2 people for a few nights. I really appreciated the coffee maker and the fridge in the room

Room was warmer than we like for sleeping but we were able to cool it down by turning off the radiators and opening a window. Breakfast was good with enough variety for healthy meals

The gentleman that looked after us was very friendly. We had a large room with 3 beds. Bathroom lacked shelf space but we were able to add space with a wooden chair

I was with two classes in The hotel(I am a teacher). The Hotel is very clean, the breakfast is good. The building is a bit hold but you have a good breakfast and good quality for what you pay

We would definitely recommend this as a budget hotel for anyone planning a city break. It was only a 30min walk from the centre and there were many bars and restaurant within 5 mins walk

The apartment was nice, good location. The bathroom was very strange. The water cylinder was inside the bathtub, and the toilet was so high that no one could reach the floor while sitting.

Central and clean . Only problem is no front desk. The key delivery system is not clear and not user friendly

it was a nice experience. the room was clean, the housekeeper came to refresh my room daily and fold my shirt tidily. self-checkin/ checkout process was easy too. and the location was good, convenient to go everywhere.

Honestly if you're solo travelling or you're two people just go right ahead and book it it's super close to the city centre right next to the metro line the room is really clean they had capsule coffee and water with a couple of Sweet treats the bed was comfortable the Wi-Fi is decent checking in was super easy

This is absolutely a fantastic hotel. We actually stayed here twice on a two week journey through the region, once on the way in for four days, and then later before we flew home for three more days

We stayed at the Hotel Zur Wiener Staatsoper with our family of six people for 5 nights, and it was nothing short of an extraordinary stay! We've traveled extensively throughout Europe, in large resorts and also small boutique hotels, and none were as charming, well-run, meticulously clean, and attentive to guests as this hotel
