Good location - beautiful views, nice and clean rooms, not bad food ... quite unfriendly staff - did not let us play table games in the lobby/restaurant though we were the only guests and booked the hole hotel, started to clean something with vacuum cleaner 8 in the morning, unfriendly attitude. I really don't understand why the owners don't update the information about the hotel. It is a top 5 stars hotel, not 3 stars as it is written. I've been to 34 countries, and this is the best mountain hotel ever been to. It has also some Michelin accreditations. The service and the facilities in the hotel are the same level as the top 5 stars hotels in the Alps.

It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering. The food is simply not good at all. Very poor quality.

Love this place. Charming, old style, rustic and attractive. The courtyard is beautiful and there are kittens playing. The restaurant downstairs is affordable, healthy and delicious. The room has lots of wood and it has a good feeling. It's GREAT value for the price.

I have been in this Hotel for three nights and had a very nice time. The Hotel needs some maintenance specially in the showers but the food and the people that are working there are excellent. Stayed here two weeks ago. Great location, good variety of breakfast and dinner ( it’s not like the people complaining about the variety of food have more choices every day at home 😂) The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent service, good location. The spa is very good. The hotel is old but was very clean. We had a one-room appartment. The rooms were big, only the sofa wasn't very comfortable. We went on our summer holiday in Aura hotel in Velingrad for a few days. It's a lovely hotel with one big pool and a few small ones all with mineral water. Food was delicious. We took opportunity of spa procedures and it was great. Highly recommended.

Looking nice, calm and clean. Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. Staff was very busy but nice. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel. Which is OK but should be adjusted depending on the time you want to use it. Restaurant had almost no visitors in the afternoon.

Wonderful place! Great staff, nice rooms, clean and large spa areas and big pools. The nearby bowling and billiards make it a perfect place for a family holiday. The live club is a must.

One of the best and oldest spas in Velingrad. You are in an old style 5 star Hotel, but the genuine version. Amazing place! We fell in love with it at first sight. We went two years in a row, but unfortunately they put up the prices drastically. There is a 6km bicycle or hiking route around the dam. Another hiking trail towards a nearby tiny dam too.

The rooms are terribly small, those facing the Balkans. The procedures are very messy and you have to keep track of the hours every day, and when you have a bath and then other procedures, it's a lot of running.
