I enjoyed staying in Bla-bla hostel.
The hostel is located in a very convenient place: close to subway, cafes, parks, monuments and wide boulevards.

It is kept clean and tidy.
Receptionists are nice and cleate welcoming atmosphere. There were a few hiccups during my check-in, but they all were resolved in my favor by the receptionist. I think it is very important

The only problem for me was that the kitchen is closed in the early mornings. And opens only at 8.00

Good place to crush for a few day’s time. Staff was friendly and roomies were cool (mostly travelling foreigners).

I only spent 1 night in Sofia and stayed in Bla Bla hostel. The only excellent thing about Bla Bla hostel is location. It is in the center of city, close to attractions place

Overall cleanliness of the whole property is ok as the cleaner did her best from what I saw, but unluckily my bed was not as clean as I expected. Hope the color on my bed cover and pillow was stain not dirt (see pictures). Also when I wanted to extend my stay for the next day and came down to receptionist, he said he had finished his shift and asked me to come back in the morning, while his shift was actually not finished yet (there is a written information what time reception is supposed to close). Other than those two issues, it was a great stay, kitchen is spacious with stoves, sink, fridge, table and chairs, living room.

Go for a premium dormitory where it isn’t not smelly and comes with Curtain to block the lights. Does not turn on the heat in late October but is ok once sleeps in

Shared toilet and shower if the entire floor. Still clean and not smelly.

The dirtiest and unhygienic hostel I ever lived in my whole life. Upon asking the guys and from self observation they don’t even change the beddings nor wash them (you can see in the pictures). There must be people with skin diseases and they let them spread to others. The beds are broken, the foams are like you are sleeping on rough earth. I hope their license should be withdrawn until they follow the basics. Better to stay on footpath than renting a bed here. The positive things were the location and clean toilets.

Important thing. The male receptionist is very very rude, wasn't just with me infact with everyone. Don't ruin your mood/tour bcz he doesn't know how to deal with foreigners.
Don't just see that it's cheaper in price. Cleanliness & beds are ridiculous. Mattresses are tooooo old that it feels like u r laying on floor.
