Sofia, Sofia Center, bulevard "General Eduard I. Totleben" 8 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's good value for money, but I don't really like the decorating style; it's a bit oppressive and old-fashioned.
In general hotel was nice but my experience from the breakfast was very poor. To be honest the service did not clean the tables, it was very difficult to find the rable without leftovers from the food of predecessors
Additionally satin stairs were full of stains. It was visible that somebody spoilt something on the seat or grabbed the back of the chair with his dirty hand
The staff at the reception could be more polite, and in general every evening there are a lot of murky guys and obscure dressed ladies coming into hotel. Probably will not take this hotel next time I'm in Sofia
We stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour. 10-12 July 2025
The room: was comfortable. We reported it and were told we could change rooms or have it repaired the next day. We chose to wait until the next day
Alegro Lobby Bar: the female bar person working in there was extremely rude. And she didn't make the cocktails with all ingredients listed. I was very nice in my request and she was still rude
Sofia, 100 James Bourchier Blvd (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
All good but the breakfast is not good for this important hotel … orange juice must be fresh not in cartoon bag… and others particularity …
used to be the best in the past , but especially the rooms need renovation , otherwise the facilities , the Restaurants are one of the best in the city
Excellent breakfasts, good facility for sports teams.
Great restaurant Burrata in hotel, which does excellent cocktails.
Heating in room was on high and couldn't be adjusted.
Not overly friendly.
But that's what has given the Marinela its special character all these years. The restaurants provide excellent offerings, the staff was extremely courteous, and my suite was outstanding!
The lobby of the hotel is quite nice although it seems to have various confusing themes. The hotel does have some great restaurants and bars so you do not have to leave the hotel for a good meal
A good hotel, the lobby and halls are very beautiful, the interior is stunning, the park at the hotel is incredibly elegant, very beautiful, a very good place for high-level events, but the rooms in the hotel are quite old-fashioned and shabby, and the room service is also at a very low level
Sofia, 89B, Vitosha Blvd. (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is very comfortable in great location and restaurants are very good eating and parking in the underground , service and cleaning best 👌
Perfect welcome, but the checkout felt a bit cold. The room was very spacious, modern and had a beautiful view. The sky bar was excellent, and the restaurants offered very good cuisine.
the best luxurious hotel in the city , perfect location , good restaurant choices
Everything we tried was really good. The casino itself is very luxurious and impressive. We really enjoyed the overall experience there. One thing to know is that there are no free alcoholic drinks in the casino
The hotel has some of the best restaurants in the city. On the ground floor there is a Mediterranean restaurant that feels high quality and well done
When we arrived, we found out that the pool is part of the spa, and entry to the spa costs 40 euros per day. If having a pool is important to you, make sure to include the spa cost in your budget planning
My wife even said that this was one of the best Hilton hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in our fair share. We are definitely coming back!
Good Service . Friendly Front office staff
We stay here regularly when visiting family. The rooms are lovely - well decorated and spacious. The staff are very thoughtful and the customer service is excellent
Great hotel, awesome comfortable rooms. The facilities are great, the bar and restaurant are of good quality. The gym has new equipment and fantastic airconditioning. The sauna and steembath were both great too
As a Diamond member, I’ve visited three times this year because it’s so memorable, and General Manager Stephan Reiter gives excellent recognition. The lounge staff have noticeably improved by my third visit
The only area for improvement would be the reception and concierge, who still act very casually rather than professionally. The lounge is generous with food / drinks, making it a relaxing experience overall
Sofia, 5 Sveta Nedelya Square (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is grand and newly renovated. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions. The toiletries are Clarins, and the breakfast spread is rich and varied. Highly recommended!
Great and convenient location, making it easy to walk to many interesting sights. The room was a good size, and the gym had good quality equipment available 24/7. Breakfast was decent with a fair variety.
This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its price point. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around
Very good location, cozy room although the ventilation system still old soviet style. Friendly staff, check-in time 15:00 sharp with no exception.
Good hotel and location is very nice.
Good location, big rooms , very good breakfast, clean rooms , No parking , no facilities, no swimming pool,
Sofia, 4 Narodno Sabranie Sq (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Very nice hotel to stay! Rooms are so big…especially with balcony! Housekeeping are working very good!
Launge club do not recommend…nothing to do there for $50!
Location is perfect! All official organizations are very closed
Hotel is perfectly located in center Sofia, service is good but not as attentional as what I’m used from Intercontinental… you would expect exceptional attention service from the hotel
(Told them it was my birthday for example and not even a happy birthday) Rooms are very spacious, spa and gym very nice and the Adore restaurant has very good food
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel!
The service was exceptional, the rooms were clean and comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel
Perfect room with perfect view.
Excellent location.
It was very nice to get upgrade and free breakfast.
Parking is not cheap $22 per day
I would recommend this hotel, convenient to good restaurants and nightlife
Sofia, Center, Vasil Levski Sq (in the centre) 🧭 Map
There's even a divider between the bathroom to the rest of the room so it felt like staying in a junior suite instead. The facilities were amazing, best indoor pool I've been to ever
Hotel was with good location, the room was quite basic. Service attitude not the best and the breakfast room was quite messy and not cleaned also small. I can recommend this for a few nights stay in Sofia
Very nice 2 week business stay. Rooms large and clean, personell friendly - hospitality as it should be! I especially enjoyed the very good breakfast, but also had a few lunches and dinners
Good location good breakfast good room
The service was so good because I was very frustrated and hangry as the QR code and the TV ordering system didn't work and I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one picked up
Best 5 star property in Sofia hands down. The room was spacious with contemporary and minimalist design but still very functional
Sofia, 64 Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel environment is nice, the rooms are good, very clean, and the service is excellent
Like the idea that they provide bottles and water dispenser. Room is large, more than enough space. Able to see the nice sunrise every morning. Some tea spoons in the room would be a good improvement
Good service, average facilities, breakfast is okay.
The hotel has a great location at an intersection, and it even has a bar and an open-air restaurant, which is very convenient. It's also close to a shopping mall, just across the pedestrian bridge
I spent just one night here, and it was a wonderful experience. The reception staff were very professional and friendly. The room was both clean and spacious
Hotel is ideal for a business trip. Friendly staff and rich breakfast. Great location near the airport!
Sofia, NPZ Iskar, bul. "Bruksel" 11, 1592 Sofiya, Bolgariya (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Even though I only stayed for a few hours to get some sleep, this was the hotel with the best-smelling bed sheets I’ve experienced so far. It really left a great impression on me
This place was good we were there for a over night stay for a quick turn around at the airport
drive to Sofia International Airport /the hotel provide shuttle with No extra cost/. Thanks for the hospitality to the all employees crew
The price per night was high compared to what you got and compared to other hotel chains. Breakfast had good selection and nice ambient in the
Restaurant
The roads around the hotel were steep, which made walking difficult. Other than that, everything was perfect.
The only issue was waiting a bit too long during check-out. But I would definitely choose this hotel again
Sofia, 115 N Tsarigradsko Shosse Blvd (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The facilities are modern and the service is excellent. However, they do not provide bottled water. You have to take your empty bottles to the water dispenser in the corridor to get water.
It is very convenient to be next to a supermarket. The front desk service is good. The check-out was two hours late on the last day. I hope to come again in the future
They don't clean the room every day, and even if they do, they don't change the towels. That's really not good.
The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed
I recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day
The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep
Sofia, Studentski Kompleks, ul. "Rosario" 1 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Absolutely fantastic stay! The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, with an excellent bed that ensured a great night’s sleep
The location is ideal—especially if you're going to a live show at Joy Station, just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel also offers a convenient taxi call service at reception, available anytime for free
His English speaking was amazing, combined with his helfulness. Hardworking but loved inter-acting with all clients. Wonderful latte, but on my last day, I requested his signature"cocktail "
Ceco (Receptionist) was very rude on the same day of my arrival. I can say my mood lifted as soon as I went over to the Hotel Bar. Melin was superb as we had a great interaction
The breakfast staff were also superb, for a few days. Breakfast selection was great
Plus, it's less than 20 minutes from the airport by car
Sofia, 111 Alexander Malinov Blvd (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Located in a business park out of town but that suited us for what we were doing. Room was amazing, bed was comfortable, room service was great, bathroom products were good, buffet, and spa was also amazing.
Gym is also really, really good. It would be nice to have a dedicated water fountain in the gym and one next to the sauna. Location only for people who visit offices nearby
The hotel experience was really good. The room sizes, facilities like gym, pool etc, the bar was well maintained and met my expectations. Highly recommended
But
If you appreciate outstanding service, fresh and delicious food, beautiful architecture and interior design, impeccable cleanliness, a perfect spa, and a massage that goes beyond your wildest dreams (Redi and Neri) - do yourself a favor: pack a small suitcase and come here for a weekend, a week, or even longer!
This place truly deserves five stars in every possible way:
The food
The service at...
Breakfast is OK, I would suggest having a dedicated person at the egg station so that I could order an omelette any time (menu suggests it's paid extra). It would be nice to also have a decaf coffee option
The atmosphere throughout the hotel was elegant, luxurious and relaxing, and every detail felt carefully thought out to make guests feel welcome and comfortable
The spa is excellent—worth the visit even though it's an additional cost for standard room guests. Unfortunately, my partner experienced a distressing moment when the lift broke down in complete darkness for 20 minutes
This is the best hotel in Europe in this price range. It is located in the best place in the city center of Sofia, walkable to various kind of restaurants of all kinds. 5 minutes walk to subway station
Excellent hotel located in the city center. Huge rooms, I stayed in "Executive room" that looked like a suite. The rooms are clean and and seems renowned. Breakfast is good with lots of varieties
The hotel's Asian restaurant is also worth mentioning—it’s generally very good, though I'd recommend steering clear of the ramen
Great classy hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The outdoor "wintergarden" is a great place to have a drink or lunch.
The location is excellent in Sofia city center
Best place to stay in Sofia!! Service, location, price . Just love it!
The hotel has a wide view, sometimes the breakfast is good and rich, the upper floors can see the city, like the park next to it, it is large and suitable for walking, hiking and running, the big room is nice
Excellent stay! The hotel's location was super convenient for an event at the nearby stadium – easily walkable. The staff were very helpful and communication was smooth
Plus, the restaurant downstairs was fantastic with great food
Overpriced hotel whose heyday was over 30 years ago. The reception staff barely spoke English. You can see from everything that the best before date is long gone
The junior suite is very nicely furnished. Very clean.
Sofia, Studentski Kompleks, ulitsa "Doctor Yordan Yosifov" 1a, 12th floor, 1700 Sofiya, Bolgariya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms are huge — perfect for setting up a comfortable workspace. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful whenever I needed anything
A very unique hotel that combines hotel and co-working spaces into one. Room was very spacious, breakfast was good and an easy 15min ride from the airport
Not good
Extremely hot, air con not working, towel rail in bathroom fully working in July?! Had to open the window to get some air, very noisy as next to a busy road, mosquitos decided to join us
I stayed at WN Hotel for 3 days as a remote worker and was pleasantly surprised at every turn. The self check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the keyless Bluetooth door entry made coming and going effortless
The surrounding area is alive and booming with shops, bars, and restaurants, giving off a young, productive vibe. Highly recommended for digital nomads and anyone looking for a comfortable, modern stay!
While the hotel isn't located in the city center (so it may be less ideal for travelers looking to explore Sofia in just a day), it's absolutely heaven for remote workers
Sofia, 16 Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. (in the centre) 🧭 Map
In all ways I was very happy here. Location good for local parks, sights, accessible to other areas. View terrific in room on 5th floor facing St Alex cathedral. Floor ceiling windows real nice
Service of door guy , helping with luggage, was superb, and front desk very friendly. Lovely chill top floor breakfast with morning view. My only suggestion is thicker bulgarian fresh yogurt at the breakfast buffet
Nice location, beautiful rooms and great service... we didn’t have the chance to eat at the restaurant but the menu sounded really promising... next time we will come here again!!!
Loved my entire experience at Hotel Sense, from the service to the room to the breakfast. Thank you for everything
The hotel is in the heart of Sofia, within walking distance of all major landmarks and just steps from the metro station. The spa is excellent — featuring a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and even a cold tub
The location is great, the hardware is very good, and there is English service at the front desk, but the software, service and soundproofing are not good. The front desk was still under renovation when we went there.
Sofia, 52, Hristo Botev Blvd. (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is in a great location, close to the center. The room and bathroom were clean and perfectly adequate. There's also a restaurant on-site. A big highlight was the breakfast – it was excellent and plentiful
We stayed in a family room for four. The location and service were great, the breakfast was good, and the kids were very happy! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I were to come back to Sofia!
As a solo traveler I really valued being able to step outside and reach everything on foot without needing to plan around transport. The room was comfortable and clean, good enough to get work done and rest well
Breakfast was decent and a good way to fuel up before a day of exploring. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with. A reliable, well-positioned choice for anyone wanting to use Sofia city center as their base
As a solo traveler mixing work and leisure, I had a fantastic stay at Central Hotel Sofia! Its prime location in the heart of Sofia, just a short walk from the Mall of Sofia and Saint Nedelya Church, made exploring the city effortless
The room was a perfect blend of comfort and functionality, featuring a cozy memory foam bed and a well-designed desk that was ideal for my work needs. The complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi kept me connected without a hitch
Sofia, Pette Kyosheta, Todor Alexandrov Blvd 14 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
An excellent hotel for a comfortable stay close to the historic city center. No complaints.
Spacious rooms, beautiful and glamorous art all over. Service mostly good but not very friendly at the desk. Cleaning staff and breakfast staff were very sweet and friendly
Had a good massage at the spa, nice staff there. Location perfect, walked everywhere we went
The location is not terrible, but definitely a good 20 minutes walk from the main attractions. Not a lot of food options around either
Location was good. Rooms were clean and large. Staff was helpful . Thank you ..........
A very unique hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here and would book again! There is beautiful abstract art covering most walls and all empty space is filled with sculptures
Sofia, 59 bul. "Tsar Boris III" (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was clean, spacious, and odorless, making it a pretty good hotel in Bulgaria. The only downside was the limited breakfast selection, although they did have freshly fried sunny-side-up eggs
I checked in on Friday night and enjoyed a three-course dinner with local wines at the restaurant. The restaurant has an open kitchen, is very clean and spacious, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and energetic
After dinner, I went to the rooftop bar, which had a great atmosphere with a live DJ, reasonably priced drinks, and was still very lively
This is a new hotel with private parking. The decor is simple yet stylish, and the atmosphere is vibrant from the moment you step inside
This was my first hotel stay in Bulgaria, and it truly represents the country and leaves a great impression on visitors
Please provide the English version of the above to see if there are any optimization suggestions
Sofia, 75 D R Gm Dimitrov Bvld (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
One notable thing about this hotel is that it has the best smelling towels and sheets I've ever used, world wide
Speaking of shower - the mixer that turns it on and off is so complicated that it should come with an instruction manual. And yes, this is probably my 40th or 50th visit in this hotel in the span of the last few months
We booked in Vega because it’s near a lot of consulates (which was our reason of the trip), so it was very convenient! The breakfast was amazing, simple but very good! Enjoyed every bite
You have to turn the light on before opening the door. The bath tub is incredibly high. If you have weak knees or osteoporosis or arthritis, getting over the tub wall to use the shower is a challenge
Excelent accomodation, especially the beds are very confortable.
Professional and friendly staff.
Good food and fast cleaning.
Felt like home and will return with the first occasion !
We had our wedding in the restaurant and spent the night in the hotel. Service, approach, and food - all these were excellent. Keep the good work folks, thank you!
