The personnel is fantastic (mostly all of them) specially if they try to help you.  The room is average/medium due they give you a non renovated, non climatized room and a non screen shower in the bathroom so when you take a shower everything is a mess. Nice ambience in the hotel (reception area) and good in general (because of the offer I got from Trip, 41€)  300 mts from the central railway station...

It's good value for money, but I don't really like the decorating style; it's a bit oppressive and old-fashioned.

Although advertised as four star hotel it's nowhere near. The rooms are average, cleaning service don't come every day and the bins near entrance are usually full of garbage. The staff at the reception could be more polite, and in general every evening there are a lot of murky guys and obscure dressed ladies coming into hotel. Probably will not take this hotel next time I'm in Sofia.

In general hotel was nice but my experience from the breakfast was very poor. To be honest the service did not clean the tables, it was very difficult to find the rable without leftovers from the food of predecessors. Additionally satin stairs were full of stains. It was visible that somebody spoilt something on the seat or grabbed the back of the chair with his dirty hand. Awful.

Astoria Grand Hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The breakfast is very modest, both in terms of variety and quality. A bit below 4*. Like any 4*hotel in Sophia, the breakfast is poor and the coffee is hardly drinkable. The casino downstairs is a bit out of my taste. Half of the people are nice, half of them are a bit cold, none of them exagerates. Some stuff in the bathroom is occasionally broken or malfunctioning. The nice restaurants are within a 30+ minute walk.

I went to the panorama restaurant. Gread food, pricey but worth it. A few things were dated but I was impressed they got dishes such as geese liver and veal cutlets correct. Hotel Marinela -- Truly a Unique Experience! The Hotel Marinela is truly unique, perhaps resembling a huge boutique hotel. The decor is unmatched, and maybe not to everyone's taste. We stay here regularly when visiting family. The rooms are lovely - well decorated and spacious. The staff are very thoughtful and the customer service is excellent. The hotel is well placed for both the centre of town and getting out of town on the motorway.

Great hotel, awesome comfortable rooms. The facilities are great, the bar and restaurant are of good quality. The gym has new equipment and fantastic airconditioning. The sauna and steembath were both great too. The only thing you could miss are a hot tub and/or pool really.

Excellent Hilton hotel in the center of Sofia town, easy to reach from airport with professional staff and good breakfast, very clean and with a very good smell in the hall and in the room, I really want to thank them for the wonderful weekend we had here, if we come back we’ll definitely sleep here. This hotel is grand and newly renovated. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions. The toiletries are Clarins, and the breakfast spread is rich and varied. Highly recommended!

In all ways I was very happy here. Location good for local parks, sights, accessible to other areas. View terrific in room on 5th floor facing St Alex cathedral. Floor ceiling windows real nice. The hotel is in the heart of Sofia, within walking distance of all major landmarks and just steps from the metro station. The spa is excellent — featuring a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and even a cold tub. The design is minimal yet warm, with thoughtful details that instantly help you relax. A perfect urban retreat!

We had a wonderfull stay at Sense hotel. The wellness is ideal for relaxing , then a cocktail at the rooftop and lunch or dinner in the exquisit Asian restaurant below.. Location is fantastic...many clubs anf nice bars for daytime drinking in the neighboorhood....

The front desk service was very thoughtful

Spacious, well decorated room with good sized bed and mattress. However, room got stuffy at night and air con wasn’t really working. Breakfast was good in terms of spread but the room needs more tables - or separate the bigger tables as it was hard to find seating during the weekend at 8.30am… location was great next to the metro and an easy walk to Vitosha Boulevard.

The hotel's location is truly central in Sofia. It's close to the main business district, and Vitosha Blvd, with all its restaurants, is within walking distance. I had no complaints about the hotel facilities; they were perfectly satisfactory. I personally opted for a breakfast-included plan, but I would have appreciated a bit more variety, especially with salads and other vegetables.

Very close (6 mins) drive from the Sofia airport. Very convenient as we were driving to Bansko for our annual skiing trip. Very clean, Family friendly and easy to book.

The facilities are modern and the service is excellent. However, they do not provide bottled water. You have to take your empty bottles to the water dispenser in the corridor to get water.

Stayed for two nights. The hotel is very clean. It must be a new hotel. The facilities are also new. It is very convenient to be next to a supermarket. The front desk service is good. The check-out was two hours late on the last day. Thank you very much. I hope to come again in the future.

They don't clean the room every day, and even if they do, they don't change the towels. That's really not good.

Cigarette smoke gets pumped into your room through vents. If you enjoy sleeping in an ash tray this is the hotel for you.

Very helpful front desk, helped with all my queries and even printed off my bus ticket home. Room was quaint but nice, good view of the mountain despite the clouds. Bathroom compact but perfectly serviceable. Only complaint would be you get some noise from other guests in the hallway, but that’s fairly normal.

It is located in the best place in the city center of Sofia, walkable to various kind of restaurants of all kinds. 5 minutes walk to subway station. Very nice hotel close to airport

The roads around the hotel were steep, which made walking difficult. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Even though I only stayed for a few hours to get some sleep, this was the hotel with the best-smelling bed sheets I’ve experienced so far. It really left a great impression on me. The only issue was waiting a bit too long during check-out. But I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Extended my stay. There's a popular local restaurant, Happy Bar, downstairs. The food was on the salty side. The hotel is a bit old. However, it's conveniently located, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is just average.

Overpriced hotel whose heyday was over 30 years ago. The reception staff barely spoke English. You can see from everything that the best before date is long gone. The elevator also got stuck many times and my friend had to wait for help to get out. The panoramic restaurant has amazing views. The waiters were true professionals. Unfortunately, the food was completely overcooked throughout.

Nice hotel in the Russian Embassy neighborhood. It is clean, attentive staff in a safe area. It is a short walk to the subway/metro. Only 200 meters.

The hotel is very noisy outside. You can hear the rumbling of cars outside when you sleep at night. It's impossible to sleep! There are not many places to eat around! There is only a very small supermarket around, and the items are limited.

Not good Extremely hot, air con not working, towel rail in bathroom fully working in July?! Had to open the window to get some air, very noisy as next to a busy road, mosquitos decided to join us.
