Sofia, 89b bulevard \ (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is spacious, luxury and with very nice atmosphere. The reception staff is very polite and helpful. The food definitely needs improvement, for a 5-star hotel is expected a lot more. The other thing which I found unpleasant is the organization of the cleaning staff - vacuum cleaners, mops and buckets with water are everywhere, I understand they need to clean but it could be arranged in discrete...
A truly wonderful stay – despite some unpleasant company I’m currently staying at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Sofia, and I couldn't be happier. The location is perfect, the rooms are spacious, spotless, and offer a stunning view of both the city and the surrounding nature. The staff here are exceptionally kind, polite, and helpful – whether at reception, breakfast, or housekeeping. Their...
An elegant shell with an underwhelming guest experience. Overall, the Grand Hotel Millennium didn’t live up to expectations - mainly due to disappointing service that didn't match the hotel’s impressive appearance. The hotel is beautifully designed, clean, and visually striking. We stayed in a Premium room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The food was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the...
Truly beautiful and huge rooms! The bathroom is huge, very clean and has all the extra amenities needed. The bed is also huge and very good. Will be tough leaving this place. The people working in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and lunch buffet are very rich and diverse and again the staff is very friendly and helpful. Gym and rooftop bar/restaurant really are the cherry on the...
this was amazing! everything, actually! i went there with my family for 2-3 days and it was fantastic. the rooms had many space and sometimes rooms werre connected by doors as if the guys in the room were roommates. not only that, but the food and drinks were awesome! the fries were served very cooked and hot with alot of condiments, the burgers too, and there were many varieties of food and areas...

I never been in such an amazing hotel Panoramic view Rooms bigger than my home. I've been all over the world. This is simply the best Hopefully there will be a business lounge soon.. Astoria Grand Hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The breakfast is very modest, both in terms of variety and quality. The rooms are outdated, as shown by peeling wallpaper, a leaking shower, and lukewarm water that makes showering unpleasant. In short: the location is good, parking is available (but not free), but the hotel is clearly past its prime and in urgent need of maintenance. It is certainly...
A bit below 4*. Like any 4*hotel in Sophia, the breakfast is poor and the coffee is hardly drinkable. The casino downstairs is a bit out of my taste. Half of the people are nice, half of them are a bit cold, none of them exagerates. Some stuff in the bathroom is occasionally broken or malfunctioning. The nice restaurants are within a 30+ minute walk.
on the positive side the mattress of the beds, the view from the rooms and the furniture of the rooms. On its negatives the long wait in the elevators due to their incorrect programming, the small variety of breakfast while it is a 4* hotel, long waits at the coffee machines, and while it looked clean there were hairs from the cleaning staff every day in the bathroom and not detailed cleaning of the...
Good hotel not far from central area. There is a casino but in fact only live roulette others are automats Two restaurants working till 23 Beautiful panorama on bulgarian mountains out of window
Lovely hotel, nice rooms and staff. Altogether very comfortable. Only problem was the hot breakfast was always quite cold and I had to ask for a reheat. However the variety of breakfast items was great.
A good luxury hotel in the heart of Sofia. Its ideal for visiting the city center. The price is ok , but the rooms need some work . In the room I stayed the door handle was coming off , the bathroom door had a dent from punch , and some other vandalism actions that are not expected in such a hotel. It has 23 floors and in the top a roof garden bar/restaurant, additionally it has a great view in the...

Currently InterContinental. Probably the best city hotel in Sofia.
Great hotel. You can walk everywhere to get around(important and interesting places). Polite staff. Wonderful Breakfast. Very comfortable bed(mattress, pillows). The first night it was hot under the duvet. Brought the thin. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Thank you.
Refurbished comfortable and luxurious rooms, professional service, great location!
Amazing hotel in the heart of Sofia. It is next to the Sofia university, City garden, Royal Palace and National Theatre. Good customer service and cozy rooms. It is a little pricy but I would definately recommend it.
The business rooms are a bit pricey but comfortable

Very nice 2 week business stay. The hotel is near to perfect. Rooms large and clean, personell friendly - hospitality as it should be! I especially enjoyed the very good breakfast, but also had a few lunches and dinners. I will be back!
Amazing 3 night stay. Radi was so helpful, friendly and provided great suggestions of where to eat and what’s unique to shop. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to city center, 5 min walk to the famous cathedral. Rooms a very spacious with tons of storage and very nice shower. Comfy bed and couch to relax. Exceptional service, comfort and cleanliness with all the right amenities. I stayed at the Hyatt during August of 2024 as part of a delegation to a special convention. Despite being part of a large group, I received personalized attention from the excellent staff and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend!
One of the better hotel options in Sofia. The rooms are quite basic but the beds are comfortable and it's quiet. There was no mini bar, just a bare fridge which was odd, but they did have a coffee machine. Good restaurant, great buffet breakfast, amazing spa and very decent, well equipped gym. The aesthetic and vibe of the place overall is more business than pleasure but the amenities make it a worthwhile...
The hotel exceeded above and beyond my expectations. The staff was extremely polite. My room/suite was clean and spotless. I had a dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The waitress was very nice. The food was prepared to perfection. Sophisticated high-end modern interior and design in the hotel. Five plus stars on my stay!!
This is one of my faforite properties anywhere within the Hyatt system. The staff are outstanding. The club level rooms are perfect for my needs and I actually prefer them over the suites. The lounge is spacious and comfortable with a solid happy hour. There is an excellent spa with both sauna and steam rooms as well as a pool area that has high pressure jets. My wife and I stayed there one night with our 1 year old baby. I will strongly recommend it. It was very clean, staff is very polite and professional. Restaurant was about to close, but they still served me food. I would definitely stay there again .!
I stayed for 11 days and today is my last day... Everything was perfect, they gave me a early check-in, which was very appreciated. Everyone was delightful but 1/2 people made a really great impression, the chef that cooks the omlettes in the morning, he will always greet you and smile but overall his energy made you feel very welcomed. I would definitely recommend. The only suggestion id make is...
If possible i would give 20 Stars. We celebrated our wedding there, and from the beginning we received a bespoke Service that overexeeded our expectations. This impression lasted during the whole event and our journey. All of our guests loved the place and the people also. We highly recommend this place and will definetely come back. If lucky with a christening ;)
Excellent as usual. I reached at midnight and yet the Chef made me a burger to eat. Kudos!!
Perfect location for private or business event. The stuff was extremely polite and helpful, they helped me to organize my small private event in the SPA zone and everything was exactly like in my mind. Last but not least they were very flexible with regard to the current pandemic situation and they did their best to meet my wishes and needs.
The room is confortable and clean. Excellent staff. You can ask for bathrobe and slippers at the front desk. The breakfast is the "but", it could be improved, we had dinner and the difference of quality is notable.

I stayed overnight in Expo. It was close to the airport and three stops away on the Yellow Line metro for the Top Renta Car depot where I hired a car. Location was convenient for my needs. I was let down with the airport pick up, but hotel reception told me to take a taxi from Terminal 2 at the airport and they would pay. This happened but apparently via a voucher system. The hotel was clean and...
The rooms are very decent. The food was good. The only thing I did not like was that you have to slam the door hard in order to open it and that makes a lot of noise all around the floor.
The hotel is big & has the usual facilities but is very quiet & has a depressing vibe maybe because of the older look. The rooms are big but lack a fresh feel. It needs some renovating. You can easily see the signs of fixes done on the room & a few things need more fixing still. There's no view whatsoever. One can see Vitosha mountain in the distance, but it's obscured by other buildings. There's nothing...
Very close to the airport with a shuttle service. Comfortable, big rooms with all facilities, sauna and fitness free for the clients. Delicios and creative desserts at the restaurant, with kind and quick service. Personalised and polite attention at reception, thanks to Lubo & Valq. Highly recommended.
I'm currently staying at the Expo Hotel in Sofia and am thoroughly enjoying my experience so far. From the moment I checked in, the staff has been exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs are met promptly. Great for the price they offer, especially with the breakfast they offer. The reception area has a lot of seating area so you don't have to sit close to strangers and make it awkward for everyone. They even call you a reliable taxi with card payment. The rooms are clean but they need to maintain the corners of metal objects more thoroughly to avoid rust.

Great place for dinner with friends. Delicious food on top floor with nice view ✨
Location was really close to the Asics Arena and had multiple food places nearby. The rooms were quite basic but they were spacious if a bit unclean. Good value for money and there was a good choice at breakfast. All the staff were really helpful.
The stuff was nice, especially the young lady at the reception. Very helpful and always smiling! Breakfast very good! The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable, although the air conditioning did not work. I stayed two nights and overall I am very pleased! There is a beautiful park next to the hotel which I also recommend! I will come back there for sure!
I would like to say my impressions are amazing for the price which we paid. Thanks a lot for this lovely and helpful staff on the reception. The room was clean tidy smelled good and was warm. Good welcoming the breakfast was more than excellent for more or less price of 6€. The restaurant on the 6th floor was super tasty and the chef prepared and cooked everything on the spot. Thanks a lot and actually...
The reception was very nice and friendly. Didn't feel the room was sterilised. There was body hair in the bath top. It was tidy but the sense of clean just didn't get that feeling. Had to try the key card many times to open the door, very difficult. 5 minutes. Noise from the traffic in the morning but that is normal for Sofia. The layout of the hotel is nice and invite to comfort.
Overall a nice hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was nice. I wish the bathroom had been a little larger. Other than that, no complaints.

Staff is friendly. However, I was given a room which was sharing a small balcony with another room. But the catch is that my balcony room was locked and I couldn’t go out. We stayed couple of nights in this hotel. The breakfast included was great, plenty of options for eating. The room is not nor small nor big but has everything needed for a comfortable staying. The ladies from reception were kind and explained everything properly.
The staff is very good, they tried to help us as much as possible when needed, the food could have more variety but its still well done, and the rooms are comfortable too. In general no problems with our stay here, it was nice.
Very friendly cleaning lady The food was often out and the cutlery too because several buses arrived at the same time and the kitchen could not follow .. Upon arrival we were very late and were allowed to receive a lunch package, for which we thank you. Had a very good stay.
The hotel has extremely friendly and helpful staff ready to assist you at any time of the day. The rooms are classic and accommodated with everything you might need for your stay. But the highlight of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The menu has vegan and vegetarian options and if you are a meat lover, you should definitely give their beef a try.

The staff is not willing to take responsibility, so we will not recomend this hotel. While cleaning the room the threw away the lids of the contact lenses box. No big deal IF instead of asking "can you prove it was us" they would simply send someone to get a new box. Probably a one dollar expense... Negative attitude is no way to treat customers...
It's a well situated and good service hotel. The rooms are spacious and it has nice showers. Value to price ratio is good.
Not bad service, but the language barrier was obvious. No one informed us about a card in the closet which we have to use for cleaning the room the opposite way a "do not disturb" sign works. Great breakfast and bar. Nice rooms but noicy crowds.
All-in-all, the experience was reasonable. But for several reasons I won't come back, and I won't recommend the place to others. From an emotional point of view, this hotel is forgettable, lacking any charisma, and loosing points for cheapening out at certain building/decorative features (things that shouldn't happen in place with 4 stars). The receptionist was a bit rude, got annoyed that we bothered...
I didn't like the surface very much as it doesn't bounce the ball much. We are not professionals but it was not very good. It is saved through the online system, which is a big plus and most of the times it is calm, but the unpleasant thing is that when the ball comes out, it takes 1, 2 minutes to get it back since there are nets and it enters the other fields easily.
Pretty good place. There is a kitchen that is not bad at all. There is also a variety of drinks.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and there are some good restaurants and shops a short walk from the hotel.

The hotel is in the heart of Sofia, within walking distance of all major landmarks and just steps from the metro station. The spa is excellent — featuring a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and even a cold tub. The design is minimal yet warm, with thoughtful details that instantly help you relax. A perfect urban retreat!
Good hotel for business stay. The breakfast is good enough but nothing exceptional. Swimming pool is OK, sauna is good. Location is perfect if you want to be in the city center. Good restaurants, and stores within 15 minutes walking distance. Free parking can be an issue though. Overall: good hotel to stay for a week i think.
We had a wonderfull stay at Sense hotel. The wellness is ideal for relaxing , then a cocktail at the rooftop and lunch or dinner in the exquisit Asian restaurant below.. Location is fantastic...many clubs anf nice bars for daytime drinking in the neighboorhood....

Everything is nice. Food amazing. But sometimes bar doesn't, don't down why. Hotel is close to all nice places in city and staff is very helpful.
For 1 night, I found this hotel spacious with great value of money. Its location is perfect that you can walk to city centre and convenient if you travel from Sofia airport without interchange. The drawback is the cleanliness for a bathtub. Wifi is super fast and reliable. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast seems to be ok (7-10 am).

Relation between price and accomodation, fulfill expectations. Room clean and big, in bathroom you have all necessary things. Hotel staff very nice, with veru good english, always ready to assist. Some furniture need to be fixed in room, and room wasn't ventilated well when I arrived. Parking need to be better mark, easily you can enter in wrong one(neighbors underground parking).
Good hotel with nice rooms. The reception desk was often left unattended, and the breakfasts are served at a nearby hotel, which we weren't told about and found out about from other guests. The room was not serviced for two of the seven days. But it is near a metro station, a busy area just 25 minutes from the central attractions.
