We stayed 3 nights at the North Vancouver Hotel. We were originally given a room close to the busy road but asked to be moved further away to cut down on the traffic noise.

Our first night was horrible. On one side of us there was a chain-smoker smoking directly beside our room. On the other side of us there were two people smoking marijuana right outside our door. We called the front desk who addressed the problem. We shoved a towel by the door to stop the odours from entering our room and went to sleep. A short time later the marijuana guys were back banging on the door next to us (it sounded like it was our door they were banging on). From there it was hours of loud talking. The walls are very thin. We had a very rough night.

Thankfully the next two nights were quiet and all smokers moved on.

The hotel rooms are very clean and newly renovated. We had a cute kitchenette (worth paying a little more for). The continental breakfast was well stocked ... for my husband only. Beware: they do not provide any breakfast options for gluten free guests. The only thing I was able to have was fruit and juice. I had to buy a loaf of gluten free bread to have for my breakfast.

Overall: We would stay at the North Vancouver Hotel again. The price was very reasonable and the rooms were very clean. We do hope that they will in the future accommodate gluten free guests with gluten free bread, pastry or buns ... something ... than just stating that they do not have anything for a person like myself who has medical issues and cannot have gluten or dairy.

Overall, it's pretty good, on par with a Hanting Hotel in China.

This is our second visit to the hotel with our athletic team. We book a large block of rooms and they are always clean and ready for us. The staff are always helpful and kind, from the time of booking, to responding to inquires or on check-out. For the price, this is a great place to stay.

My favourite go to in North Vancouver whenever I need a quick shelter. Most of the rooms are clean and newly renovated, breakfast has a good selection and there’s an ample parking spaces. I will surely comeback.

A typical motel, but very clean. The service staff came every day to make the beds and take out the trash, they were very dedicated. The room also had a microwave, which was very convenient. The breakfast was really good, with a wide variety of delicious and hygienic options. One lady working there was particularly kind and friendly – she's both beautiful and has a wonderful attitude! I really love this place. The front desk staff were also great!

It is an Ok hotel for the price. One should not expect much. It is located in Vancouver suburb, I booked it only because was planing to head to Whistler early morning. Unless you need access to something in North Vancouver, like Cypress mountain, it is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is motel style, so the entrance to the room is from the street. The rooms are basic and a bit outdated but large enough and clean. Free breakfast is a plus!

Close proximity to where we wanted. Nice room. Great selection for breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff.

I stay at the North Vancouver Hotel a few times each year. Older hotel but that's alright.
There seems to be different management (my Intel/little birdie tells me some identity thief was trying to take over the true owners' properties).
This past week I was extremely disappointed.
New staff around the hotel are rude as hell. The woman in the dining room watches everything you put on your plate at the continental breakfast like a gas station cashier watching a potential shoplifter. One night someone walked into my room around midnight and then left when I called 'who's there', but whomever it was did not identify themselves as staff. I called the desk right away and asked if a staff member entered my room or if someone else's key card worked on my door. Apparently it was staff; the woman apologized and said she went to the wrong room.
I did not sleep well AT ALL... If she was at the wrong room, why then, only 30 seconds later, was she in the office and not at the "right room"...?
I will go back once the real owner is back.

Great place to stay. Breakfast was great for its room rate. Will definitely go back.

Surprising good stay in a “renovated unit. It’s a motel as much as they argue it’s a hotel.
Good location. Room was & smelled clean (Glade plug-in) whereas other family member’s room was clean but musty. Great water pressure & lots of hot water. Mattress and pillows in good shape. In-room AC/heat, & small vent windows present. Road & parking lot noise easily heard. Ample parking. Rear entrance gate closed at night so must enter off Capilano Rd. Free breakfast had fresh fruit, packaged danishes, hot & cold cereals, pancakes, oatmeal packages, breads, yoghurts, deli meats, cheeses, & hot & cold beverages. Seating is scattered indoor/outdoor & tables were not that clean.
*Booking thru 3rd party websites was actually a higher rate than what we got in person.

The service is very friendly and fast, despite usually being quite busy. It's somewhat of a hole in the wall, size-wise, but it's well worth being cramped to start your day here with a solid breakfast.

There were flakes of paper??cardboard?? Things in our water and the service was non existent. Food is good and cheap though

Expensive average food that can bought at a more reasonable price at other joints like Whitespot, Ihop and Denny's, ... The ambiance wasn't anything special, in fact the space was a bit small and tables tightly spaced. The main server was aweful (seemed like he didn't remotely like his job or something!) seemed but the girl who brought us the food did a good job. I think her name was,, Naz. Other than that our company of 5 had a generally not so great experience.
