EXchange Hotel in Vancouver

Absolutely lovely! Professional team and clean room. I didn’t check any of their amenities or facilities. Overall, the room was quite decent.

The service was excellent, and the location is super convenient. There are tons of coffee shops near downtown, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the SkyTrain, making it really easy to get to the airport.

The entire staff at the Exchange Hotel was courteous, accommodating, and professional during my stay. Jay greeted me at the door with a bright smile, and when I went out later for a walk, he offered me an umbrella to borrow courtesy of the hotel. Later that evening Ivan held the elevator door for me when he saw it closing even though he wasn’t taking the elevator down himself. These kind and attentive gestures went a long way in making my stay memorable. In addition, my room was spotless, and the heated floors in the bathroom were the best! I can’t wait to return on my next trip to Vancouver.

Very close to everywhere, extremely clean, and the service is top-level. My room was delivered late due to high occupancy, but Daniel from the hotel management helped very kindly. While I was trying to get coffee in the executive lounge, I learned that the person assisting me was actually the hotel’s General Manager. Room cleaning and the amenities were of a very high standard.

We had an amazing stay at EXchange Hotel Vancouver and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The concierge and front desk staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive in a way that didn’t feel forced. There were always multiple people at the front desk, and everyone seemed happy to help. Small things really stood out like pressing the elevator buttons for our floor, offering us umbrellas, and just being consistently friendly and thoughtful.

We arrived late at night after a long flight, and the front desk recommended a nearby 24-hour bakery, Breka Bakery & Café. That suggestion ended up being a huge win. It was super close, perfect for a late-night treat, and so good that we went back three times during our stay. The lavender latte and desserts were amazing, and having something like that within walking distance was such a bonus.

The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was great, everything felt well maintained, and the space just felt calm and inviting. One of my favorite details was the heated bathroom floor (so clutch in the winter, especially stepping out of the shower). The shower water heated up well and stayed warm, and the soaps smelled really nice. I would have liked a higher water pressure but it was inconsequential considering everything else being outstanding. Housekeeping was also wonderful; the nice filipina housekeeping lady was incredibly kind and happily gave us extra towels and water when we asked.

The gym was surprisingly well stocked, with all the machines and equipment you’d actually want to use, definitely better than most hotel gyms.

We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, Hydra Estiatorio, and it was delicious. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the appetizers were flavorful and well done. I honestly want to go back just to try more items on the menu.

The location couldn’t have been better. We were able to walk to Stanley Park, rent bikes, and then grab happy hour nearby. We could easily get to the waterfront and the mall. The area felt clean, safe, and had a great overall vibe.

After checkout, they kindly stored our luggage so we could keep exploring before our ride arrived. The lobby/entrance area was beautifully decorated and a really nice place to relax while waiting.

Overall, this stay felt thoughtful and easy in the best way. Everyone was warm, everything was comfortable, and the location made the trip even better. It truly felt like a perfect stay, and we would 100% come back (and probably are very soon).

Nice location and very clean room

A hotel with a good location and environment.

This is a fantastic hotel! That said -- they didn't actually have valet parking when we were there, so don't count on that (parking is tight, but we managed with our SUV). Okay, back to the good stuff: great, friendly staff. Amazing, fast room cleaning. Breakfast was fantastic and included tax and gratuity -- don't miss it at Hydra! Dividend floor was well worth it. No view from room, but front desk warned us and said it would be quieter :-) mostly true except for leaf blower one morning. What else? Great location, good gym, roomy room, nice bathroom. We'll stay there again.
