Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of exceptional.

We especially enjoyed lounging by the rooftop pool and relaxing at the St. James Spa.

The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to caring for their guests.

The room, amenities, and overall atmosphere were elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully considered.

The highlight of our stay was an unforgettable dining experience at Maison Boulud—every dish a culinary delight.

We had an extraordinary experience in January and I've been meaning to write a review ever since. We'd just gotten some incredibly good and hopeful health news - so as we walked up to the host stand of the Lounge, just inside the door, and I was crying. (I hadn't intended it to work out that way - but that's how things unfolded.) There was a lovely blonde woman working the host desk who was incredibly kind and thoughtful and caring, going out of her way to take care of us and make us feel comfortable. I wanted to thank her again for being such a lovely human - but the next time we were in the city but she was not there. We have been back two or three times since and not seen her. But we will always be grateful to her - and to The Ritz for having such lovely staff. It was a big time for us - and we will always remember that night. Thank you!

I would give this hotel 4 stars. Overall, everything was very good and I really enjoyed my stay.

The teams are, in general, extremely kind, welcoming, and professional, which makes a real difference. You immediately feel well taken care of.

The rooms are lovely, modern, and very comfortable. A special mention for the bathroom: the shower turns into a hammam, which is incredibly pleasant and a real plus after a long day. The gym is also very well equipped and easy to access.

The only disappointing point was the spa. While the welcome was very good, the massage itself was unfortunately not up to the level of the hotel. It felt more like being patted and shaken than actually massaged, which was quite frustrating.

That being said, I would happily return to the hotel without hesitation just not to the spa.

An absolutely unforgettable experience. Afternoon High Tea was perfection from A to Z. The food was exquisite, the tea selection outstanding, the service impeccable, and the décor simply stunning. We even arrived earlier than our reservation time, and they graciously seated us without any issue. Every detail was thoughtful and elegant, making the entire experience feel truly special. An insane experience in the best possible way. Worth every moment. Highly recommend!

Stayed for 3 nights with the family. Veronica and Arlene were so sweet and went above and beyond to recognize my young son’s birthday and make him feel extra special. Even prior to our trip, Veronica and the guest relations team reached out to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel staff in general are very warm and welcoming and make the effort to engage with guests in every interaction.
The rooms were lovely and spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurants are fantastic and gym is well equipped.
Highly recommend for a wonderful stay in Montreal.

The oldest existing Ritz-Carlton, it boasts a unique brand identity. The lobby is decorated in a classic and elegant style, while the rooms are luxurious. I highly recommend the restaurant on the first floor; the ambiance is elegant and the food is delicious.

The service was excellent. During my birthday stay, they provided a complimentary apple drink and some simple decorative items.

I had two perfect nights at the historic Ritz-Carlton Montreal. The hotel itself is like a living museum, steeped in history. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and patient, making me feel right at home. Breakfast was served at Maison Boulud on the ground floor, with beautiful views of the distinctive gardens. The service was impeccable, and the extensive and delicious buffet selection invigorated me every day. A highly recommended luxury experience.

My mom and I had high tea at the Ritz! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the staff was excited to welcome us. We got a little lesson on the history and significance of the hotel. The high tea service was excellent! The food was excellent as well as the teas! Definitely a must do!

Fantastic place. Best breakfast every had in my life. Went three mornings in a row. Always got the Yolk around the Clock with an extra order of potatoes. The servers were very friendly. 12/10 would go again if I lived here.

We enjoyed our visit to Eggspectations, however I don't think we'll be coming back.
I ordered my eggs to be cooked sunny side up but they arrived half raw, my husband found a hair on his fruit and then they got the bill wrong. Although we pointed all those things out to them in a very friendly manner, they didn't make any amends. (I've worked in customer service all my life, making amends should be the first thing you do when a customer points out shortcomings.)
On the plus side, the smoothies tasted amazing and the staff was very friendly and efficient.

Love going here! A great place to grab breakfast and coffee! A great selection of food that is always tasty! Service could be a bit quicker and the servers don't tend to stop by very often, but the food is great and makes it worth the wait. An honest 4 stars, would be 5 if they improved on service. Definitely do give this place a try when you are in Montreal!

I have come many times and although the servers and waiters are always beyond warm and hospitable, the only problem I can mention here is on two separate occasions after requesting no cheese for my plates, I received cheese anyway twice. Other then this, the place is great! Large portions, good service, clean restaurant.

Fantastic environment, great food. I've been coming here since i was a toddler. My parents loved the place because it is loud, and sound doesn't travel. You need not worry about a crying toddler or baby because the noise simply won't travel far beyond your table or booth. This means that you're less of a nuisance to the other patrons. It's a little pricey, but is great. It gets busy fast, so show up early (9am) on weekends.

Meat was excessively salty but service was good and the sides were really delicious. Was pretty put off by the scantily clad dancer asking my boyfriend (and only my boyfriend, not me) if he wants to dance on our anniversary dinner. Not cool. We sat by the window and I was so cold I had to put my coat on in the middle of my meal. Staff saw this and said nothing and did not offer to move us somewhere warmer. Invest in better heating solutions.

The service was not great. The food was over salted. The gentlemen serving the meat was very nice and so was the hostess but other than that I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Especially when the waiter thinks it's appropriate to tell you they don't appreciate sarcasm. It's too bad I was being honest and not sarcastic at all. Terrible experience. Don't waste your money. Take it elsewhere.

Would give a 0 Star but it’s not possible. The service is okay and the servers want to do what the customers want but are not allowed. Meat is tough, dry, and not fresh. Salad and side dishes are not existent.

Apart from being way over priced for the portions they serve, the food will make you sick for sure. Even though the service and ambience is good, I wouldn't suggest this place because the authenticity of this restaurant is questionable.

Food Makes you sick;
Get ready to have a stomach ache of your life
(probably frozen curries, reused buffet curries or low quality ingredients).

Overpriced to the core.
'Indian Food' scene sucks in Montreal and this restaurant fares in the bottom rung.

The only good thing is the old world ambience , the location and chance to try local Indian beer ( which was sadly unavailable at the time I went)

I went there with my sister and my cousin the food was amazing! The employees were very nice and they made sure everything was ok. The atmosphere was different from other Indian restaurants which we enjoyed! A calm happy place! Totally recommend this place !

AWESOME food and very accommodating staff. We were very hungry, we wanted something indian for our accompanying elders and it was late night where almost everything was on closing edge so nobody was kind of welcoming anyone but then this great place we noticed which was also closing DEVI which not just welcomed us but fed us with their exquisite food. It is located in downtown Montreal and a must visit restaurant. i would like to give my gratitude to this splendid restaurant and affable staff. we loved your food and hospitality. Thank you guys!!!!
