It cost ¥5,000 per room per night, and it felt about right for the price. It wasn't bad.
The hotel is called Meiyuan Hotel, but the main gate says "Jin Tai Zhi Jia." Please keep this in mind when looking for the hotel.
The location is a 15-minute walk from Xizhimen subway station, or you can take a bus from Xizhimen and get off at Beijing Jiaotong University (two stops away), then it's about a 3-minute walk. I recommend taking the bus, as it costs only 1 yuan with an iPacard.
There are many inexpensive Chinese restaurants in the area, probably because of the university, so you won't have any trouble finding food.
