Ibis Tiananmen Square Hotel in Beijing

Stayed at the Ibis Beijing Qianmen Hotel and it was an excellent base for exploring Beijing.

The biggest advantage is the location. The hotel is just a short walk from Qianmen Street (前门大街), Dashilan (大栅栏), and Tiananmen Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. There are countless restaurants, snack stalls, shops, and historic streets nearby, so you can easily spend days exploring the area on foot.

The room was surprisingly modern, clean, and felt quite new. Everything was well maintained, and the bed was comfortable after long days of walking around Beijing. One unexpected highlight was the bathroom. The toilet was exceptionally powerful and even had built-in lighting, which was a nice touch during the night.

The breakfast exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of choices, including rice, noodles, dumplings, eggs, salads, and other Chinese and Western options. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the city.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel felt safe, organized, and offered excellent value for money.

What I appreciated most was being able to walk straight from the hotel into one of Beijing’s most historic and vibrant districts. Whether visiting Tiananmen Square, the National Museum of China, Dashilan, or simply wandering around Qianmen Street in the evening, the location is hard to beat.

Overall, a fantastic choice for travellers looking for a clean, modern, comfortable hotel in a prime location without spending a fortune.

I had a very pleasant stay at this Hotel. Everything was good — the room was clean, the location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is well-located in Dashilan, a place with a lot of good food! The street is very busy outside, but never had a problem with noise during my stay. It was also easy to find and located near Qianmen Station. The room is always clean although the space might be limited if you have a large luggage.

Overall, the stay was great. Lots of eateries and shopping in the area. Nice location. Hotel staff was very supportive

The hotel is clean and strategically located in the heart of the tourist area, making it very convenient to walk to major attractions. Nearby, you can explore local delicacies such as the famous Beijing roasted duck and infamous fermented bean soup. You’ll also find traditional silver-making shops and plenty of souvenir stalls.

Great location, very central and everything is at walking distance. Staff was very kind and friendly and they even provided me a small gift for my birthday. Thank you so much guys, it was a lovely stay!!!

As it is located in a pedestrian road, it is not possible to take a car and it takes a few minutes to walk to find a hotel, but it is a very quiet hotel located in a bustling commercial area. Rooms are clean and well equipped, typical ibis. There is so much to see nearby within walking distance.

Even though the check-in was quite time-consuming, the receptionists and the hotel in general was really good, especially the price and location taken into account
