Will stay again...
The hotel courtyard is clean and tidy, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, refilling my hot water for me several times. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's decent. There were a lot of international guests staying here. Overall, it was a positive experience and I'd recommend it. I'll definitely be back!
P.S. For a shortcut, turn right out of the hotel and walk through the alley to the Beijing Working People's Cultural Palace (2 RMB admission) which leads directly to the Forbidden City. It's quicker and less crowded than the main routes.
