A quintessential old Beijing courtyard house with relatively complete facilities. You can pet cats, and there's a courtyard and a rooftop perfect for drinks and good conversations. It's conveniently located, with snacks and bars just a few steps away. The female front desk staff was very nice.

A very cute and atmospheric hotel. The bed sheets were super clean and nice. Friendly owners, close to the metro and small shops. I stayed here with my 8-year-old, and she absolutely loved the cats and parrots. Highly recommend!

Staff was the best ever. Especially, the lady in the morning of 18/8/2026, I checked in. I don't remember her name. I had troubles with the Chinese payment applications, they did not work and she was with me for 2 hours to set up the WeChat application. And she was also eager to lend me some Chinese money, so as to have at least some cash with me.
The room was excellent and the hotel also had a traditional atmosphere. It is also nice to explore the surrounding hutong area. Nearby, there are many quality restaurants.

A very unique hotel located in an old Beijing hutong. The room was clean and the decor was charming. The staff were warm and responsible, and the cats were lovely too. There's also a self-service laundry room. I stayed for ten days on this trip to Beijing and had a fantastic experience!

Extremely satisfied! The quadrangle courtyard offers a very quiet stay, truly capturing the essence of Beijing. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Plus, you can pet cats here, and their owner is beautiful and kind. All the cats here are absolutely gorgeous!

The room size was incredibly small.

There were two major issues that were quite alarming:
1. The shower water temperature was very difficult to adjust. It would suddenly turn scalding hot, and my child got burned, even on their hands. This is because the entire showerhead is made of copper, which transfers heat very quickly.
2. A very large cockroach suddenly crawled out in the already cramped space! This was even more unacceptable! It scared me so much that I froze.

The platform helped me negotiate a refund of half the cost, but the hotel's attitude was still very uncooperative. I cannot commend such service. I have already taken photos.

This hotel is fantastic, with the only minor drawback being its location in a very narrow alley, which always makes me a little nervous for the taxi drivers. The environment is absolutely wonderful and comfortable. The owner takes great care of the adorable cats, and the plants are all lush and green, clearly a labor of love. Given that it was peak summer and mosquito season, mosquito repellent was thoughtfully placed everywhere, and lighting up moxa at night felt incredibly soothing. The room itself was also very comfortable. The location is actually quite good, not far from the Forbidden City, Shichahai, and Nanluoguxiang.

The location is great and walking distance to the metro station. I wanted to experience the old courtyard house in Beijing and I did it! The only mistake was that I should pick a newer one. This one is a bit old and run down (2018). We had to call twice for the toilet issue and there were only two washing machines (one dry&wash and another wash-only). But the service was great and the cats too!

Hygiene: Clean and tidy, great value for money, especially for Beijing.
Environment: The Siheyuan (courtyard house) is beautiful and offers a wonderful experience.
