We stayed in a riverview room, could see the Pearl River (珠江) and Canton Tower (广州塔) afar directly from our window. We really liked the riverview, although the window was a bit stained.
Location is fantastic and getting there is simple. Take exit F from the Haizhu Square (海珠广场站) metro station for direct and easy access. Not only is this the nearest exit, but the escalators make it so much easier if you have luggage. The hotel is just a short 4-minute walk from there.
It’s also incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Not only Haizhu Square Metro Station (海珠广场站) is at the Intersection of Line 2 (二号线) and Line 6 (六号线), it is just 1 station away from Beijing Road metro station (北京路站). The Sacred Heart Cathedral (石室圣心大教堂) is also nearby, just about a 15-minute walk away.
Nearby there is some great food options that highly rated by the locals, such as Xia Jiao Mei (虾饺妹 (海珠广场店)) and Dian Du De (点都德 (星寰国际商业中心)), both of these dim sum restaurants are populated by the locals.
Service was helpful and smooth throughout our stay. One quick tip for anyone staying here: if you are getting online shopping delivered to the hotel, do ensure the recipient name is exactly as per the name used for your hotel booking.
Overall, a very comfortable stay in a great spot.
The location is everything, malls are nearby river view, Beijing Road isn't a far wall, lots and lots of shopping and food around.
The rooms are good and spacious.
Especially enjoyed the layout of the shower and bath tub so I can shower and watch my child take a bath.
The location couldn’t be more convenient. The river is just a 3-minute walk away, and the nearest mall is about 10 minutes on foot. If you’re up for it, you can even walk to the iconic Canton Tower, which makes exploring the area incredibly easy.
I also ordered fried rice and vegetables during my stay—simple, but absolutely delicious.
I’m giving the Landmark a perfect 10/10. A special thank you to Cindy at the front desk for making the experience even more memorable. I’ll definitely be back.

We had a pleasant stay at Guangzhou Landmark Hotel. The room and public areas were clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
Would like to comment:
1. The male staff who helped us check in (24/01/26 ard 2pm) was friendly and efficient.
2. The housekeeping lady for our rooms (2709, 2710. & 2711) was attentive and kept the rooms spotless.
3. Special thanks to the proactive Guest Service Manager, Ms Fu Dongdong Candy 付东东, for her excellent and professionalism service. She helped us resolving an airport taxi issue and ensured the matter was handled smoothly. She also went above to help us booked a reliable 9-seater van with a polite driver for our return airport transfer. She is truly an assist to the hotel.
The only setback was the ongoing renovation work at the convention hall, which generated some noise from early morning until night.
Overall the hotel demonstrated high standard of service and cleanliness, and we would gladly recommend it.
