The entire room smelled musty, and the air conditioner was blowing out a musty odor as well.

The room was surprisingly spacious for a city center location. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. There was a pleasant surprise in the fridge! Full marks for that. No unpleasant smells, and excellent soundproofing.

yet situated nicely with the train network.

Surrounded by local restaurants and night streets/markets.

Value for money suites.

upgrade our room with kitchen, it was fantastic expereince. the girl have so much fun staying in this hotel. the japanese bath tub was very nice and comfy. everything is just excellent. will come back again 100%. thanks for the kind receptionist.

The hotel environment is really good, and the facilities and cleanliness are excellent, making it very suitable for business trips or leisure travel. The memory foam pillow was incredibly comfortable; I even took a picture to find the same model. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Shenzhen.

I genuinely recommend the Guangdong Hotel Shenzhen. It's in a prime spot in Luohu, super convenient for walking to Guomao and Dongmen, and close to the Luohu Port. The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was comfortable, and facilities like the smart toilet and laundry room were all available. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer questions. They even offer free parking with EV charging stations. With access to Metro Lines 1, 2, 3, and 9, it's perfect for both business trips and tourism. Excellent value for money!

The mini-fridge in the room had small drinks and snacks, which the kids loved. The Western restaurant offered free-flow coffee, and front desk staffer Xiao Shi helped us with travel routes, saving us the hassle of transferring. Happy New Year!

Rooms good enough for the price, staff generally didn't speak that much English (1/3 we dealt with could speak well).

Location great once we found it - from exit C you turn right then right again until you find the outside desk of the hotel. Also better to use that entrance for the metro rather than the one next to the desk (which leads you into a maze of shops and stalls).

To check in you have to go to the desk outside then take your receipt to 20th floor to collect keycard. Also any problems (such as keycard not working) you have to go back down to the desk which is a pain.
