The staff were very friendly and responsive, quickly resolving any issues we had. The room facilities were well-maintained, and the room itself was spacious. The twin room even offered two different bed sizes. Plus, it's conveniently located near a subway station.

Holiday Inn Donghua Shenzhen was one of the best hotels I have already been to. Specially when it comes to facilities like gym (it has an amazing training centre), laundry 24/7 included and easy to use, breakfast amazing with high variety. Besides, it’s basically in front of Nanshan Book Mall station and also its location is well served.

Stayed at Holiday Inn again, and as before, my room was upgraded. It felt like coming home. They've updated the toilets to smart ones, and they even offered complimentary traditional Chinese soup in the evening. Breakfast was good too, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Because of this, I extended my stay for another night in the same room.

The lady at the front desk was so kind and beautiful; she upgraded my room for free. The environment is quiet, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

The front desk upgraded my room type. The hotel has been open for quite a while, but you can tell the owner puts a lot of effort into maintaining it; everything is excellent. The delivery robot brought my takeout right up to the room. The subway station is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to Futian. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

The hotel was great. Since I arrived quite late, the front desk upgraded my room. It was very quiet, and the soundproofing was pretty good. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. It's also conveniently located with plenty of dining options nearby.

A great Holiday Inn with excellent and polite service, and the breakfast was superb. They have a laundry room and a very large gym. I stayed for five consecutive days and was very satisfied. The only downsides were that one elevator was out of order during my stay, leaving only two elevators for the entire 28-story hotel, which meant very long waits. Also, the water in the pool at the affiliated gym was quite murky. If I have the chance to visit again, I would still choose to stay here.

Pros: Excellent location, clean showers, and a very good breakfast. Huge gym.
Cons: The "heated" pool is actually an off-site partner facility and it was not heated. My kids only stayed about 10 mins and start to shiver. We were disappointed to find we had to leave the hotel and cross a street (or use the 3rd-floor bridge) in robes and slippers to access it. The service at the pool was poor, with an unfriendly lifeguard. They have strict swim cap rules so must bring swim cap.
Summary: Good for a stay-and-eat experience, but I would not recommend this hotel if you are booking specifically for the swimming facilities. (Which was the main reason for us to chose this hotel)

The hotel's location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside the door. There are also shopping malls nearby, so all your dining and shopping needs are covered. The service is excellent, both at the front desk and with the housekeeping staff. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the view towards Tencent Tower from one side is fantastic. I've stayed here several times already and highly recommend it! 😄😄😄
