This is an older state guesthouse, and the location is decent. I arrived around 11 AM. Even though Ctrip showed plenty of available rooms, the front desk insisted I couldn't check in until 2 PM. I booked a room in the Diecui Building, which isn't lakeside. The room they assigned me was near the children's playground, so it was quite noisy. I wasn't thrilled with the room layout; the facilities are dated. There's no partition between the room and the bathroom, so the sound of washing disturbed my family. The shower also lacks a door, making it a bit cold, and the drainage was very slow, causing water to overflow and flood the floor after showering.

The room design is very good, and the center counter at the entrance is convenient for washing hands. The hotel environment is good, with a lake in front and a mountain behind. It's just not as big as imagined. The service is still very good. The restaurant front desk is very hospitable, and the noodles are really delicious.

I booked a garden view room at Dongshan Hotel. In the afternoon, I went to the front desk to upgrade it to a mountain view room for free. I am very grateful to the front desk lady and the handsome guy in the lobby for leading us back to the room. I didn't expect that there were two 1.5-meter beds in the room, and the space was also very large. They introduced the hotel's facilities and equipment to us. There is also a Taihu Lounge Bar in the second area across the road where you can drink coffee and tea. It is very comfortable and a very satisfactory stay. I will come again next time

Su-style Aozao Noodle Set Meal: The hotel service attitude is good. The sewer was blocked when taking a shower at night. The waiter came to the room and took off his socks and took out the hair barefoot. The room was clean and newly decorated. There was a balcony and the air around the mountain was good. The set meal was also good.

The room was a little hot and the air conditioner didn't cool. The hotel has a great view and a great location. It will be better next time when the rooms in Phase 2 and Phase 3 are open. Everything else is satisfactory. The Su-style Aozao noodle set meal in the restaurant on the first floor: delicious, good service, and delicious steamed white water fish. Friends are full of praise.

As always, I choose the Diecui Building of Dongshan Hotel out of trust and feeling. The elegant and warm service, the enjoyment of first-class facilities, the garden-like environment, the warm and homely dining, and the beautiful scenery next to Qiyuan are worth visiting again.

The hotel is opposite Qiyuan, the service is very good, breakfast is provided, and there is Suzhou Pingtan in the Chinese restaurant in the evening. The facilities are relatively new. It is very comfortable to walk on the mountain in the morning. The room is quiet and convenient.

The geographical environment is very good. There are lush plants outside the balcony, and you can enjoy the mountain view in the room.
The room should have been partially renovated. The walls, doors, and wash basin are relatively new, the carpet is relatively old, and the curtains should also be original.
The service is OK, and they greet you with a smile.
There are few types of breakfast and the quality is average.
Because it rained, we also had lunch in the hotel. Like breakfast, it was also average, not at the level of the State Guest House.
They also gave us tickets to the Carved Building, which is worth it.
