GYA HOTEL in Suzhou

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've been traveling for over a decade. The service is absolutely terrible! I checked in a little after midnight and asked the front desk if the soundproofing was good. They said they'd put me in a quiet room. After showering, the hairdryer broke when I tried to dry my hair. I called the front desk, and they sent a security guard with a tiny hairdryer that looked like it was for a child. The window in my room was blocked by a wall, and I initially thought the soundproofing would be good. It's gotten colder, and I'm prone to catching colds, so I didn't dare turn on the AC or open the window. Then, around 5 AM, I was woken up by noise: tables and chairs being moved, doors slamming, people talking, and water running through pipes. My head completely exploded. I only got about four hours of sleep and felt terrible, like I'd immediately caught a cold – headache, sneezing, runny nose. Around 7 AM, I contacted the hotel customer service to report the situation and asked for a satisfactory response, but all they said was "sorry" and offered nothing else. I then reported this to Ctrip, and their customer service spoke with the hotel. The only thing they offered was a late checkout, which was already included in my booking. The hotel manager even told the Ctrip representative to let the guest complain all they want, or even take them to court. I'm literally speechless. How is this any different from staying in a shady establishment? I hope everyone avoids this place!!!
