The room was spacious and cleaned meticulously every day! We received several bottles of mineral water daily, and the staff were all very polite! Special thanks to Xiao Guo, the free tour guide in the garden, whose explanations were thorough and insightful! We even received sachets as a gift!

The breakfast was excellent, not only for its wide variety but also for how delicious everything was. The surrounding landscape was beautiful too, giving you the feeling of dining in a Suzhou garden. Taking a stroll around the hotel, you could really feel its rich historical atmosphere.

Twenty years ago, I stayed at the Nanyuan Hotel for the first time in Suzhou and had a great impression. This time, I chose it again when I revisited Suzhou, and overall, it was still pretty good. The service is still warm and the environment is still beautiful, but the aging facilities led to an unsatisfactory experience. The socket cover was missing, the bathroom glass door didn't seal properly, causing shower water to spill into the dry area, and the toilet was still a traditional one, not a smart toilet. All of these need to be upgraded as soon as possible.

This was my second stay at the Nanyuan Hotel, and the experience keeps getting better. This time, I stayed in a Fragrance Twin Room in the main building, which was very convenient for dining and getting around. The hotel has several historical sites and has hosted many famous figures, with dedicated guides giving tours daily. The excellent service, especially regarding the external environment, goes without saying. The gentleman at the front desk, Mr. Xie, was very patient and solved our problems to my complete satisfaction. Li Mengyao, who escorted us to our room, was very enthusiastic, constantly asking if we needed anything else, and she even helped us with our luggage, which was great! Finally, I must commend Xiao Ting. Not only was her tour of the park excellent, but when we left a pair of trousers behind, she contacted us immediately and arranged for them to be mailed to us! My husband also left his clothes in the restaurant, and they were proactively kept at the front desk. In summary, this stay left a deep impression on me due to the exceptional service! Nanyuan Hotel truly excels in both its hardware and software!

This is an older five-star hotel with beautiful gardens. The hotel's overall environment is excellent, and the service is great. The breakfast was also very good, and my family loved it! Both the elderly and children were very satisfied, and it's also very convenient for getting around!

The front desk staff upgraded our room for free. The toiletries were L'Occitane, and the room was spacious with new facilities, including a separate toilet, shower, and a bathtub. Free parking was a bonus, and we received complimentary fruit through our Ctrip booking. Very satisfied! It's also just a few minutes' walk to the Master of the Nets Garden and Tongde Hsing Noodle House.

The hotel boasts a tranquil and elegant ambiance, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The garden views are charmingly antique and refined, exuding a distinct Suzhou charm, with exquisite details and serenity everywhere you look. The service is also very attentive; the staff are friendly and courteous, making you feel right at home. Overall, the stay was extremely comfortable and pleasant, leaving a lasting impression. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Suzhou!

The hotel's location is excellent. The atmosphere and space of the Inno hotel building are modern and elegant, feeling very new and comfortable. The window view is beautiful, and the service is also good. It was a bit strange to see a bathtub right at the entrance. I'd suggest adding a full-length mirror in the room. Overall, I would choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel service was excellent. The greeters at the entrance proactively helped with luggage and greeted us every time we entered or left. Room service was also quite responsive. Nanyuan Hotel itself is a scenic spot, and guests can book a guided tour. Guo Qingna, the staff member who led our tour, was very enthusiastic and even helped us with our luggage when we left. Xiao Yi, who drove the shuttle, was also great; when we were too tired to walk back to the hotel at night, he picked us up directly at the entrance and drove us to our building. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old. The bathroom and hallway have concrete floors that are a bit patchy, and there's no wardrobe, which was a bit inconvenient when staying with family.

My child is a senior in college, and the last time I dropped them off was freshman year. Thinking there might not be another chance, our whole family decided to come this time. We booked the Xiangqu Family Room, which included 3 breakfasts – and the breakfast is definitely worth a special mention.
Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. We'd previously stayed at Nanlin Hotel, and compared to that, Nanyuan Hotel feels more refined. It also has a good number of historical and cultural relics.
Of course, the happiest moment was riding on the back of a scooter through Shiquan Street with my son, and then heading to Fengmen Market. We bought a bunch of food before heading back.
I wish everyone a bright future.
