The hotel's location is fantastic – really convenient for shopping, taking the subway, and the ferry. It even has direct access to IFC. Before we checked out, they surprised my child with a birthday cake. The sea view from our room was also lovely, and the hotel service was excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied.

The room was nice and the service was attentive, but the facilities are a bit old. One of the sinks in the bathroom was a little clogged, and I assume the hotel knows about it but hasn't fixed it. Good thing I was alone, so it wasn't a big problem.

The sea view room at Four Seasons was pretty good and quiet. I booked three nights and found their service to be quite mediocre. This time at the Four Seasons Hong Kong, I experienced it during a typhoon with strong winds. For two days, I watched the huge waves from my window. Despite the stormy weather, my stay at the Four Seasons was still very comfortable. The facilities are a bit older, as it's a 20-year-old hotel, but I got an upgraded room, which was great, and I had a sea view.

The front desk staff were quite friendly and had a good attitude. The room was relatively clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure, making for a very comfortable shower experience. Most of the rooms are connecting rooms, meaning there's an extra door between them, and the soundproofing is a bit lacking. We switched to a standalone room later, but it was near the elevator, and the elevator's operating noise was quite significant.

I have stayed here many times, roughly once a year. The location is excellent, but the hotel is very tired and in need of updating. This time the toilets wouldn't work for a full day, and the hotel did nothing to warn us or provide status updates. There wasn't an apology even, or any compensation. It's time to look at other, newer options.

The hotel was good but there was a 1000 HKD deposit charge on my credit card that was only returned after i emailed the hotel about it, the whole process took 3 weeks. For me it was a bit inconvenient since im used to received deposit upon check out.

A nice hotel with very spacious rooms. We stayed in the family suite with two people, and there was an excess amount of space. Love that they have local coffee for the Nespresso machine that is included in the room.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making my stay very enjoyable. What really stood out, however, was the staff—they were efficient and friendly. However, I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee machine. It just wouldn't turn on. The room didn't have a hair dryer or toothbrush, which was a bit inconvenient.

Enjoyed staying at the Pottinger Hotel in HK and my office at the Center was a short walk from here. It is all about the location here. The hotel is a boutique hotel and very tastefully kept and decorated. Will be back again whenever I get back to HK again.

We enjoyed our 8 days at The Pottinger. The hotel is conveniently located in Central, so very close to all travel options, including the Mid Level Travellators. Brilliant little artsy boutique hotel in central Hong Kong. Staff were friendly and the reception and common areas were not only beautiful but smelt amazing! The room was spacious and had plenty of storage. The room had blackout blinds and the bed was very comfortable! The only drawback was no safe in the room for personal items, but it’s a small problem. Also after check out being able to store luggage, come back to change clothes and have access to a space to do a quick call is perfect and not easy in HK.  Fully recommend. This hotel offers great value for its price! The location is excellent, with a 7-Eleven and Sheung Wan MTR station right downstairs, which is super convenient. I requested a quiet room and was given a high-floor room. Although the room wasn't big, it was perfectly fine for a solo business trip. We stayed here for one night on 6th August 2025. The only real advantage was the convenient location and the relatively cheaper price. Apart from that, the experience was not very impressive. The furniture felt quite old, the room was small and cramped, and overall it wasn’t very comfortable. On the positive side, the washroom worked well, but otherwise the stay did not meet expectations.

Amazing location, very close to the central/midlevel escalators and all the great bars and restaurants in the area. Room is spacious and there is a lot of storage space for clothes and luggages.
