Hotels near Rybatskaya Derevnya Tay O in Hong Kong

This is my third stay at this hotel, and each experience has been consistently satisfying. The hotel's environment is peaceful and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. The food is always fresh, delicious, and offers a great variety, never disappointing me. The staff are attentive and friendly, making the entire stay even more pleasant and worry-free. I really appreciate the quality and warm hospitality...

This retro hotel, converted from a century-old police station, boasts unbeatable sea views of Tai O Fishing Village. The sunset is stunning; you can quietly soak in the orange hues of the sea as the sun dips below the horizon, with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge visible in the distance.

Because it's close to the sea, the dehumidifier in the room was on for too long, making the room too dry, which made me feel very uncomfortable! This time, there was rat droppings on the table in my room, but the hotel explained it was lizard droppings. At first, they just offered to have a staff member clean it up, which we accepted. However, we repeatedly expressed our concern about seeing small...

Beautiful place, perfect to rest and relax in a historical building. Perfect breakfast

Heritage building overlooking the sea. It comes with pros and cons. It's not perfectly neat and clean and it would require a major renovation to full demonstrate the potential of this building and location. We knew it so no issue. We felt privileged since there is less than 10 rooms. We had a good breakfast (nothing fancy but very decent) with nice pleasant taking care of us. The only complain is coming...

Unit experience for a heritage hotel history and Good view! The interior design is classic!

This is not the first time I stayed at this hostel. Generally speaking, it is a good choice if you are hiking or camping. It’s just that I came to Tung Chung too late after work, so I was very scared when I entered the small path. There were abandoned houses, crows and bats. I ran away. Hahahaha, so it’s better to travel with friends. I will come again next time.

Depends on your purpose for visiting this area, you may or may not find this hostel convenient. I chose this hostel solely because I planned to check out Tai O and do an early morning hike up Lantau Peak. There’s actually not much in the area except the Giant Buddha, the beautiful monastery, and the Wisdom Path if you choose to include it. This is the only hotel/hostel in the area. There’s no supermarket...

We stayed in the tent for three nights. Upon arrival we had contact via a text message, since no one would be there to welcome us. We had to make the beds ourselves. We weren’t really sure if the bathroom was cleaned during our stay. The sinks were dirty and crusty. Some positive things: the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and everything you need to cook. The common room is basic, but nice...

Tung Chung - 2 nights - private double room Expectation/Reality: this is the only provider of accommodation in the area so expectations need to be managed. They have the ability to essentially set terms, so the negative reviews here are likely from the folks who didn’t read the find print. The photos match the space very well. However the hostel reached out over what’s app a number of days before...

We had an enjoyable stay. Great location for hiking and sightseeing, very peaceful setting, lovely views of Lantau Peak and close to the Big Buddha, the chairlift and good bus connections to all over Lantau Island. The buildings have seen better days, as you expect at a youth hostel, but the showers are hot and effective, the kitchen and BBQ facilities are good and the bed is comfortable. The manager...

Good location for hiking, with self catering facilities. Nice views from the property

The room is very small but clean. Great location near the airport and bus station.

Exceptionally clean with basic amenities and free teabags. 12-min walk to the bus station that connects to Tung Chung Station. Host provided detailed instructions for arrival and sightseeing options. didn't explore since my partner couldn't come to Hong Kong due to his mum having succumbed. just passed the free cancellation period. advise choosing 'pay at hotel' if needed.

The environment is very good, a good place

It is located in the mountains and has a very nice owner. that day. We had to go very deep to reach our destination.

The room is clean and tidy, and the starry sky on the rooftop brings a unique experience.

Close to the airport, the surrounding environment is very quiet, suitable for resting, and you can also take a walk around the area

For our two-day stopover in Hong Kong, we chose the Novotel Citygate due to its proximity to the airport. The location is excellent—it is practically built into a shopping mall with tons of restaurants and shops, it takes just 30 minutes by MTR to Central, and it is right next to the cable car for the Big Buddha. We booked two rooms for a family with two teenagers and got them on the floor right next...

It was ou 1st time in HongKong and our 1st out of the country vacation as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). We had an amazing 5 days stay at Novotel. Grima from the reception warmly welcomed us with a room upgrade since it was our 1st time. Tommy and Mark were awesome in providing directions on how to reach a certain place. Aside from awesome staff, it is near the MTR and bus station with lots...

We had a wonderful 5-day, 4-night stay at Novotel Citygate Hong Kong in Tung Chung as a family of six, including a senior and a child last May 9 - May 13, 2026. The location was excellent, with easy access to major attractions like Disneyland (one MTR away) , Ngong Ping 360, the Big Buddha, Macau Bus Terminal, and Hong Kong city center. The complimentary airport shuttle was also a huge plus, making...

I stayed in room 1133 for 2 nights from 17 - 19 April 2026. I was pleasantly surprises when I saw the room, because I expected a 2 star hotel room, but found a 4 star room. Johnny at Reception checked me in very professionally and the ladies from Housekeeping took good care of my room. Water was provid in carton containers. The hotel is situated inside a huge and modetn shopping centre and is a few...

We had a lovely stay at Novotel Citygate Hong Kong and would definitely recommend it—especially for convenience and accessibility. The location is a huge plus. It’s very close to the airport and Hong Kong Disneyland, and just a few minutes away from Ngong Ping 360, which made exploring super easy. The hotel also offers a free airport shuttle, which was incredibly helpful for our trip. Another thing...

Connivence for those are visit HK for Disneyland and Nong ping 360, nice stay and friendly staffs, only one thing why door sooooo heavy!!

Had an overnight transit and this hotel is the most convenient there is. Attached directly to the airport, only a 5 mins walk through the covered walkway. Being linked to the airport, it was actually very convenient to head into hongkong too via the train. Check in was quick and easy but do I could see that people come in waves so if you're unlucky you might end up behind a long line but it's an airport...

We recently had a 15 hour layover in HK and booked a room for day use. It is attached to the airport and very easy to find. It was nice to have a place to recharge, shower after heading into Hong Kong for some quick sightseeing.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay before or after a flight! The location is unbeatable, with direct access to the airport terminal, making travel incredibly convenient. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the airport. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The dinner offered a great variety of delicious options...

Had a wonderful stay at the Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong. Its greatest advantage is its location, with direct access to the airport, making it incredibly convenient for travellers with early flights. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a quiet and relaxing environment despite being so close to the airport. The staff, especially Sir Neil, were courteous, professional, and always...

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The hotel staff were friendly and always smiling, and they were quick to offer prompt assistance whenever we needed help. Special thanks to Michael, Thomas, Martin and Bary. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the airport view. Overall, it was a great experience for our family, we would definitely return.

When you walk into the lobby you're astounded by the richness of it. It's shiny and modern and lovely. Everyone is professional and friendly, and you're literally attached to the airport, so all your anxiety melts away knowing you'll get there on time. You go up the elevator to your floor and the musty smell of mildew slaps you in the nose. You push your luggage through deep pile carpet, trying not...

everything was great and I’d recommend it, especially for those catching flights or looking for a peaceful stay near the airport.

nice location, shuttle bus is very convenient to airport and Dong Chung MRT station.

I can't find shuttle bus location on web. Could be my problem. Not food at night time. But close to airport Everything else are very good.

We had great experience staying at Sky City Marriott! We were running late returning to the hotel as the traffic was bad with the heavy rain. The hotel staff were all very friendly and understood the situation and let us have a late check-out. Thank you!

No issues, great solution to a **** day when we just needed somewhere to crash for the night so we could recoup

This is a perfect hotel for attending concerts. There's a direct, covered walkway from the Airport Express station right to the hotel. The cleanliness was excellent. I'd recommend having breakfast at the hotel, as the Starbucks in the exhibition hall doesn't open in the mornings. The door staff, especially the bellboys, were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting with luggage and even communicating...

very good experience, I found the staff to be lovely and caring,

Positives: location, clean bedsheets, clean towels Negatives: no bag checking service, COCKROACHES!!!

Very good.simple excellent clean room .i like it

Convenient location and affordable. Rooms are clean enough and the location is very close to the beach and ferry dock.

I had booked 2 night at Silverview Resort Holiday, it is 10-11 of May, I had double check the room is allow a kid（2years old） for free to stay before I made the booking. and my child is at 2 years old. but when we check in, the hotel receptionist said the room I booked is a one double room/ (1.5m wide), which can only accommodate two people, and children are not allowed to live there. He said the...

The food stall next to the hotel is great! Breakfast, lunch, breakfast is so rich! The sister of the hotel is considerate, and it is neat to pack and order food! The hotel is next to a river, there will be some mosquitoes, the boys at the front desk are very thoughtful

The place is very quiet and serene. Very provincial vibe. The rooms are okay, it’s clean. Walking distance 600m to bus terminal and Muo Ferry. The only comment I could say is that don’t checkin here if you have big luggages as they don’t have lift, neither concierge to help. You will do it all by yourself. I think that says the customer service. I don’t know, it’s just very unusual for a beach resort

Hotel staff was kind to allow us to change our lvl 3 room to lvl 1 pet friendly room since we had lots of luggage. Room was adequately clean and neat, breakfast was not bad too! Must mention the beach view my favorite part, the beach is steps away! 👍

I recently stayed at Silvermine Hotel and had a fantastic experience! The hotel is clean and comfortable, with breathtaking views from my room. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend Silvermine Hotel and look forward to returning!

Perfect Family Staycation! We had an amazing family getaway here! We stayed in a Sea View room, and waking up right next to the beach was beautiful. The room had a comfortable king-size bed that easily fit us and our daughter. The resort is exceptionally family-friendly. Our child loved playing in the sand whenever she wanted since the beach is right in front of the hotel, and she enjoyed the playground...

Our stay at Silvermine Beach Resort was truly wonderful. The place itself is so good — peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect escape from the busy city life. The staff were very accommodating, especially LV (I hope I got the name right). She assisted us smoothly when we decided to extend our booking through Agoda, and the whole process was hassle-free. We loved every moment here. The atmosphere made...

Nice for the Family. Highly recommended.

Stayed a night here, the room was tiny, but was very clean. The room came with Breakfast, which was very nice as well. The best is the people there, they were friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel in a very quiet part of town. Absolutely lovely staff. Great rooms overlooking the beach.

A very lovely stay. The staff were very friendly. The location is a bit out of the way but it’s reachable by bus and ferry, which isn’t too bad given the price I’ve got nothing to complain. Would wanna stay again

A great surprise! A small but very clean room, perfectly located. Breakfast is very good, and the staff’s service is truly exceptional. Book without hesitation.

The location is great if you want to be in peace and quiet. It is a bit of a walk from the main road and they have no elevator (they’ve mentioned it in their description) Lovely people, very friendly

Seaview resort in Mui Wo is the perfect place if you want to have a relaxing laid back stay. Simple, small rooms, but very clean and comfortable, just a few steps from the beach. Breakfast is ok, as simple as you can get but enough (toast bread, eggs, ham, coffee, tea and juice). Note:no lift if you're carrying big bags. , Difficult to get a late check out, later than 11.30,due to always having guests...
