Great Location of the hotel! Friendly staff and very fair price. The only negative I can think of, is that 3/4 elevators are just not enough for almost 30 floors of rooms!

Great view. Nice room size. No smell. Clean bedroom and staff comes to clean everyday. Check in and check out is very fast. There is a coin laundry around the corner of the hotel that I went to if I needed to wash my clothes.

Deeply moved by the service provided by the hotel concierge staff. One of the guys helped me by taking my luggage across the street to bus stop A10 when the bus arrived earlier than scheduled and I was in a hurry not to miss it.Thank you so much, man! And the same guy just gave my wife and I two cups of iced water and some tissue when we entered the hotel lobby sweating bullets. Thank you so much again...

Great water pressure and cozy room! Not a big fan of the location though.

Everything was super convenient and the stay was very comfortable.

The service was outstanding. From reception to the concierge, the service was helpful and exceptional. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and were cleaned to a high standard. The hotel is located on the island, around a 9-minute drive from central and a similar walk to MTR. I would stay here again, but I would love it to be 1km closer to the action!

Room was great, however toilet could do with a bidet spray. Location wise was not as convenient as taking uber/taxi will incur toll charges everytime you cross to the other HK island.

It was really comfortable to stay in such a spacious room on Hong Kong Island – the space was ample, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and all the facilities were well-equipped. The room was spacious and well-designed. The lovely lady at the front desk even upgraded me to a sea-view room. The hygiene was excellent, and the service was great. It's incredibly close to the MTR station; after a full day of walking, it's just a few minutes' stroll from the subway to the hotel. There are also many dim sum places nearby. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong...

When I visited Hong Kong in April, I stayed at the Rich Hotel. This time, I opted for the Empress Hotel, which is right across the street. In terms of location, it's very convenient for daily travel, right by Sai Ying Pun Station. Good location and decent cleanliness. Mattress and sheets were ok. However hot water was inconsistent, and the room felt rather stuffy / poorly ventilated due to the lack of windows. The only window was behind the bed covered by heavy curtain. Super near the tram though (in pic), which is the main mode of transport around the area.

The room size is larger than what you will find in most hongkong hotels for the same price. Despite having no windows, the air quality is quite good, and this is coming from a person who feels suffocated easily when the air is damp or contains traces of mold

I have stayed at this Hotel many times since 2002. I always feel happy to stay for a week with my wife. There are many rooms, 2 levels, a lift & stairs. Reception Staff are friendly. Free WiFi in all rooms, & Desktop Computer near Reception. Service is good & prices are low. They did some renovations the last few years. Looks even more stylish. Trains, Buses, Shopping Centre, Swimming Pools, underground...

Totally worth the money I paid for this hotel. Close to MTR and tram rout was one of the biggest plus point. Rooms are neat and clean not enough space but for a couple or single person to stay the night travel the city of HK for a reasonable price this is an ideal place. I highly recommend it for any one.

It was good. No clock in the room. 3 tv channels. Is clean. Good for a couple nights stay.
