Don't stay here. Overpriced. I stayed at 8 hotels on this trip in China, this was the worst by far. There are hotels half the price in the same city that are much better. Here's a list of issues:

- Gym is tiny and unusable, 1 weights machine that squeeks and is in poor maintenance, not safe. Treadmill unstable. Aircon broken.
- Recreation rooms (all of them) have been converted into stale smelling storage rooms, all facilities advertised are non-existent.
- Lift to recreation floor broken, take the fire stairs.
- Door man can be rude.
- First thing that greets you when you enter the room is, here are some overpriced food and drink and water on the table. Other hotels don't even charge anymore.
- Working desk for laptop doesn't have a powerpoint
- No powerpoint in living area
- A single powerpoint next to the bed, good luck if you have 2 people.
- Carpet looks old
- No heating options available, aircon only goes cold.
- Doorman terrible at directions, points me wrong way.
- Cannot print an invoice or any paperwork when taking your deposit (every hotel I've stayed at in China can at least provide me with proof I have paid).
- Service staff have no idea how to operate aircon, figure it out yourself.
- Most expensive laundry of all 8 hotels I stayed in China. Extra +15% service fee, why? then when you go pay an extra +1.5% transaction fee.
- Immediately called me down at 10pm to come pay laundry, could they really not wait till check-out next morning? Feels very stingy.
- Bathtub available but provides nothing for it.
- Hands you 2 toothbrushes on entry, feels like you are being rationed. Every other hotel replenished unlimited.

Great location in a classic Hangzhou neighborhood. It's convenient for transportation and shopping, and the room is clean and tidy.

Overall, it was better than I expected, and the location is practically unbeatable. Although it's an older hotel, honestly, the facilities aren't too dated, and there wasn't any noticeable musty smell.

**Pros:** The bathroom was a highlight—it's huge! You'd be lucky to get one with a window. The round bathtub was also a big plus. The shower area is spacious too, and the Grohe showerhead made for a really refreshing experience.

The room layout was quite reasonable, and it's clear that many of the furnishings and facilities were top-of-the-line back in the day.

The hotel service was excellent; the quality of service from this established luxury hotel hasn't diminished, and the valet parking service was spot on.

It's quite rare for an older hotel to have delivery robots, which shows they are keeping their facilities updated.

**Cons:** The mattress was too soft—the softest I've ever slept on. Perhaps soft mattresses were popular in the past, but this one offered no support at all.

Also, the toilet flush seemed a bit weak.

The soundproofing of the door seemed a bit lacking; there was even a slight draft. When the next-door room closed their door, ours would vibrate.

Overall, it's a pretty good deal on weekdays and weekends, especially for a hotel in this location. The value for money might not be as good during holidays.

If you appreciate the old-money style of established luxury hotels or enjoy taking baths, this place is perfect. However, if you're looking for modern decor and smart home features, this isn't the right fit.

The hotel's location is excellent, and it's very convenient for shopping, with a mall right downstairs. The facilities are a bit old. The price is reasonable, but the staff's service was mediocre; their communication felt a bit stiff.

Everything was great! This hotel is in a prime location within the central business district, making it super convenient to get around and find all sorts of food. It's truly the best value for money for business travelers, tourists, and families alike. I'll definitely be back soon.

Loved that the hotel is a few minutes walk to Wulin square station
Can go to 西湖 westlake or many of the night markets by bus or train in a few stops
Its a quieter place but still have convenience shop nearby.
Room is spacious and staff are friendly too!

Right outside, you have access to the Grand Canal water bus ⛴️, perfect for visiting Gongchen Bridge and strolling along the river. Who can truly understand the beauty of Jiangnan in spring rain! Hangzhou Tower is centrally located, making it convenient for going out and daily life. I'll definitely be back!

The location is unbeatable, absolutely central. You can even go shopping, and it's close to everything. The facilities are top-notch, and the environment and service standards are very good.

The room is very spacious, especially the bathroom, which faces the Grand Canal. It has a huge bathtub, and it's truly enjoyable to bathe while admiring the view. They even provide a peeler with the complimentary fruit, showing very thoughtful service. The main entrance is at the A building's entrance, featuring a creative garden that makes you feel like you've stepped into a fairytale.

Great location at Wulin Square, a long-standing four-star hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were well-equipped, though a bit dated. The internet speed was so-so. It was very hot during my two-day stay, and the air conditioning wasn't blowing cold air, but the hotel provided a fan, which I really appreciated.
