Very good hotel , breakfast and staff
Perfect location with attractions nearby in walking distance. Breakfast is good as per 4 star hotel, recommended.
room small but clean , location is very good. for 1 day stay ok
In need of refurbishment from a cosmetic perspective, as the carpet in my hotel room was worn and tired. No body wash and had to ring housekeeping for refill… perhaps this should be checked regularly with cleaning. Cannot fault the care demonstrated towards guests and breakfast quality. A grand old lady of Zagreb that will always draw me to her. Fantastic location. Highly recommended.
Location is convenient and near to a lot of attractions.
I have stayed twice now and a little disappointed that the last visit I was in the older area of the hotel. Room was smaller and could go with an update. Was in a great location.

Great dessert menu! A taste of Croatia that you can't miss!
This is the best accommodation we experienced. First of all, as our accommodation fell through in Podgora we found Hotel Saudade and drove to Gradac to check it out. The girl from the reception showed us 2 rooms to choose from. She was very helpful and from that point everything was stress free as the holiday is supposed to be. The room was spotless, the buffet breakfast is included in the price...
The hotel offers a combination of friendly staff, peace, pleasure, rich breakfast and clean rooms. Above all a beautiful beach is in front of the entrance. Excellent place for vacation.
We have visited this hotel repeatedly over a period of 4 years. We really appreciate that the quality has not changed at all during that time. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious, the same applies to the meticulous cleaning. The food is a chapter in itself, including the Fado restaurant, which is at a high European level and everyone will really enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine with a perfect selection...
We just spent a week at this hotel and it became one of my favorites for sure. The staff was super nice and always ready to help with anything. The waiters at the Fado restaurant are amazing, very friendly and paying attention to the guests. The rooms are spacious and very clean and quiet. Beds are super comfortable. A very family-friendly and clean hotel with excellent breakfast and dinner options. What we especially loved was the dedicated ‘snack time’ at lunch for the kids. The pools are fantastic, and our children absolutely adored the waterslides.
Nice new hotel, nice location, parking nice, food average
This hotel is excellent, modern, clean and spacious. The facilities are very good, although the pools are quite deep, seemingly without shallow ends. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is of good quality and variety. The only downside is that we found meal times to be quite chaotic and challenging. Partly due to the volume of people and quite frankly, out of control children...

Wow!
Wow, it's my first time to Croatia and to be so lucky with my choice of hotel is unbelievable. The staff and the quality og the hotel was just amazing. I recommended this hotel to anyone. The food was also great!
The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautiful. The food is tasty and diverse. A big plus is the heated outdoor pool. The entire complex is clean and well-maintained. The only bad experience was the poor-quality drinks from the machine at dinner (warm, with a moldy taste). The staff is unfriendly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely exceptional stay!
From the moment we arrived at Hotel Bastion in the heart of Zadar’s old town, we knew this stay would be special. The location inside the historic city walls is unbeatable — everything is within easy walking distance, yet the hotel itself feels calm, elegant, and exclusive.
The room was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and very comfortable, combining...
My two children, husband and I stayed here and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The service was exceptional, the ambience was lovely, the rooms were clean and luxurious, and the location was perfect- very close to all the major sites. My daughter loved that we were staying in a fortress! Every single person at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. This is our favorite hotel of...
My wife and I had the most amazing experience at the Hotel Bastion. From the moment we checked in everyone went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. The woman in charge of the breakfast went above and beyond in assisting us and every morning inquired as to how we slept the neighbors before.
The hotel is located inside the city walls close to the action but secluded enough for the...
Wonderful boutique hotel in a prime location. The staff were absolutely great, especially the front of house team. They were happy to valet our car, making parking a breeze. Getting in and out of the center of the city was surprisingly easy.
Breakfast is both a buffet and a la carte. The room (we had the 002 suite) was cute and clean.
I would happily stay here again. There’s a few waterfront bars...
This is a great hotel for visiting Zadar. The team, especially Ivan at the front desk, Helena the masseuse, and the lovely dining staff, were top notch outstanding. The food was very, very good, albeit pretty pricey. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The view was very nice.

Hotel Umag Plava Laguna in Croatia is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway by the Adriatic Sea. I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We selected premium room with a seaside view. It was just perfect ... Until we heard how much ATP Umag was loud at night. There was something wrong with the insulation on the windows, or something.
The staff was very understanding and they had arranged a new room (parkside view) within an hour. After that we slept like babies.
Everything else was perfect. The food was tasty, the staff was friendly...
Nice hotel with minor flaws.
Pros: excellent facilities and lots of stuff for kids to do. Great evening events. Very nice staff and good service. Rooms are comfortable but furniture is not new.
Cons: the restaurant is rather a canteen. Overcrowded and cheap food. E.g. soda is terrible. No sand or pebble beach near the hotel.

Loved the hotel and location in Opatia. Our balcony overlooked the Adriatic Sea. Great staff, clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast everything clean parking is difficult because you have to park in the garage. That is perhaps 50 to 100 yards away from the hotel if you go to the hotel first with your bags then you have to take a long route back to the garage because the road by the hotel is one way but really a very nice place to stay.

We liked the place. Spacious rooms. Professional and kind staff. The walk to city center is 30ish minutes and enjoyable on a sunny day. The parking situation is not perfect - it is paid extra and the card sometimes doesn't work.
It was fantastic, there was a bathtub so we could relax and enjoy the time in the hotel!!
Very nice hotel. Very modern and clean with a big breakfast selection. The room was big and clean and the staff were great. Easy to get into the centre of town and simple to get to and from the airport too
Central hotel with good service (reception) and good breakfast. However the diner is subpar. I visited in mid January and apparently all rooms were set at 26C without ability to adjust. The only way of adjusting was to open the window - where you have 50% chance facing a autorecond/powerwashing service between 6-23. Rooms are clean and nice though.
I will definitely always return to this hotel whenever I am in Zagreb. Even if I’m not staying overnight, I will make sure to stop by for lunch. Everything is perfect — from the rooms and service to the cuisine and the wonderful staff, who truly go above and beyond to make every moment more pleasant for their guests. A place where you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of.
The Wi-Fi is really fast, and breakfast is included in the booking at no additional cost, with a nice selection of options. I highly recommend the eggs with tomato sauce—they were delicious. The breakfast staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was also spacious and comfortable. Its located behind the main station about 10 mins walk or take tram 13 to get to hotel.

Thank you to all previous review writers who helped us choose Villa Andrea for our first visit to Croatia. What a superb hotel. It is on the seafront, walking distance from the beach. Nice. It is bad that the hotel did not renew its contract with the beach-umbrellas company. Ridiculous. Good base for 1 night stay in Hvar, if staying longer looked like it has a nice swimming pool area and bar. Breakfast was well stocked and varied. Really liked that the hotel took your cases back down to the ferry marina at the end of your stay. Wish they'd of communicated this before arriving as was a lot of steps to be pulling luggage up on arrival as hotel is at the top of the hill out of the way
The stay was excellent, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because our shower was leaking a lot of water from the ceiling seemingly whenever the room above us was showering. There is a luggage service to and from the port which is very convenient and the hotel is only about a 5-10min walk into the main town area. Overall a great stay.

Good hotel. Location is central but it’s a bit of a walk uphill to reach the property. Room is clean and comfortable. Service is quick and professional. One of the best part is the complimentary luggage pick and drop to and fro Hvar Port. Very convenient. Amazing buffet for breakfast, however, room service food is not worth the price. Overall, strongly recommended.
Everything was great , just wish the bed it’s not two small bed in one , it’s very uncomfortable for couples .
This is a good hotel. Although it is rated as a three-star hotel, it is good enough for a four-star hotel. It has a nice public lounge balcony and is a good place to eat and drink. It's not far from the city on foot, so you'll need to take a detour by car.

Hotel is old but nice and not so expensive at the end of October. Rooms are nice with lovely view on the sea. Bathroom is a bit old. Brakfast is simple and ok. Dinner is 27€ so a little bit expensive. Parking is disaster and you have to pay for it. Hotel has swiming pool inside with sea water.
Hotel is old and banged up. We had some issues with room keycards that stopped working (twice), the prices are astronomical even in september and parking is a nightmare and a robbery.
The hotel does have a nice view and the breakfast was good. The “beach” in front is a falling apart cemented space with ice cold water (underwater springs) and ice watering prices for umbrella and deck chairs.
Very friendly staff, we'd love to come back.
a well-designed room with beautiful sea view
The room is small, but well-designed. It’s better to improve the air conditioning system. The food quality is not good with this price. The sitting area at restaurant is crowded.

Top team, very customer friendly, great service!
Typical Valamar Croatian hotel – an older, renovated facility with plenty of amenities such as a kids’ mini club, pool, and various activities. Overall, my children were very happy with everything, especially the mini club activities and the friendly animators. However, a shortage of staff is evident everywhere. Room cleaning is often delayed until the afternoon and less detailed compared to other...
