Typical Yugo chique beach side resort, a nice location, beautiful Adriatic sea, all in all completely fine.

Nice surroundings, rather dilapidated buildigs, modest furnishings. For example: 20-year-old crt Tv, and electric stove.

Apartament Medena The cleaning was forgotten, we had to remind the reception and we also had to ask for towels and refilling toilet paper and soap. The apartments were okay but around there were a lot of closed and abandoned buildings, it felt like they had their glory days 10 years ago at least.

We did not enjoy our stay. The apartment smelled like a butcher and was very dirty when we received the apartment. We got a new apartment because we said so ourselves. It was also dirty and smelled. No internet in the rooms. There were only two chairs out on the balcony even though there were 4. Overall not happy with the whole stay.

Some of the staff at the hotel next door who work with the apartments were not service minded and were rude. Tried to eat a meal at the restaurant by the beach, but were disturbed by 5-10 wasps swarming around us and the food. It was impossible to eat anything, as you were almost "attacked" by the wasps. And no sympathy from the staff they just stood there laughing, especially an employee named Tony...

Clean and spacious rooms. All rooms have air conditioning. The bathrooms and toilets are spacious and very clean.

Great location, just steps from the beach and the promenade, perfect for exploring Makarska on foot. It was really convenient to have a parking spot in the garage, as parking in the area can be tricky. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and everything was well organized. Overall, a very nice and comfortable stay.

Very well kept hotel with spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. It has a unique charm about it and reminds of what a hotel should be, not full of bling but nice. When you first arrive you get a feeling of relaxation right from the moment you walk through the door.

Wonderful location to chill out. Close to Umag and great restaurants. The pool is very relaxing and the concrete beach area is nicer than I expected. We stayed for six nights and enjoyed every night. We were greeted upon arrival and showed around the place. The view from the balcony was beautiful over looking the waters and Old Town Croatia. We rented a car and the parking was very convenient. We would definitely stay there again.

This was the perfect location for us 15 minutes walk into Dubrovnik 2 or 3 times a day. There is a steep hill into the town which can be either be accessed by lots of steps 2 or 3 buildings down or a longer incline down the road. The road down doesn’t have 50 yards of pavement which is a bit narrow so you need to watch out for on coming traffic, I would let any busses through first before proceeding...

We loved our stay here - the location was perfect, with easy access to the old town without the crowds. The apartment was huge and very comfortable, lovely rooms, and the deck / view was incredible. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating.

Good location, clean and fully equipped spacious apartment, with very nice view from balcony. All necessary things are provided, such as cooking oil and detergent for the washing machine. At the beach: sun beds are reserved from early in the morning. No one removes towels. In general, it’s a nice hotel with hard working staff.However, you need to consider 3 points: 1. they only offer WIFI in reception and in the rooms you need to use your own. 2.
