Other reviews are valid, the only additional issue that stopped us giving 5 stars is having to negotiate 4 flights of stairs in darkness because the stairwell lights are on a timer! This a safety risk that money-pinching / environmental impact cannot justify.

Great place to stay. Had most things needed for self catering. Clean and enough space for two. Check in and out was easy. Host was available via WhatsApp for any questions and was friendly. Also main beach was only ten minutes walk away. Brac and Supetar are both very special and the sea was crystal clear

Supetar superstar! We were in Supetar for a family wedding and our on-sight hotel employee Natasha was incredibly responsive and helpful. Centrally located perfect as a launching pad for our adventures on the island of Brac.

Nice apartment with lots of utensils. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a great time in Supetar. The pool was great and the whole place was really clean! Close to the beach and supermarket but even though quiet neighborhood. Can highly recommend it for anyone.

Very nice place close to the beach but not so close you could hear it all day long. It is located in a quiet neighborhood to our liking. The pool was great and we enjoyed it very much! The rooms offers lots of different utensils. Even though the balcony was close to the next buildings roof we enjoyed sitting outside. It was very convenient to live close to a small supermarket.

Perfect accommodation. Immaculately clean, a gorgeous pool and located close to the beach and central Supetar. Great communication with Milan prior to our arrival. Our studio apartment was very comfortable, the air conditioning was very welcome! We had a great holiday and will definitely visit again.

Modern villa under the same group as Hotel Vestibul Palace. The location is decent, just a 5-10 min walk downhill to the Old Town, or 5 mins away from the supermarket. Antonia who managed the accommodation was friendly, helpful and responsive.

A great villa. It sleeps four people and allows us to cook our own food. There are live peacocks on the balcony for you to admire. I think they're the owner's pets. They poop.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and had the most amazing time in Split, there is not enough superlatives to describe the city and surronding areas. We were warming greeted by Tina on arrival after a tranfer arranged by the apartment for us from the airport. She swiftly checked us in and were shown to our gorgous 2 bedroom apartment. 1 bedroom is ensuite and the other one uses the main bathroom...

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Residences. The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, modern, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The location couldn’t be better: tucked away in a quiet spot, yet only a short walk from Split’s Old Town with all its restaurants, attractions, and history right at your doorstep. ABSOLUTELY nothing bad to say about this accommodation! It is a little difficult to find...we arrived in the dark (after our flight was delayed) and were talked in by Tina from the property...a great help! We had booked secure car parking space....under cover (very lovely in August when the temperatures were 28 degrees +) at a cost of 20 euros daily. The apartments are situated about a 10 minute walk...

Beautiful and modern apartment for my family, close to the old town but not in the middle of it which is perfect!

Very pleasant stay, accommodation, food, pool, deck chairs, umbrellas, a large selection of beaches, from paved, pebble, to slightly wild beaches in a pine forest.... Very friendly staff. Possibility of organized exploration of the surroundings by boat. All expectations met.

I went on weekend getaway. Had a wonderful stay at Arkada hotel. They have a great pool and lovely staff at the reception.

Pet friendly, but for real. Gordana from the restaurant was especially friendly and efficient, really nice to see something like that. Manager Marina was very helpful, too.

A perfect place to rest. Service, rooms, food, proximity to the Old Town will make your vacation perfect. Excellent bicycle tour from the Old Town to Vrboska and Jelsa. If you don't have your own bicycles, you can rent them at affordable prices.

The hotel’s location is fantastic – close to quiet beaches with plenty of space for everyone. There are several shaded spots under pine trees where you can relax in peace, and access to the sea is excellent. What I wouldn’t praise is the food, which is below average for most dishes. The rooms are fine for a holiday, though small and dated – but if the weather is good, you won’t spend much time inside...

Excellent small hotel. Quirky room with heritage features. Staff were great, bed was comfortable. Well positioned for Diocletians palace. Only minor issue was that the partially underground breakfast room needs some more lights.

More 2 star than 4 star Small dark room, very little hanging space, poor AC. Our room smelt of stale cigarettes. Breakfast is very limited, no warm food. Didn’t replace in room coffee or clean mugs/glasses during 3 night stay. There is no bar/cafe as advertised. Good location Definitely not 4 star hotel

A beautiful small hotel, full of history just like the area it’s located in. The room was excellent, very clean, and the girls at the reception were friendly, smiling, and welcoming. A big yes from us. We will recommend to our friends and family for sure

The hotel is almost perfect except the noise insulation, unfortunately it is a really big deal. I understand this is a very old building but the sound from the ceiling (people walking in above floor) is totally unacceptable. We can hear all the step so clearly and we cannot sleep well. Tbh I am someone very easy to fall asleep but unfortunately not this time Other than that, everything almost perfect

While the unit itself is lovely, if you plan to arrive after 11 PM, I do not recommend staying here. We waited from 11:30 until midnight standing in the street until someone came to let us in. During the night, two gentlemen sat at the tables outside and had a conversation until 4:10 AM. Without any staff on-site, these issues are difficult to manage, so I would not choose to stay here again.

The location isn't the best, but everything else is perfect.

When using navigation to get to the hotel, be sure to find the right route. The first time we used Waze, it almost led us to a church; the path was probably no more than 2 meters wide, and there was nowhere to turn around, so we had to back up. We only found the hotel parking lot the second time using Google Maps. The breakfast was plentiful, great!

I stayed in a triple room. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the old town. There's a gym, and quite a few active people were working out. The breakfast menu was a bit disappointing.

Good hotel, can be hard to get to the hotel by taxi. Our Bolt driver got a bit lost. Overall we had a great experience there.

The location is very good and there are many people. It is a bit expensive after two days. The breakfast is also standardized, nothing special. Occasionally you can hear people chatting downstairs at night. The sound insulation is average, which is understandable as a tourist city.

It was a little dated but I think that worked into the charm of this place. It was right on the beach in a beautiful area. I had a balcony that had a view of the mountains to enjoy. Breakfast was great as well. No complaints :)

Hotel is in a stunning spot with amazing views. Bed was hard and uncomfortable and the room smelled of cigarettes, but overall the stay was enjoyable and we’d recommend it

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious, the location is perfect and just a short walk from everything you could need. Really recommend getting a room with a balcony as the views over Omiš and the river canyon are incredible

A wonderful family-run gem - highly recommended. The decor is a little old fashioned but location and service are spot on. They even serve their own produce and wine from their farms and vineyards. We would recommend the suites with a view (we booked 2 for our family of 4). The glass lift is very Roald Dahl. The staff were wonderfully friendly and very helpful ensuring we made the most out of our stay. This was one place on our 7 week holiday that we wished we had stayed for a longer time. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the town, beach, good restaurants and activities.

Location is near Old Town and Diocletians Palace. Rooms are large and bathrooms are great. Beds are comfortable. Staff are lovely. Only down side was a horrible smell of sewerage coming into the bathoom. We had to change rooms due to it, then in the next room, leave the exhaust fan on constantly. Staff say it happens when wind is blowing.

Good location in a small island, near everything you need, 15-minute walk to the beach and restaurants. They are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel in the middle of old town….historic building, with modern amenities….. Follow their directions instead of google…. Google will take you through area with lots of steep and uneven stairs…it’s pedestrian area so you will need to walk with your luggage to the front door… Lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly…. Around 10 minutes walk from bus station and ferry terminal….

Beautiful property inside and out. The views of the sea were better than expected. Room was comfortable if a little noisy being on the end near the bar/restaurant. As was the case with almost every place we stayed during our 3-week European holiday, there are no room-darkening blinds so recommend an eye mask if you're sensitive to early morning light. This hotel is located in a great location in the center of Bola along the coast. We had the most beautiful sea view from our room.The room is clean, breakfast was good, staff very friendly. Parking space not far from the hotel to which their driver untied us. Have a nice short rest, we'll get back again.

Great location, in a beautiful part of Bol with pretty views over the harbour. Hotel was very clean and acceptable for 3 stars. However the reason for my poor review is the fact that the air conditioning in the room was terrible and hardly worked; even after hours of being on full capacity. The guesthouse has very basic facilities; you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself, and they don't offer any assistance.

It’s a great place, run by a lovely manager called Ana, who is so thoughtful, helpful and friendly. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Great spot in the middle of the walking old town. Room was new, comfortable and great AC (a must for summer in Croatia). Only downside is its up about 5 flights of stairs no elevator, they helped carry bags up but your on your own getting out. Would still highly recommend!

Great location! Kinda odd upstairs from an art gallery but it's a super cute room! Up 4 or 5 flights of stairs, no elevator but not a problem with gelato on every corner but definitely not wheelchair accessible. Comfy but small bed.

I want to start by saying this hotel is pretty hard to find. We arrived and did not have a sims card with GPS yet and we asked two locals working nearby for help that was readily given. But even the people that work 40 to 80 meters had to look it up. I want to tell anyone that is going to stay here it is directly across from the Spar grocery store so you don't have any trouble finding the hotel...

A clean, unspectacular place 10 minutes from a beach in proximity to the historic port town of Trogir. Stayed there for 1 night. All was as expected. I was missing a restaurant in the area, no option for lunch or dinner nearby (at least in Oct). There is a supermarket on the way to the beach. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff helpful. Nice views from sea-side balcony. Not more to say. 😊

A great hotel for a relaxing break, a short walk to the shore. The owners are lovely people who run a clean and tidy hotel. It was our first time in Croatia and they made us feel very welcome, giving us advice on local sights and transport.

We were very well looked after by the lovely couple who run this hotel. The room was lovely with a lounge area and big double bed. Fridge for drinks and snacks. Great views over the bay of Trogir. Was recommended to us and we would also recommend.

Room was clean, but need to clean all the small spaces, also it is need some protection for mosquitoes, update the furniture.

The staff is very friendly, all praises. The rooms are neat and clean, but with a little investment they can be brought to a much better, more modern level. The balloon is beautiful. We loved our stay on Vis. The quaint hotel was comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to stay at a boutique hotel after being in much larger hotels on the other islands. I would highly recommend staying at San Giorgio.

This hotel reflects the charm and captivating beauty of Vis. Set down a narrow cobbled side street it is peaceful and away from the crowds. The staff are extremely friendly and always happy to help. The dinning area is very pretty especially at night and it has lots of nooks if you prefer privacy. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked.

This is the most amazing hotel. Me and a friend stayed in Vis for three nights and felt as if we could have stayed for longer. The hotel was beautiful. We had a very relaxing holiday. Hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. Beach proximity is excellent, and the place is peaceful without the typical touristy overcrowding and noise. We will return next year.

Located right by the waterfront this 100+ year old villa has super cosy and comfortable apartments, wonderful hosts and all the amenities you could wish for. The spot is perfect for the stay, with just a park between the house and the beach. We look forward to coming back!

Everything was terrific! Easy to find, close to shops and restaurants! Staff was very friendly- set up our airport transfer for us - very economical and pleasant! There are steps but I believe they put you according to ability to walk if possible!

You need to walk to get to the hotel and with luggage it’s not easy to do for sure. No cars can get to it.

Property is nice. Recently renovated. So the rooms are great to stay in. Spacious and great bathroom. It has a nice public small beach in front of the hotel if you don't want to move. The host and her mother were so sweet and accommodating, they were absolutely lovely. BnB vibes. Would stay with them even if the room wasn’t as nice as it was. The AC was so incredible and the view and location was unreal. Couldn’t recommend more.

Owner was very kind and helpful. We asked for a butterknife and she brought us a whole set of cutlery. They also asked us about towel change and if we needed anything else.
