Do not listen to anyone who says this hotel is mediocre and not worth it. We had a wonderful 9 night stay at the lovely Aparthotel Tamaris, which is situated right on the beach near the beginning of the promenade. It’s in a fairly quiet stretch but only a stones throw from the restaurants. The apartment had 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 single and a double sofa bed in the large sitting room) - it was very comfortable, airy and clean with a beautiful sea view from our spacious...

Everything was perfect: the accomodation, the equipment of the room, the view, the food, the staff, the sea, literally all the things above. Except from one thing. If you advertise yourself a no waste/low waste and nature friendly hotel, please do not remove sparrow nests from your corridors with the baby sparrows STILL inside….that was way beyond disappointing.

Very clean,staff extremely helpful and nice.Free parking (should be requested beforehand just in case).We also sent request for early check in and room was ready just in time.Beach is 5 meters away. Great hotel with good breakfast options and fantastic roof top bar. Our room was spacious and clean but did experience noise when the bins were collected early each morning. A clean and modern hotel by the port of Supetar. Super easy to find once off the ferry. Breakfast pretty good but same every morning. Great views of the sunset from the rooftop bar. €15 rent for a towel per person for a week was a bit odd. Never had that before. We have been one week in the Hotel in July 2020. The location of the hotel is very good. The view to the see is fantastic. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. Food was good. Im happy that I can visit the Podgora small city in Croatia. The hotel was build in 60s so small renovation will be nice. The employees was nice.

We didn’t find any available room in vicinity, but they had one, and it was much better then expected. Hotel has 2 stars but the room was updated, so it worth higher rating. Also breakfast had a variety selection. Clean, AC worked great, nice view and very friendly staff.

Quick check in, friendly staff speaking perfect English also as the other languages.Generous hot and continental breakfast. Simple room wit the AC. Air conditioning worked well and without any noise. This place is about 12 minute drive outside of Split. It is a basic Hotel that fills basic needs. It is austere, but very clean, huge & we'll run. A really good night stay for the price you pay. And has more than ample parking and is close to my two favorite restaurants Stobrec. Epetium & Nikola. 2 must eat at places! No matter where you stay!

Our stay in Split old town We loved the hotel location and the staff. It is however very difficult if travelling by car and suit case. Parking is far and many steps to climb with the suitcase. It would have been a total disaster not for the help of staff specifically Ivana.

I have been charged 23.16 euros in taxes and/or fees when the reservation says that I only have to pay 7.98 euros in municipal tax at the establishment. A little slice of heaven in Hvar. Excellent staff and a view you cannot beat. They even gave us a free upgrade! The only downside is it is 15 euros each way to Hvar Town, but well worth how secluded and peaceful it is here.

Lovely accommodation right by the beach of a high standard. Really spacious and comfortable room and balcony and great location! Mel was available whenever we needed anything. We stayed here for five nights in the two bedroom upper apartment and loved it. Place is immaculate, apartment spacious and pristine with big balcony terrace with sea views. We arrived late on evening, Frane at reception desk was very helpful and efficient: I made a mistake at reservation (twin beds instead of 1 arge bed) but he found immediatly a solution to fix this. Dinner, breakfast and lunch were of excellent quality.

Very friends staff, who fix some minor problems with the facilities

It was an okay hotel, luckily we got a sea view room and the sunset was lovely to see from the room. Nearby restaurants that were good were Brazza and Gustirna. The breakfast at the hotel unfortunately was disappointing. I would have put this more in the three star category. Tip- if dining at Gustirna the lamb dish needs to be ordered the day before

Great staff. Amazing location. Well furnished and clean. Food ok however we mainly ate out. Make sure to ask the staff how to change to the english set of tv channels as we were stuck on German tv all weekend.

Not bad, but for the price should be perfect which isn't. Dishes in the room kitchen are not cleaned properly even if you have dishwasher included - maybe because no one use it cause u have no tablets for free. Shower is not holding tight on the holder cause its broken and no one repairs it. Food choice in the restaurant is not a big deal and you will find better places in Brela. But on the other side...

Our stay was exceptional! Staff advised us on directions to the city gate where they met and accompanied us to the hotel. Andy, Maria, Chris and another lovely desk attendant assisted us with all activities, meals and helped thru more than one ferry complication. The service is exceptional and the location in the old town square is ideal. You would be mistaken to stay elsewhere in Split!

Location is awesome. Room was very nice. People were incredible. Service was great. Wi-fi was spotty and slow. Bath tub drain kept sticking shut. Showering in 4 inches of water not fun. With just a couple of improvements, this place would be perfect!

Everything about this place was wonderful. Staff will meet you at city entrance and help walk you and your suitcases back to the facility. Have to walk maybe 2-3 blocks to get to hotel from any taxi drop off, but that is true of all the hotels in the old town. The property is located right inside the walls of the old city, almost 1700 years old! 😲 The hotel is truly boutique, with 5 star amenities and service. The staff, Ana, Jan, and Ante made our stay welcoming and comfortable, guided us for activities, dining, and travel further to our next destinations.

We had a planning faux pas and needed a room for one extra day before we went back home. The hotel that we had been staying in was roughly €500 per night. Sleep split did not have as large of a room, it was an extremely nice room with modern amenities and was only 150 euros. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was so convenient to walk to The Old Town . The entry system made it feel very safe and secure. We were met and helped by staff efficiently on check-in and checkout. Room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Temperature control good!

This hotel is in a great location to walk easily around Split. The area was nice and they had a lovely garden in the back. The staff was so helpful. Maya checked us in and gave us great info on where to go, eat and what to skip. The air conditioning worked in the rooms which says a lot for rooms in Europe. We really liked it here and would definitely stay again.

The concierge was wonderful when we checked in. They explained where to park and assisted with luggage. They accommodated our request for 2 twin beds. The room was standard size for Europe and was very clean. Bathroom was a nice size. Breakfast was great! There were made to order eggs and coffee as well as a great spread. Location was walkable to everything! We had a great time!
