We had a wonderful experience at Maximilian Hotel, especially during breakfast. a great variety of fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and high quality ingredients. Everything was beautifully presented and constantly replenished.

One of the highlights was the variety of eggs cooked exactly to your preference, whether you like them scrambled, poached, fried, or made into an omelet, they prepare them just the way you please. It’s such a thoughtful touch that really elevates the experience.

What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the service. A special thank you to April, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her positive attitude and care really stood out.

Highly recommend the breakfast her, and if you’re lucky enough to be assisted by April, you’re in great hands!

I stayed here for the first time in 2016 during a short trip to Prague. I enjoyed it so much, I booked it again. Despite the 10-year gap, my return was acknowledged at the reception desk and with a personalized handwritten note left in my room. The stay was once again flawless (as it was the first time). A major benefit is the on-site secured parking lot (reserve in advance, since spots are limited).
For any future trips to Prague, I will always stay at Hotel Maximilian.

Stayed at The Maximilian for 4 days wife my wife.
We arrived at the hotel and received a very warm welcome. We were told immediately that the lift was temporarily out of order. We were on the 3rd floor but it wasn’t too bad.
We had breakfast a couple of days at the hotel. The other couple of days we went out locally and had a lovely breakfast too.
The Maximilian is very central in Prague and only 5 minutes from Old Town Square. Also only 5 minutes from the excellent public transport.
The only slight niggle is the changing of towels. There’s a sign in the bathroom asking you only ask for towel changes if you leave it on the floor. We hung them up each day …and still had it replaced every day.
Generally, an excellent stay.

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. Amazing location as it is in walkable distance from the city.
The staff and service were spectacular and the daily breakfast was delicious.
My only comments are about 1: the bathroom door that was tinted glass and had a gap so it wouldn’t close by design and 2: the room temperature which could not be dropped below 24 degrees Celsius (so I did have to open the window to cool off at night, but then the smell from the kitchen was also filling up the room).
Other than that everything was great and I hope to be back there again.

We loved our stay at Hotel Maximilian. What a beautiful hotel! The room was a great size, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. The room had a mini fridge with beverages and they were kind enough to give us a bottle of wine. The location is perfect to all the spots in Old Town. I highly recommend staying at this hotel! Really grateful for all of the staff. Thank you!

Excellent Hotel, clean, comfortable and modern. Very friendly staff and the location is spot on. quiet area, right on the corner of the central market with great bars and restaurant.

A lovely modern hotel within the old town area and only a 5min walk to the central square. The rooms are comfortable and have a beautiful design and decor. Also had practical features like USB ports beside the bed and around the spacious room. The breakfast was limited but had made to order items which was nice. The library area is a great place to chill while catching up on work or waiting for a flight. Really friendly staff who are willing to assist and I would recommend staying here when in Prague.

The room was very clean, quiet and functional, as was the entire hotel area we experienced. we loved the floor heating in the bathroom. Breakfast was very generous and varied. the dining area was very pleasant to use. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed here June 2015. Highly recommended. Clean, reasonable prices, fabulous breakfast. Courteous English speaking front desk staff including a college student from the USA. Very nice! Short walk to old town square. Several good restaurants in the area including The Wheel, right cross the square from the hotel.
