Hotel Jelinek in Spindleruv Mlyn

Worst experience ever in Czechia. The owner is a ****** ***** who made us feel unsafe to the point of having to leave the hotel earlier. The room isn’t even cleaned properly, there was no mattress cover in our room, we asked for toilet paper and never received it. We did not see the owner the first 2 days, only the last day. One of his employee, a German-speaking blonde waitress, verbally assaulted my friend and uttered the most disgusting ****** slurs because he was helping himself to breakfast items which we had already paid for, and it seems like she didn’t like the fact that she was serving a black man and an arab girl. She immediately made us feel unwelcome and uneasy. She was rude, lacked manners and was very agressive. She started yelling at us because we were the last ones for breakfast. She said we needed to leave our table earlier for more important clients the next day; what is this, a segregationist place? They threatened us when we reacted to their mistreatment and tried to scare us away. Thankfully I called Trip.com and managed to cancel the last night. It was a horrible and traumatizing experience. We told them we’d file a complaint to the police and the French embassy, when the man heard us doing that, he started swearing at us and told us to "f*ck off". We will be writing about this to the French press and the Czech authorities will be notified. The staff is truly the most horrible we’ve ever encountered throughout our travels to more than 100 countries! Shame on you and your parents for raising such despicable and ****** people. By the way, they seem to have a horrible reputation in the neighborhood because other people complained about the same thing and about the cleanliness. The only good thing is that the scenery around the hotel is beautiful, the nature is breathtaking so please go to a normal hotel with nice and civilized people, there is plenty of choice right across the bridge. We went to SYNEK Pension afterwards which is held by a very nice Vietnamese man who also owns a little shop nearby; it was cleaner and really beautiful.

Walked into the full restaurant complety wet due to a heavy rain. No stuff was at the door showing us where to sit. So we went on, found a table. Put our coats on spare chairs to dry as all the hangers were full of other customers’ ones. The female stuff came not long after we sat down. After she had given us the menus she rudely told us to hang the coats up with the rest and that we are (2of us) are taking over the biggest table in the restaurant ( table for 4!) and that she will be moving us. Her attitude gone even worse as I politely answered that I am not putting my totally wet dry fast coat on other peoples dry ones. She walked off and came back with even worse attitude. Was planning to had meals and drinks there, that never happened thanks to this lady and never ever will happen….

When we said thé wine was spoiled, they became really unfriendly and didn't even want to listen. We ordered Halloumi that was completely burned. When saying so, they really rudely said leave the restaurant if you don't like the food. There was no understanding at all ... very frustrating so a bad experience!

Never polecam! Obsluga restauracji wprawdzie Elizaveta kilkoma jezykami, ale cóż z tego, skoro panie sa bardzo niesympatyczne, bezczelne wrecz. Jedzenie ponizej pasa, niedoprawione. Grzaniec-to-jakis kwasny sok z przyprawami. Po takim czyms chetnie by czlowiek wypil cos innego, ale obsluga mimo niewielu gosci nawet never byla laskawa zapytac, czy cos chcemy jeszcze wypic. Na koniec policzono nam dwa piwa wiecej!!! Kelnerki mrugaly miedzy soba oczami, podejrzane byly od poczatku. Ale kase bez Slovakia zwrocily (napiwku never).

To not recommend! Very unfriendly service! The food is without taste, and in the end increased the bill! So the first and the last Time in this Place!
