AC was excellent. We did not have a car.

Location was very good. The staff was nice. Maintenance of the apartment like electric outlets didn’t have cover. The shower water pressure and temperature. Toilet paper rolls should be bigger

The service was good the location is amazing 1 minute walk to the beach my only complaint was the bed was so hard other than that I would have given the place 5 stars

The sheets seemed new, however were very slippery and had come off in the night while I was sleeping. The AC was good if you close the bedroom door

Great location steps from the beach, simple basic clean hotel room with a nice pool, good bang for your buck, friendly helpful staff

Everything good except the bed. It was small for two people and the mattress was worn you can feel the coils.

Really good place. quiet and clean. Lady at front desk was very helpful with everything and assisted me with extending my stay with no problem

Stayed there overnight as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. Night receptionist was very kind, breakfast was OK, and the room was great (apps on smart TV are a plus)

Concierge is very welcoming guy. Recommend this place if you are to explore the city

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel-if I could I would give it 10 stars. The staff is amazing, the hotel is clean and up to date. Very exceptional place to stay and close to the culture of Dominica … highly highly recommended!

Love it, only thing they need to work on it is the shower water is very poor other than that Great hotel to staying.

Staff were very friendly and helped with locations in the area. The hotel is very clean and rooms very nice. Air conditioning and television in the room both work also the WiFi works perfectly

Quite location, and not so far from the center. It was a great stop before moving on to Samana. Both receptionists were helpful and lovely.

I was surprised by the service and attention I received, the excellent cleanliness, and the friendly staff. Esther and the gentleman who takes care of the parking lot. I give it 5 stars and I recommend it 100%

There’s a supermarket nearby, along with several small restaurants, which is very convenient. The breakfast is good, and once again, the staff is outstanding! I highly recommend this place

Cozy little place. Good plentiful breakfast. Quite calm garden. Great value for money, we went for one night and got everything that we needed.

Lots of schools in the area so you’ll hear children coming and going but it wasn’t bothersome. When you first come here the owners will greet you and give you a key to the front door and to your room

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The living facility was quiet and very comfortable. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to get away from big hotels and resorts with tons of people.

The location is okay; I traveled alone, and taking an Uber to the beach every day cost me around €13-15 round trip. However, this is more than compensated by the hotel’s attractive pricing

Clean quite place to stay. Access to food and shopping. Beach is nearby alone with many other activities. I recommend this apartment and will return.

The rooms are beautiful and very clean spot on and the pool is amazing with pool bars absolutely awesome!. Even has fridge with pop and water included and enough hangers to hang our shirts on

We had an amazing time, the pool is beautiful the pool chairs and umbrellas are perfect. We tried almost every drink and were never disappointed. Extra big shout out to the Pina Colada and Pisco Sour

Absolutely beautiful hotel, came here for my friends bachelorette. The staff were amazing from the servers to the security. Close to Sosua beach and Cabarete for nightlife

And getting food poolside never got old, especially the pizzas. Shout out to Havi the chef for all the amazing food. Already planning my next trip here

Great place to spend a weekend

It's not unbearable but it's there 2) The shower head is nice but the flow of water isn't very good and the water temperature was hard to control 3) The security box in my room didn't have clear instructions and didn't seem to work That's pretty much it

The hotel location is right next to a tiny beach. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing experience it's a good location. However you will need a car to move around and go to the town center

Carlos and Irina were both wonderful. The pool area is beautiful, and they have food and drinks and are extremely helpful. Parts of my room were a little run down and the shower wasn’t working properly and no hot water

This is a cool secluded out of the way hotel. Very beautiful inside with excellent service food and drinks. Rates for rooms I believe around $60 per night so very fair and local to everything

The property would get a full 5 star review except for a few things: 1) There is trash on the beach and outside the property, which is really no fault of theirs, but it's more than just 1-2 pieces of trash

It’s off the main strip but a short mototaxi ride away and has its own awesome little secluded beach access (Playa Chiquita) where it was almost always empty and I had it all to myself

Everthing was good .. you feel like home .. but one thing is that i was literally chocked while taking a bath in the bathroom .. hope that they ve fix it

Place is on a quiet street but near lots of restaurants and nightlife. The room was clean, had what I needed, and the balcony and pool, which was empty when I was there, were nice

This hotel is quiet yet close to the stripe. This hotel has more of a comforting feel to it. Although, this is not the most modern hotel and the furniture could use an updating. This is a solid option for a short stay

The room was clean and comfortable but dated. The air conditioner is in the bedroom but was able to cleap the entire apartment cool. The one television was in the living room

In the morning she drove us around and gave us a little tour when our schedule changed again. She also took us to a delicious local breakfast. We really want to return now to spend more time with her in her awesome space

Great experience, very nice people, awesome conversations with the owner. Good location, the only small thing is that is a little bit too hot, but it is located in a tropical country so it is part of the experince

The owner is very nice, willing to help, she was a teacher and has a lot of interesting knowledge to share, she knows a lot of places and events for tourists, I loved the place and hope to go back one day 😇🙏

The entire apartment was very spacious and clean, and had a water cooler with delicious, fresh, cold water. The air conditioning kept the bedroom very comfortable, and we slept great on the bed

There was an incredible view from the rooftop, and all the outdoor areas were relaxing. Best of all was our lovely hostess, Daniele, who made us feel right at home

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azul! We had to book last minute due to a mishap, but this stay turned everything around

It was very clean and had a maid service everyday, also providing fresh towels. We did sample the continental breakfast, which was lovely, and good value for money

However, we did find a little cafe over the road for lighter bites that suited us better. There are also good transport links for the lovely beach and old town; would definitely recommend this hotel

The garden terrace with pool was like a little oasis and was a lovely area to unwind with a drink or two! Whilst the room itself was a little tight for 3 adults, it had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated

Pretty much the same for lunch and dinner. But customer service and facility is the best. Pool needs to be heated please

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Saman Boutique Hotel with my two friends

When the taxi pulled up outside, I must admit I was a little put off by the surrounding area; I needn’t have worried! We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff and the hotel itself definitely wowed us all

Early check-in required an extra fee, which was the only downside. Otherwise, everything was excellent

All good. Raymer in reception was very helpful getting us a spot for dinner.

The staff were absolutely amazing, especially Rodrigo at the restaurant, he was incredible. Very peaceful and quiet place, and the rooms were immaculate. Views are to die for, highly recommend.

It’s location is superb… you have a nice sight of the whole city from the top of the mountains. The hotel personnel is well trained and extremely polite; always willing to make you feel like home.

Great place, spotless, stunning Mountain Views. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the atmosphere was very relaxing, and the complimentary breakfast was great!

The food is incredibly great both in the buffet and the specialty restaurants, and you do not have to make a reservation except for Fusion. The entertainment at night in the open area is different every night

Beautiful pools , plants and great restaurants. Beach was great with plenty of things to do. Great entertainment every night along with pool parties and DJ during the day. Minimal kids staying while we were here

If your thinking of staying at secrets next door it is very big and open and for a much older crowd. People 65 plus sleeping and snoring by the pool without the music and pool fun atmosphere

View of coconut trees and some flowers, but faced the service road where the workers travel and many trucks and delivery vehicles. The staff was 50/50 in terms of service

Wet walkways, narrow paths to navigate the pool area by the beach, long lines at dinner time, rowdy Spring breakers, all made me feel a bit overwhelmed (I’m 75)

I’d highly recommend the Dominican show on Thursday night. They are truly proud of their country and very talented. Lots of families at this resort and babies

We did not stay here we just had dinner. It was good food and drinks and the server was very nice and tried his best with out language barrier. Cute boutique hotel amenities.

Room was inside the restaurant, this is a first for us. Food was a little on the pricey side, but it was good. They were doing construction work, so had to walk around all that to get to the room

We went there with family and friends and the price was very right. We highly recommend visiting the place with a day pass and if you like it, then go with the hotel portion and stay the night
