It was good I liked the hotel. Didn’t love the location. It was comfortable and good breakfast.

Not the best area to be able to walk to points of interest. And the area around the hotel is very dirty and right off a main road but inside the property the hotel feels resort like with a garden and pool with a swim up bar. Property was well kept albeit a bit simple, but a good value for the price. Food is ordinary, but ok for a short stay. 10-15 min taxi from the cruise port. Not near the beaches, so if that's your thing, look elsewhere. Also helps to be bilingual .

This property is very good for a one night stay if you are boarding a ship in the nearby port. They have a pool and a restaurant and you don’t need to leave the compound. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a fabulous 2 nights stay! The room was spacious, well decorated beachie vibe, spacious balcony, updated throughout. There is no iron, and only one spot to place bottles and soaps in the shower i was only able to fit one soap and one bottle and had to place my razor shampoos and comb on the floor. Hotel Atlantis was amazing. It’s a very quiet hotel with a beautiful property full of trees and plants, located right on the beach and beach path. The staff was fantastic. They arranged taxi services for us, and the housekeeping team was incredible—going above and beyond each day to keep our room spotless. There are lots of great restaurants and drinks just steps away. We’ll definitely be back soon

The hotel is very clean, but the pictures on the site should be updated. Owner and staff are very pleasant. The place is cute but could use some TLC. There was only 1 lounge chair at the pool (an older one) and a few plastic chairs and small tables. The hot tub was not working. It's only about a kilometer from the beach and is in a good location near great restaurants.

Total mind blow! This retreat forced me to vacate all my worries and focus on total pleasure! Hotel Enjoy ,was very pleasant and quiet. The room was very clean with fresh flowers decor, clean Linens. I loved staying here! Location is perfect, short walk to beach and local bodega to buy food. Service was great, Morgan is extremely helpful and so sweet! One night it was pouring rain and I had no vehicle and they went out of their way to make me dinner and deliver it in the rain. The room is super cute and spacious, I highly recommend this spot!

Tropicana Hotel is the one of the best valued hotels in Santo Domingo. For one night you can get a decent room for $30 USD. You can upgrade for $40 for the night to a room with a decent view of the courtyard and pool. The hotel is a bit outdated however, it does preserve its old school charm. The room was very basic, nothing special. We had standard room, for two people it is very small, bathroom is very small, the door of bathroom was broken, so as the shower. Great Juneteenth stay The location of the stay was perfect, literally steps from the beach--we were thankful for that. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff is A-1. The only problem I can say there is with the place, is the size of the beds. If you're on the smaller side, you have nothing to worry about. They were under construction in the layout of the lights in the room were uncomfortable. You couldn’t turn the lights off and have the fan running so if you turned off the lights, the fan would turn off, which makes no sense. Why wouldn’t the fan be able to run independently from the lights on the other side of the room that was a bother.
