The was the best experience i had at a hotel in Dominican Republic. I sent there just for 1 day to my fiancé gets off work and i ended up staying for 15 days. This is my new family. Going back in December and surely for Festival in February and bringing my friends!

The hotel is very clean, but the pictures on the site should be updated. Owner and staff are very pleasant. The place is cute but could use some TLC. There was only 1 lounge chair at the pool (an older one) and a few plastic chairs and small tables. The hot tub was not working. It's only about a kilometer from the beach and is in a good location near great restaurants.

Total mind blow! This retreat forced me to vacate all my worries and focus on total pleasure! Breathtaking views, beautiful accommodations, incredibly fresh, delicious ( and nutritious) foods and beverages, amazing waitstaff, eye-catching scenery, beach hopping, extreme peaceful seclusion, and exclusivity...There was NOTHING to want for.

We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are beautiful, with a fantastic garden and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We even joined the yoga class with our kids—a lovely experience for the whole family. The small private beach was perfect for quiet moments. Pure peace and relaxation!

Amazing stay! The hotel is perfectly located only about a 2 minute walk to the beach, making it very convenient. The service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly and attentive staff. Hotel Enjoy ,was very pleasant and quiet. The room was very clean with fresh flowers decor, clean Linens. Only one small problem, having trouble adjusting the cold and hot water.But It did not spoil my stay there. The breakfast was amazing. Very close to Beach Bonita, where they have a little restaurant, you could sit and look out into the ocean and have a drinks or dinner.

I loved staying here! Location is perfect, short walk to beach and local bodega to buy food. Service was great, Morgan is extremely helpful and so sweet! One night it was pouring rain and I had no vehicle and they went out of their way to make me dinner and deliver it in the rain. The room is super cute and spacious, I highly recommend this spot!

Tropicana Hotel is the one of the best valued hotels in Santo Domingo. For one night you can get a decent room for $30 USD. You can upgrade for $40 for the night to a room with a decent view of the courtyard and pool. The hotel is a bit outdated however, it does preserve its old school charm. The room was very basic, nothing special. We had standard room, for two people it is very small, bathroom is very small, the door of bathroom was broken, so as the shower. Great Juneteenth stay The location of the stay was perfect, literally steps from the beach--we were thankful for that. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff is A-1. The only problem I can say there is with the place, is the size of the beds. If you're on the smaller side, you have nothing to worry about. They were under construction in the layout of the lights in the room were uncomfortable. You couldn’t turn the lights off and have the fan running so if you turned off the lights, the fan would turn off, which makes no sense. Why wouldn’t the fan be able to run independently from the lights on the other side of the room that was a bother.
