A nice place to have a restful vacation with many amenities for those who want to have a bit more fun. Clean and very comfortable rooms. the beach area was not that impressive maybe due to the time of the year but overall worth going

Excellent resort- beautiful scenery and flowers. The staff at the Sunclub were excellent especially Julissa and Nichole. Elizabeth at the buffet great service and always knew what you needed. The Coco Cafe was great - the cappuccinos were fantastic. So sad that Sunscape is closing.

We found stale, slimy and smelly watermelon and beans in the buffet multiple times. We also saw completely dried up pancakes and other meat and items like chicken coz they were directly placed on a hot surface. Other than food, the place was clean and reasonably priced.

Playa Bachata resort is a 3 star experience. If you want a low cost all inclusive getaway, this place works. Don't expect high-quality food, drinks, or activities and you won't be disappointed. The pool and beach were great. The room was not. Slippery floor in bathroom, tub was a slippery death trap. AC dripped onto the floor, no iron, sheets were dirty. Food was MEh. I've been here before, and the experience was great. This time, it was below average and it felt like they were pushing for folks to go to the Senator next door. It was like they downgraded on purpose to showcase the other hotel

The hotel grounds were clean and the staff was courteous. Staff waits in the parking lot with an umbrella on rainy days for guests when they exit their cars. The room fridge had no amenities. I had to call front desk one day to report that the room still had not been cleaned at 5pm.

The hotel is divided into two buildings—one offering sea-view rooms in the main tower and the other featuring tranquil garden views. We expected a lot more for this hotel. Checking in, the receptionist was very friendly and so was the bellboy. The room was sober but clean and i have no comment on that. Awesome vacation for our family! Resorted was exceptionally clean and everything was so conveniently located to our room and so many amenities! Staff were friendly and helpful. The staff was the key! Everyone here was so nice. The food was good and the grounds themselves were beautiful. The inclusive bar was a bit deceiving because there didn't seem to be much available but it was okay.

The bar was okay, I didn’t use the spa. I don’t know why they put me away from the group that I formed. Everybody was in the same place. I was not allowed to visit them. All of them used a black cord and mine was purple.

Rooms don’t open so it’s impossible to get outside fresh air and change the one from inside the room. The pool instead of being a quiet place where to relax it’s a disco with a DJ that blasts the music at very high volume. I asked to lower it a bit down. The people at the bar and the DJ rolled their eyes, lowered it for a minute and then they raised the volume once again.

The rooms are clean up-to-date. The price was amazing located next to the popular bars. Must try the pub bar.. the bartenders in the hotel were very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to friends reserve a room again.

Very good family experience and not far from airport, or santo domingo for those that want to venture into the city, or bring your family over.... it is a good retreat for resting, the food is dominican, and it is in the best spot in the boca chica beach.

The hotel staff are quite friendly and speak both English and Spanish with clarity. My room was clean and spacious. I highly recommend the unique experience, which includes a butler service during you stay. Our butler, Oliver, went above and beyond. He helped me navigate food allergy issues, made our dining and spa reservations, and even went to the local store to get me a brush, that I failed to pack.

We stayed at Lopesan in the Unique category for my 40 birthday. When we arrived , we were greeted with champagne and there was a private check in. They let us check in a little early which was great. They left a chocolate gift in our room which was delicious! We spent the majority of our time at the Unique bar on the beach and every bartender was super nice!
