Bathrooms need some renovation. After taking a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. Also,breakfast options should be made more foreigner friendly as well as employing people who can speak English. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to lodge with big comfortable beds and nice swimming pool.

I only recommended this hotel if you need to stay in Santo Domingo for one or a couple of nights. We had leaking in the bathroom and the shower was old. The staff very kind and helpful, except when I was going to use the swimming pool as everyday they was questioning me if I am a customer.

The resort was beautiful and very clean. I don't feel I capitalized on all they had to offer. There was so much to do on the resort and it was very secure. It required everyone to check in at the gate via security. My only complaint is that I did not enjoy the food.

The food was really not good. The hotel finishes are very nice but the whole place had the best odd smell combined with mustiness in the room. It was a weird cleaner or fragrance. Also the drinks were not great either.

I loved my stay here, only thing I would say is how room service does not come unless you ask for it, and the fact that there are no swim up bars! I did not realize how important this part would be! Besides that, me and my partner really enjoyed our stay!

The rooms were weird. There’s a giant door between the shower and the bedroom. It leaks and it’s really creepy. The historic Colonial Zone hotel has a great staff, Quirico & Barbara, to name a few, but they were all very kind and professional. Their amenities and rooms were excellent and clean. But the best part is that you just have to walk three short blocks to right from the front of the hotel, and two blocks up and you will be smack in the middle of Parque Cristóbal!

Great staff, Miguel was awesome. Across from the beach. Near restaurants and convenience store. The room had a fridge and stove. Kitchen and furniture need an update ASAP. Also need to enforce rules at the pool. When locals arrive there’s no more peace and quiet, they take glass bottles to the pool putting in danger everybody else. They also turn on loud speakers with no regard to other guests.

The location is perfect, the service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. But I don't recommend the beds; my back is still sore from how hard they were. But afterward, everything was great. We just couldn't rest.

Rooms work but they can definitely be better, for the same price you can find better options near the location. Service is good and location is honestly priceless. Food is great, but pool should be cleaned more often, it always had lots of debris, insects and dirtiness, it had a strong chlorine smell.

The hotel itself is solid but nothing extraordinary. Yet the exceptional service—coupled with the staff's genuine eagerness to make every guest feel truly at ease—rivals or even outshines that of a five-star resort. That's reason enough for me to book my next stay there without hesitation.

I stayed at the Alandino during a short trip to Santo Domingo. The room was very nicely done and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor cafe/bar is cigar friendly so smoke it if you've got it. Make sure to have a Presidente while your there.

When it comes to comfort, save and enjoy, I am present there and on this occasion they suggested this hotel and it really was an excellent choice. perfect 15 minutes from the airport and all the restaurants are in the center of 4-8 minutes

The location is very centric. Is a very good option for business and staying the night in Santo Domingo. They served superb Dominican traditional breakfast and staff was very helpful. The checkout is at 1pm which is a huge differenciator in this market. It's an excellent option!

Overall good, but! I originally booked a suite, when we got the suite we checked everything and the closets had a moldy smell, they had us go to all available suites and they had the same issue. I like quiet places. So this hotel fitted my style well, though I needed to put the AC off at night because I could not handle the degree of noise it makes. I know a local who helped me some errands I needed to do. So I cannot talk much about how accessible to services the hotel is. We needed a hotel to spend the night after a late arrival at the Santo Domingo airport. And everything was perfect. Check in at midnight without any problem and a delicious full Dominican breakfast in the morning. Decent rooms with air conditioning that could be regulated correctly. Recommended.
