Cairo, 34B Yehia Ibrahim 🧭 Map
Booked via trip for 2 pax, but Front Desk show me that booking as for only 1 pax. Show her 2-3 times that I booked was 2 pax. But she still say no and called her boss, her boss say OK.
Why I have to waste time on this.
No service, opposite a school, therefore very noisy.
Location good.
Overall, you can spend a couple of days here, everything works!
New star Z hotel is located in a quiet side of the area but we were facing a school, which made the morning a bit of a nightmare to sleep in.
The room was big and overall the stay was good. It has a good design (glass window for the shower for instance) but lacks finition. It didn’t look so clean but after inspection, we realised it was also due to the design. Breakfast was good.
We stayed at the hotel in early April for 5 nights. We booked a two-room suite for two adults and a 9-year-old child. The room is large, each room is equipped with air conditioning. Shower gels and shampoos were given out once on the first day, but I think they would bring more if you asked (we just had our own). The hotel was quiet, we didn't hear our neighbors (3rd floor). Breakfasts are normal,...
The hotel is located in Cairo Sanlitun, surrounded by embassies. The location is very convenient, but it is hard to find. It is in a small alley. Overall it is OK

We had an amazing time here. Wonderful staff, service and food as well! The cats and dogs are also very nice. It’s close to the coast, you can snorkel or swim whenever you want to. But you have to bring your own gear. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Dahab again.
Out of the centre and away from the noise. Wonderful and attentive staff. Good restaurant menu with beautifully cooked food at a reasonable prices.
Great pool with easy step access.
Overall a lovely relaxing day.
We spent three nights in this very nice hotel, we had a great time the staff is so kind, service excellent, hotel clean and in a great location with fantastic view on the sea
The manager Wael was very nice he organized diving for us and gave us the room with mate check out. We really recommend and we will be back again thank you to all !

Great Hospitality, cozy atmosphere, amazing sea view, ambiance is quiet and relaxing
The restaurant is very clean and has a variety of food including tasty Lebanese dishes
The meal portions are very good with reasonable prices
The room is cozy and really clean .. in my opinion, the hotel deserves to take more than 5 stars 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
This place is just a paradise as its name suggests. Perfectly placed between a small jagged hill and the front view of the gorgeous beach. Perfect moon can always be seen clearly at night and sunrise with beach and Saudi Arabia in backdrop. The rooms are not fancy but very comfortable with super air conditioning . A lovely balcony over the pool and all rooms seaview. Such a nice atmosphere and perfect...
Comfortable and relaxing stay close to Dahab centre - 30 mins walk or 10 mins taxi. The pool area was lovely and there are lots of cosy places to relax (and cats to cuddle!) The food was pretty good and the staff were all friendly. All rooms have nice big balconies overlooking the pool and coast. Since it was quiet they were happy to let me check out late which was really helpful.

Good cheap rooms..small fridge inside.. but you can hear others talking in hallways.. free breakfast good value
hotel near to the centre in square. Convenient to the places
The facilities are decent, the transportation is convenient, the environment is nice, the hygiene is acceptable, and guests feel right at home.
The hotel have good service, and It located in place where you go any where easily
I stayed for two days and the accommodation was fairly good for the price. To be honest, the staff were good people, friendly and cheerful. I had a single room, all the facilities worked and the room was clean. I recommend it if you want to relax on a budget.
For the price, it's good. It's acceptable considering what you pay.

the room was quite good, everything worked for us, it has air conditioning that cools extremely well, the terrace is also very nice, we didn't have chairs and as soon as we asked for them we got them, the toilet is also very good, we have no complaints about the room, neat, clean, praise
There is not much interaction for children, in the evening music is played and some people sing, many people gather...
the place was fun, we stayed in the Private Real Estate (926). Though as we arrived the place wasn't clean, as if someone was there before us. Sheets were messy, and there was food in the fridge. They eventually took care of that. The light in the bathroom in the living room was flickering a lot, making it almost impossible to use. The water is weak, only strong in showers, but for some reason the...
The resort is old.
But the staff is very friendly.
Rooms are old but clean.
Towels were worn.
Food is good, breakfast was a bit less good.
If I had to give it a score, it would be a 6.
But for the staff, a 10.
They kept everything neat.
But because everything is old, they did their best.
I cannot talk about the accommodation, because we were hosted in the shallot, which was small houses right next to it, but we had access to all the facilities. First thing, the aquapark is nice, good enough for kids to go there. Next to it, there is a swimming pool with a smaller aquapark, which was also nice, but a smaller. Then, the large pool has a restaurant and a bar, and then there is a really...
When I arrived, I encountered several problems, but the supervisor took the time to talk with me and help resolve them. He was very kind and professional. I also had many positive interactions with some of the employees. They provided great entertainment. Whether it was dancing on the beach or participating in contests, the outside entertainment was enjoyable and refreshing. They offered a nice variety...
Nice location by the beach good food and pools. The entertainment staff would not leave the volleyball for us to play. Drinks need more variety. The entertainment crew is most interested in picking girls than doing their job.

The location is great, right in front of Tahrir Square.
And the reception was friendly and the staff were nice, but...
the problem was, I woke up at 2 a.m., went to the bathroom, and came back
and made eye contact with a rat...
It was the first time I'd ever seen anything like this in my life, lol.
I couldn't sleep after that...
The hotel I booked had electrical issues and directed me to a branch hotel. It was close to the metro station and the breakfast was decent, but the shower drain was poor.
Excellent, as always.
Friendly staff, excellent view.
Not so far museums.
Very good, central location, convenient to everywhere, the waiters are warm and polite, breakfast is full of ritual, there is a police patrol point downstairs, safe and convenient, very good, very good, very good
Disadvantages: On the fifth floor of an old residential building, the service attitude is OK, but the hardware is too poor, like a guesthouse in China in the early 1990s.
The breakfast is not rich either.
Advantages: The location is very good, next to the National Museum, and relatively close to the Nile River, but the Nile River in Cairo is not worth lingering, the scenery is average.
Egyptian...
The hotel is right next to Liberation Square. The location is very good. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the Egyptian Museum. The hotel balcony can also directly see the scene of the museum. Although it is in the old city, it is very convenient to eat and shop around. The hotel facilities are average. The biggest problem is that there are few hair dryers. Breakfast needs some serious improvement. Rooms need a deep clean. Otherwise it is a good location. Some friendly staff
The receptionists were very friendly and professional especially Sara, she’s an amazing receptionist that made our stay very convenient. The breakfast was served to our room, it’s a large quantity and tastes very good
It was a pleasant experience. The receptionist named Sara was amazing and made our stay wonderful and convenient. Very helpful, friendly, and professional. If you need anything, she is always available to help with a smile.
They were absolutely professional and understanding. The front seat because we were Americans were good to us but when we left they checked the room. Other than that it was a nice stay with a flawless room.
are very kind and helpful with us.
WiFi so bad
A good hotel with all good facilities within reasonable cost. Having a restaurant named Bukharest beside it. Very good loctation in regards to connectivity. One can get all sorts of transport all time of a day. Other facilities like grocery, fast-food chains etc are well within reach.

Loved this old hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner, Mr. Nabila, is a wealth of information on all things Egypt. He can also arrange tours and travel. The location in old downtown Cairo is ideal. Room was neat and tidy. A few mosquitos so I would bring a net depending on your level of tolerance.
Golden Hotel is a great place in midtown Cairo. I booked for 4 nights initially. I liked this comfortable hotel and its very friendly staff, so I decided to stay for whole duration of my visit to Egypt - two months. Clean, convenient location, good rates, friendly helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent location in the heart of Cairo Downtown. Rooms are a bit dated and old but very clean. Great budget hotel for exploring all the attractions Downtown. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
Clean facilities and well taken care of... The staff is really polite and always ready to offer support as needed
This hotel is well established and centrally located in Downtown Cairo.Although it des not present well from the street ,it is well appointed once you reach front desk of 3rd floor via classic lift..I would strongly recommend it in this price range....

We checked in very late, around 2:00am, as we arrived back late from Hurghada. We only managed to sleep for about 3 hours before heading out again for our desert tour, but even in such a short stay, the hospitality really stood out.
Thank you so much to the hotel for kindly helping us store our luggage, this small help made a big difference to our travel plans.
A very special thank you to Hazim....
Perfect location on Tahir sq and lovely staff at the reception. However, the room needs improvement starting with getting bed sheets larger than the mattress itself and putting bulbs on the lamps.
It feels like the hotel has just been renovated. There are still traces of construction in the corridor. The overall condition of the room is OK. The hotel is in a good location, but you need to find the entrance. Breakfast is delivered to the room.
Perfect location just across the road from the Museum. The hotel is safe for solo travelers, and there are police officers stationed on the ground floor of the building. Rooms are clean and basic breakfast is served in the room. Be aware of booking any additional services as the manager has the tendency to change the price and request higher price (in my case triple) than the agreed amount at the time...

The staff is pretty nice, helpful but sometimes a few things take a lot of time!
The rooms are ok but one of them was really noisi because of the AC and even the wall and the bed was vibrating because of it!

The location is great for anyone who wants to explore downtown Cairo. It’s close to several important places, including the Nile. The hotel is clean, and the staff are so kind and friendly, especially the team in charge of the breakfast service.
Just one small note: the photos on the website don’t fully reflect the reality of the hotel (not 100%).
Room was generally clean and spacious.
They just need to make sure the sheets/linen are clean, hairs and moldy stains are seen in the sheets.
No elevator. 3 flight of stairs.
Very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel, the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff was really appreciativep p(all of them during our stay), they even go out of their way to guide you through the places to visit in cairo. The cleanliness should really be improved as well as the basic equipment of the room (had to ask for towels, no bed covers, no shower gel/shampoo, no breakfast).
However, it is very well located and I would like to give a special mention to one of the ladies at reception who went out of her way to keep my bag after check out while I visited Cairo.
The room are cheap so you shouldn't expect a 5*, however...
Centrally located , very convenient, cosy room. it would have been better had there been a mirror and a dustbin in the room and a hook to keep the towel in the bathroom.
The service is very good. Break fast and coffee are fine. The service of staff especially Mr. Bishnoy and miss Nourhan are excellent.

The location is very good. The staff has been very helpful in taking care of all our requests. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was sumptuous. Entering the hotel lobby, you feel old Cairo and you could see who stayed there in the 60’s and 70’s. If you want to really experience Cairo you have to stay downtown Cairo and at the old hotels. The hospitality of the staff may not be 5star, but it is certainly genuine.
The room is relatively large, but it is difficult to find. It is next to a large carousel, so if you take a taxi, it is best to locate the pharmacy. Otherwise, it will be difficult to park and find the hair dryer. You have to go to the front desk to get it.
Room didn’t have tools, shower no curtain, make sure to have your own soap and shampoo. Room was extremely cheap, and was worth the price.
True flavor of downtown Cairo!
This was downtown Cairo. The hotel actually started on the 6th floor. Elevator and entrance needed a good cleaning to say the least. The room was spotlessly clean however! Bed comfortable. Bathroom spoteless EXCEPT floor drain oozed what appeared to be clean water keeping floor wet...no bathmat or any way to sop up water and managment no help either. Enjoyed the...
The building needs to have better maintenance and more clean.
