3 star hotels in Egypt

Booked via trip for 2 pax, but Front Desk show me that booking as for only 1 pax. Show her 2-3 times that I booked was 2 pax. But she still say no and called her boss, her boss say OK. Why I have to waste time on this.

No service, opposite a school, therefore very noisy. Location good.

Overall, you can spend a couple of days here, everything works!

New star Z hotel is located in a quiet side of the area but we were facing a school, which made the morning a bit of a nightmare to sleep in. The room was big and overall the stay was good. It has a good design (glass window for the shower for instance) but lacks finition. It didn’t look so clean but after inspection, we realised it was also due to the design. Breakfast was good.

We stayed at the hotel in early April for 5 nights. We booked a two-room suite for two adults and a 9-year-old child. The room is large, each room is equipped with air conditioning. The hotel is located in Cairo Sanlitun, surrounded by embassies. The location is very convenient, but it is hard to find. It is in a small alley. Overall it is OK

We had an amazing time here. Wonderful staff, service and food as well! The cats and dogs are also very nice. It’s close to the coast, you can snorkel or swim whenever you want to. But you have to bring your own gear. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Dahab again.

This place is just a paradise as its name suggests. Perfectly placed between a small jagged hill and the front view of the gorgeous beach. Perfect moon can always be seen clearly at night and sunrise with beach and Saudi Arabia in backdrop. The rooms are not fancy but very comfortable with super air conditioning . Comfortable and relaxing stay close to Dahab centre - 30 mins walk or 10 mins taxi. The pool area was lovely and there are lots of cosy places to relax (and cats to cuddle!) The food was pretty good and the staff were all friendly. All rooms have nice big balconies overlooking the pool and coast. Since it was quiet they were happy to let me check out late which was really helpful.

I stayed for two days and the accommodation was fairly good for the price. To be honest, the staff were good people, friendly and cheerful. I had a single room, all the facilities worked and the room was clean. I recommend it if you want to relax on a budget.

Nice location by the beach good food and pools. The entertainment staff would not leave the volleyball for us to play. Drinks need more variety. The entertainment crew is most interested in picking girls than doing their job.

Loved this old hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner, Mr. Nabila, is a wealth of information on all things Egypt. He can also arrange tours and travel. The location in old downtown Cairo is ideal. Room was neat and tidy. A few mosquitos so I would bring a net depending on your level of tolerance.

Golden Hotel is a great place in midtown Cairo. I booked for 4 nights initially. I liked this comfortable hotel and its very friendly staff, so I decided to stay for whole duration of my visit to Egypt - two months. Clean, convenient location, good rates, friendly helpful staff. We checked in very late, around 2:00am, as we arrived back late from Hurghada. We only managed to sleep for about 3 hours before heading out again for our desert tour, but even in such a short stay, the hospitality really stood out. Perfect location just across the road from the Museum. The hotel is safe for solo travelers, and there are police officers stationed on the ground floor of the building. You can specify the breakfast time and request what you want to eat. You have to request room cleaning, such as changing bath towels and emptying the trash. It was nice that the plugs didn't need to be changed. There's a hotel sign at the entrance, but it's on the 5th floor, so it's difficult to get there without the elevator. I spent one night with my family in what appears to be a newly renovated 2 room studio apartment.. the room was clean and well furnished with a nice view on the sea ... unfortunately it does not have access to the beach but for my requirements was more than satisfactory... would consider it again if they keep the level of cleanliness...

Good room with affordable cost but the room needs some fixes and cleaning, the closed is literally broken and you have a stupid chair too, I don't know why they don't fix these small things, they won't cost them more than $60 or so, and the same for the bathroom, it just needs some small fixes, that's all.

Entering the hotel lobby, you feel old Cairo and you could see who stayed there in the 60’s and 70’s. If you want to really experience Cairo you have to stay downtown Cairo and at the old hotels. The hospitality of the staff may not be 5star, but it is certainly genuine.

The room is relatively large, but it is difficult to find. It is next to a large carousel, so if you take a taxi, it is best to locate the pharmacy. Otherwise, it will be difficult to park and find the hair dryer. You have to go to the front desk to get it.

The photos of the room shown were completely different from the actual room. The owner of the inn? spoke fluent Japanese and offered tours and taxis, but when I refused, he became extremely grumpy.
