The service is good overall. However, the hotel is quite pushy when it comes to tours, so some people may not like it.

Simple but clean structure, excellent breakfast with a view of the pyramids, friendly and welcoming staff

Right next to the pyramids, you can see the pyramids and the Sphinx from the rooftop bar. The reception staff were also kind and recommended some great local spots. It's very affordable, so I definitely recommend it!

It's located at the back of the pyramids, but it's tucked away in an alley, so it might be difficult to find when you first check in. The rooms are small but clean, and shampoo and body wash are provided. It's a good value, but please note that the view of the pyramids is somewhat obstructed by the hotel rooftop in the alley (only two pyramids are visible).

4th September monthly stay We treat ourselves to a stay once a month. The hotel always gives excellent service and outstanding value for money. If you don’t like walking or steps then this isn’t for you but other than that it’s great. We will be back in October

The room was clean, and the Nile view room offered a beautiful view of the Nile and the opposite bank. There seemed to be Wi-Fi, but the signal was so weak that I didn't use it. You can see the Nile room the balcony, if you choose "River side". The location for sightseeing is also good. The building was very old, and equipment was not in good condition, too.

The New Pola Hotel is a good choice, especially if you value cleanliness and a GREAT internet connection. The Nile view is also a big plus. However, the significant noise from the road is a serious drawback. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options.

It's located quite far from Marsa Alam Airport, 180 km, almost a 2.5-hour drive. The area is large, but there's no real beach. The entrance is rocky. There's a pier. The food is good.

The service is excellent. At night, it's close to the souk, so it can get noisy outside; earplugs are a must. This is a reasonably priced guesthouse in the area. It's quiet, has a hairdryer, and the owner is friendly. There's a popular seafood restaurant downstairs, making it convenient to get around.

The hotel has 24/7 check-in. The room was very spacious. The owner even upgraded our room. The hotel is located right on the main road, opposite many restaurants and convenience stores. American Teacher's Egyptian Weekend in Luxor Luxor was a weekend getaway and we needed an affordable place to stay. I found Philippe Luxor Hotel to be a charming, albeit older hotel, with an amazing staff who catered to our every need. We fell in love with them.

Location and price are its only two advantages. The environment and hygiene are really bad; showering is inconvenient, the water pressure is extremely low, hot water is intermittent, and while there is Wi-Fi, it's poor and connecting is a hassle.

The hotel has a stunning ocean view!! The staff were friendly, the omelette at breakfast was delicious, and there was even a little cat 🐈⬛. However, since it was December when I went, the sea breeze was quite strong, so I couldn't swim. I ended up spending a few days sunbathing by the hotel pool, which was still very relaxing.

Aside from the hotel's location, which offers panoramic views of the town and the beautiful sea from the hilltop, everything else was terrible, especially the Wi-Fi. I won't come back... The air in Egypt is dusty, and basically everyone is either indifferent or overly friendly but actually trying to rip you off.
