A magnificent hotel with wonderful staff. For my birthday, the couple presented me with a huge cake and threw a real celebration. Everything was very clean and beautiful. You can even walk to the Temple of Ramses. The bus station is nearby, a landmark.

it had a variety of products to sell. everything we needed to prepare for a trip was there, but it was hard to find the products and I had to constantly ask the shopkeeper where I could find them. the cashier was slow and the people took a lot of time to pay but the prices make up for the slow service.

The service at the hotel itself was very good. However, I am lowering my rating because the hotel driver was terrible. I used their driver, paid $20, and went on a tour of Cairo city. The driver only accompanied me to the restaurant, ordered a lot, and I paid 560 EGP for the meal. He took out what we couldn't finish. On top of that, I paid a good tip. Mohamed was a good host and good communication and was very helpful. We did not get the apartment that we had reserved, he did put us in a different building. But our rooms did not have a view, which was why I booked it in the first place. In Egypt things are just run alittle different. Always check prices, everyone is trying to get as much money out of you as possible.
