They are not trustworthy; I have never experienced such disrespect in any hotel around the world. I booked my room at a specific building located in Talaat Harb Square No. 1. However, when I arrived, the manager and the receptionist informed me that my room was not available and that I would have to move to another room in a different building. They misled me by stating that the other building was adjacent to theirs, which turned out to be false.

I had to check in because I had a very important appointment; otherwise, I would never have accepted this change. The other place had a foul odor upon entry, and they don’t even provide breakfast, which was included in my original payment.

I do not recommend dealing with such management.

Great location, but there's no sign on the building's facade. The soundproofing is terrible; you can hear the neighbors very clearly.

So friendly and professional working staff!!

As a group of 5 friends in 2 rooms, they keep our rooms clean for all the 6 nights.

Lovely breakfast as well! Every day they serve breakfast of local type-bread, amazing cheeses, yogurt, marmalade/chocolate/honey, boiled/fried eggs, coffee, fresh juices (safe!) One day, we had to leave early for a day trip and prepared our food to boxes-to-go!

Felt really welcome and they heard our needs of really early check-in and later check-out!

Very pleasant trip overall, with our hotel location in a safe area in the city center, close to drug store, mini market, cafes, restaurants.

I had a terrible experience at the New Royal Grand Hotel in Cairo. From the moment I checked in, the service was incredibly poor. The worst part? I heard rats in my room at night. When I reported it to the staff, they didn’t believe me—until I had to record the rats myself as proof. Only then did they move me to another room.

The new room wasn’t much better, and by that point I was so disgusted and exhausted that I just left early and went straight to the airport. On top of everything, they tried to add extra hidden charges to my booking.

This place was unsanitary, unprofessional, and very unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the stress—stay somewhere else.

The staff are very friendly. The bed and bedding were very clean and nice. The breakfast was just adequate, 2 boiled eggs, 1 bread, 1cheese triangle, and 1 jam. Tea or coffee, but no milk for tea. We had to wait 50 minutes for breakfast to arrive. The location is fabulous, in the heart of downtown Cairo. The hotel is a bit tired and we had issues with the waste pipe in the sink, it went all over the floor in the bathroom. It was OK for the money, but stayed in much better places in this location for the same cost.

Bad experience at the hotel. Heard the sound of rats while sleeping and called hotel management which did nothing and told us they would check the situation, no action was taken. The sheets were full of hair, bathtubs were dirty and we could not use the bathroom comfortably . Asked to have one of our rooms cleaned, only one was somewhat cleaner when we returned. Great location, but I would suggest looking for a better and cleaner hotel. Also could not close the bathroom door!
