Thanks to the staff at Basma for providing an unforgettable honeymoon arrangement.
The bed was one of the few that was exceptionally comfortable.
Many people seem to say the service was terrible, but I didn't experience that at all.
The rooms weren't as good as Atour or Ji Hotel, and at 1300 RMB a night, it was definitely a bit pricey! I stayed for two days. The hotel is a short walk from the Nubian Museum, and a short walk further down is the Old Falls, making the location very convenient. There's a Carrefour supermarket opposite the Old Falls, and a pretty good Chinese restaurant across from Carrefour.
Waking up in the morning...
Arriving at 9 am, I only planned to leave my luggage at the hotel, but the front desk helped me check in early 🙏; since I couldn't find anything to eat on my early flight, they arranged breakfast for me, $15 per person, which is a normal price. The scenery was truly comparable to the old falls. In Aswan, it felt like the inside and outside of the hotel were two different worlds; the hotel was safe...
Nestled on a hill overlooking the Nile, this hotel offers panoramic views of the river and the famous Old Falls. The rooms are fully equipped, and the balconies are dedicated viewing platforms – perfect for relaxing in a rocking chair, enjoying the breeze and the view.
The view was decent, and the breakfast was simple but acceptable. The real problem was the terrible facilities and soundproofing. Add to that the presence of other Chinese guests nearby, and their combined negativity created a nuisance that lasted from morning till night – it was utterly disgusting.
The balcony is beautiful, offering a panoramic view of the Nile River. It's very close to the Old Falls hotel, and the hotel also serves lunch and dinner at reasonable prices with decent taste. Breakfast, however, is a bit basic. The service is excellent, and the staff are very welcoming.

The hotel itself is very old, the staff make up for the outdated hotel, been quite friendly. Just please be very careful when checking in, I paid by credit card & was then asked to pay with US dollars. My credit card has gone through my bank (but been in a foreign country, it showed a few days later) I did get it reversed, just a heads-up
Marhaba Aswan Hotel is a budget-friendly accommodation option located in the heart of Aswan, Egypt. The hotel offers rooms with views of the Nile River, providing guests with a scenic experience. The rooms are spacious, but our friends have noted minor maintenance issues, such as leaky shower heads.
The hotel's central location is a significant advantage, being situated near the Aswan train station...
I've never been better taken care of than at the Marhaba! The staff was attentive and proactive, the location was perfect, my room was comfortable -- with a phenomenal Nile view!
Cheap hotel but the hygiene is not good
And the room is normal quality
Nice place with well manor stuff
The staff are friendly and very helpful. It's close to the train station and the rooms have a nice view, they need a few updates though. Overall it's an okay stay for a few nights.

Excellent stay at the Pearl Hotel for six nights. The perfect location, incredibly comfortable and spotless room, and truly wonderful staff made it an ideal home base. The little touches, made all the difference. Highly recommend for any extended visit.
We had a wonderful stay. Close to Road 9, many restaurants, pharmacy, market. A friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location and very walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
Staff were super nice and service oriented. Room service food was good. Hotel was quiet and in a great location. Thank you
Good Overall and the people are nice there.
Very much enjoyed my stay here. Clean, modern, comfortable and welcoming hotel with friendly staff. Sensibly priced and well located in the centre of Maadi (handily placed right next to superb Asian restaurant!). Recommended and im looking forward to revisiting for a longer stay. Thanks to all concerned.

We stayed 2 nights here whilst in Luxor. This is a beautiful, tranquil setting and a very pretty hotel design. The bed was comfortable, the shower good, and the gardens and pool area are lovely. There was a little shop just down the street from the hotel which was handy. Breakfast buffet had a good choice and we ate in the garden. They also do evening meals but we were not hungry enough to eat...
I was let down by a family member so I travelled by myself. I arrived at the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. I took a few trips with the hotel's driver/guides. The prices were fair. The food was good and the service was exceptional. Karim and the staff really put me at ease. The room was lovely and clean. Very spacious. The shower was lovely and hot. The pool was very...
Lovely room, simple but delicious breakfast and very lovely staff. Great value for money.
This appealing mid-range hotel (price-wise) feels like a higher-end boutique property. A serene hotel on the west bank where you hear donkeys and cockerels rather than cars. The 10min walk to the ferry, whilst unpaved, is easy and I was able to park my rental car. Architecturally the property is fabulous, at night it looks like a little cathedral. Appealing garden, lovely pool. Great food. Large...
This hotel is a total oasis within the very basic surrounding area. It matches the online photos, definitely has lots of visual wow factor.
We were grateful for the simple daily breakfast supplied, wouldn't know where to find anything otherwise.
The pool is the star of this hotel, we loved venturing out morning and evening to explore Luxor and returning in-between to enjoy the pool for a few hours...
I loved this property and wish I could have stayed in Luxor for longer - I only stayed there for two days. The hotel is tiktok and instagram friendly so good for making travel content if that's what you are after. Hotel staff was friendly and helped me arrange my trip to banana island and the hotel airballoon ride.
Staff was always down to help whenever needed and would highly recommend this hotel...

Nice hotel, acceptable, a little noisy, it is on the road and the windows are not soundproof. However, we had a good time in the complex. Nice New Year's Eve dinner. The wi-fi does not work in the rooms, only in the hall. It is in the center and from the 5th floor from the window of the room you can see the street of the sphinxes.
Location is very good, easy to get to all amenities Hotel badly in need of refurbishment and some painting was being done leaving an overwhelming odour throughout. Rooms were clean enough and staff were friendly, alarmed that most fire doors were propped open Breakfast was very average with many of the components being left in their dishes overnight The rooftop pool looked very inviting and there...
Good location and rooms, but still missing a good service

The river view is absolutely stunning, offering a distant view of the Philae Temple. The gardens and trees within the resort are also beautiful, giving off a 'White Lotus Resort' vibe. Dinner included a live performance by local Nubians, which was very chill. Breakfast was delicious.
The downsides are: ① The front desk service was incredibly slow to respond. It took most of the day to get a router...
This hotel was a delightful surprise on our trip. Located on an island in the Nile, it requires a boat trip to get in and out. The hotel's blue and white theme is reminiscent of Santorini. The sunrise and sunset views from the hotel were breathtaking, and the à la carte dinner was great value for money.
Our stay at Benben was a bit of a mixed one.
If you are someone who has a lot of time on your hands and you want to take photos for instagram and do not care about water supply/shower issue, this may be the right place for you.
On the other hand, if you have travel schedule planned and not too flexible with time (e.g., Abu Simbel day trip) and care about sleep quality, this is not the place for...
Everything was perfect except for the inconsistent hot and cold water 😍
The service was good. There were quite a few flies in the room, but it was clean and tidy. The food also tasted great.
The rooms were decent, and the views were nice, but the shuttle service was absolutely terrible! I'm extremely dissatisfied! There was a black guy at the front desk with a really bad attitude; he was right there but just wouldn't pick up the phone. I called reception so many times, but he never answered! Located in a calm and pleasant neighbourhood in Luxor's west bank, the El Nakhil Hotel is a good find where one can stretch their legs and relax well after a tiring tour to the nearby places. Although the building was a bit old, it was well-cleaned and maintained, making it very tidy. The shower had no issues with hot water, which was very comfortable. I was very satisfied with everything.
In particular, Youssef, the owner (I think), was extremely kind.
If you're staying in Luxor, I can recommend this hotel without any reservations.
Everything was great! The hotel is very clean. It has a swimming pool. Also it has a restaurant on the roof. The food in restaurant is perfect, very good! People on the reception and in restaurant are very kind
Everything was wonderful! The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Youssef and Abdallah. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, and you can see how much care goes into keeping it nice. The hotel also has a pool with sun loungers available for guests, which is perfect after a day of exploring.
Ferry port is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Highly recommended for a stay in Luxor.

It's close to the station, but the road to the hotel is not well-maintained (this is true throughout Egypt), so if you have large luggage, it might be better to take a taxi. The free shuttle boat to and from the east coast is very convenient. We stayed for two days (we regretted staying at the Ibero Hotel on the east coast for the last three days), and the service was excellent! It's our favorite place in Luxor! Highly recommended!
If you're looking for the best hotel in Luxor, it's Geoffrey's Palace. The butler is excellent and very classy. Most importantly, the hotel is incredibly photogenic, with tasteful and aesthetically pleasing interior design. It's like a castle, and you can take a boat to the east bank; it's situated on the west bank of the Nile. The regular price isn't high, but it's truly beautiful.
Cleanliness: A very new hotel with a very comfortable overall environment. There are over 20 staff members for the 20 rooms.
Facilities: Comfortable and fully equipped.
Environment: The previous rooms were quite comfortable, very peaceful in the mornings and evenings.
Service: One of the breakfast staff members was very helpful and tipping is acceptable.
The hotel boasts distinctive decor, warm service, beautiful architecture, exclusive Nile River views, a private dock and ferry terminal, but its location is somewhat remote and not very convenient to access by taxi.
The hotel is beautiful, but the cleanliness could be improved. The service was good, and if the hygiene were a bit better, it would be perfect! It's a hotel many people would want to experience. I've been wanting to stay here for over three years, and today I finally got to stay.
We had an excellent stay at Djorff Palace on the peaceful West bank of Luxor. The hotel is beautifully crafted with large spacious rooms (many with balconies over looking the Nile). We had a great welcome from the owner and staff which made us feel right at home. We would definitely return if in Egypt again.

It is easy to find, the transportation is convenient, and it is not noisy. After checking in, I found that the room is large, the bedding is clean, and the heat is hot. The water is strong. I have stayed in the well-known Cleopatra Hotel...

However, service...
The hotel is clean.
The room is really big and good space.
The price is little high for it's category.
The location is perfect and you are close to market, cafes, train station and Nile decks.
The staff there is kind.
Breakfast 🥞 is horrible
It’s part of my tour staying @ this hotel. So I don’t know how much the tour agency paid per night. Probably a budget hotel.
The location is just 2 min or less walking distance from Aswan railway station, many restaurants or shops around here.
Hair dryer is not available, air conditioner doesn’t work well n quite hot inside the room, water is leaking everywhere from the hose when I use shower, adapter...
