Very kind staff and hostress, no push of trips and the room is really clean.
Very comfy spacious and cute place, great for photos taking!
The room was clean and hygienic, with a balcony. The towels were folded into a 🔥 shape, which was very nice. The sockets there were all Chinese-compatible, so no adapter was required, which was great.
This hotel is located on the west bank of Luxor. It is in a residential area, so it was very quiet. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. I highly recommend it.
The hotel is on the west bank of Luxor. You don’t need to get up early to go hot air ballooning in the morning. You don’t need to take a ferry to cross the Nile to go to the Valley of the Kings and Habu City. There were only a few of us, and the hotel staff were very welcoming to us. The hotel has a small garden and the environment is very quiet. However, the hotel's breakfast and a la carte are not...
The location is very good, just on the west bank of the Nile, very close to the Valley of the Kings, Habu City, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The hotel is a typical Egyptian house with a beautiful and comfortable courtyard. The boss and his staff are very welcoming and the service is attentive.

Room was clean, comfortable and very cute. Nice view of the Nile from my balcony. The staff here were wonderful! The food was great too. I really enjoyed the peaceful location and this hotel was a surprising great value. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Was my favorite hotel on our entire Egypt trip.
View of river ok,no beach access,
The room was clean and great to stay in, West bank is a more rustic/ authentic experience of Luxor in general. Staff was courteous and treated us well! Would stay again if I visited
Charming, Traditional and Calm Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of...
Excellent service. Nice people. Great room. Tons of space. The only thing that I didn’t care was the shower with no door. Water came out every where. Kitchen countertops were very dusty.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this boutique hotel in Luxor. I really can't say enough positive about it. The food was excellent and mostly grown on the property. We were served the same breakfast each morning and I wish we would have had something a little different each day. But, everything was delicious and fresh. They brought more food than we could even eat. The staff went out...

I loved it, very nice hidden gem, by the Nile bank, amazing view in the morning, breakfast was ok, service was ok, I recommend this place, and definitely I will stay there again
Breakfast needs to be substantial
Sail away from Cairo’s chaos on a private yacht toward the peaceful town of El Qanater. Enjoy a light onboard breakfast during the 2-hour cruise. Upon arrival, indulge in a traditional countryside meal (feteer, honey, tea), followed by a scenic horse carriage ride and photo stops at the waterfalls. We'll then visit the unique Irrigation Museum, before giving you time to relax or explore more. Optional...

Fantastic hotel. Amazing location, great food, friendly staff and lovely rooms. We loved Abu Simbel and plan to revisit. When we do we will stay at Tuya Hotel again.
We stayed at this hotel one night while visiting Abu Simbel with Djed Egypt Travels. The hotel is very close to the Abu Simbel temples making it the perfect location for visiting the temples. The Nubian style rooms were large and clean with comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and adequate outlets for charging phones, etc. The rooms and hotel had domed ceilings typical of the Nubian style. The staff...
The best in Abu Simbel, the location is excellent, steps away from the great temple of Ramses II. There are also free bicycles in the hotel. Very good food. Also, the cafeteria has all kinds of juices and shisha .the hotel staff are respectful friendly and helpful
what a great hotel it is!!Warm reception from the staff on arrival, welcome drinks, cozy decent rooms, comfortable bed & fluffy pillows, great food at the restaurant and ready packed breakfast at 5-30 and a lot!!!made feel us at home. The location was great. The room was very clean with great decorations. Also there was free WI-FI in the hotel premises and in the rooms. Excellent staff and they were...
Superb location and very clean, and comfortable hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming doing their best to ensure that we had a wonderful experience visiting the temples at Abu Simbel. We stayed in the Ptahotep room which is huge and has the most amazing bathroom! Two large comfortable beds that were warm and cosy providing a great nights sleep. The hostel is very nice for the orice what you get woth breakfest included is more than good. The location is very busy during the day with a lot of street vandors and bazars.
Passable for a budget stay. Not many hotels in that same road.
This hostel in Luxor was just a few minutes from Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, which made sightseeing very easy. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. One guide he arranged for us behaved very badly with some girls in our group, and the host immediately took responsibility, complained about the guide, and refunded our money. He also helped us book tours and always spoke politely...
The rooftop was very comfortable. The room was just the right size. It had a bathtub and was very comfortable. However, it was noisy outside until late at night.
The host is friendly and nice, public areas nice, I enjoyed my breakfast there! The bathroom was a bit embarrassing, and the location is a little bit distance, it’s very difficult to get Uber or inDrive to there, be aware if you have big luggage.
Tamay20251009 Egypt, Luxor I have stayed single room without bathroom. The room is very small. Bathroom is too small. But Price is cheap.then I can accept them. Break fast is nice for me. I must say More one point. It's not easy to find this Hotel. Have a nice day.

The service stuff was very friendly. Rooms are ok, basic but compared to local standarts ok. There was TV and a fridge on the room. Was not noisy and clean enough. My bed even had a new mattress. Refering to our cheap budget this was the best place we could get.

This is my favourite place in Luxor. We spent 10 days in Luxor and loved this hotel. The facilities are brilliant and the staff are wonderful. It’s just so relaxing and such a nice little hotel, the feeling is just perfect, it’s a getaway from the busy street across the Nile. The West Bank is wonderful in general but I loved it here 👍
So good please and nice stuff they professional and kind people. We enjoyed our time there in West Bank of Luxor. The pool was amazing and garden, the food was delicious too take breakfast there then stat round in West Bank early morning was great.
It's a nice place to stay, you have a view on the Luxor Temple on the other side of the river, the staff is really friendly and helpful, the rooms are okay for Egypt. We stayed one night her.
The Mesala is a gem of a hotel, a precious, family run hotel on the West Bank of Luxor overlooking the Nile River and Luxor Temples. It's a spectacular view. The rooms at the front have balconies and are comfortable and clean. The sun rises to your left and sets to your right so you are basking in glorious sunshine all day long but can close the balcony doors if you prefer it cooler. The Roof Terrace...
Al Mesala Hotel is well-situated on the west bank of the Nile, making it one of the best locations in Luxor. However, getting there can be tricky. If you arrive by air or bus, you’ll need to take a cab to the east bank, then cross the river by ferry. Otherwise, if you take a cab directly across the bridge, be prepared for a high fare due to the long detour. The hotel rooms are decent, with balconies...

Excellent time at this friendly place. Laura was incredibly helpful with organising local experiences, as well as ferry transport to the West Bank. Room was clean and service friendly and generous; location was amazing as well (breakfast right by the Nile!).
Baba Dool is an idyllic space, traditionally built, and with stunning aspects from the water’s edge, offering unrestricted views over one of the prettiest parts of the Nile, across to the desert banks beyond. We watched birds fishing in the Nile waters, and feluccas and motor boats gliding past. Baba Dool is owned and run by Rauya, an inspiring and locally respected businesswoman. She was an attentive...
What a fabulous place right on the river nile where you can sit and watch the world go by in a relaxed, unhassled environment or go for a swim. Baba dool was the first Nubian guest house on elephantine island and provides a truly authentic experience. The owner is an extremely capable and welcoming lady and organised everything we asked for very reasonable prices. Baba dool is easy to get to on the...
Rooms are excellent value. Service was very good with a meet and greet followed by arranging all our trips. All given with warm Nubian hospitality. Location: being on the west side of elephantine island, it is quieter. It is right on the river with botanical gardens island (Kitchener island) just across with sand dune hills beyond. Bird life is amazing. Get up early and sit and watch the amazing river...
Staying at Baba Dool was one of the highlights of my trip to Aswan. The location is fantastic — right on the Nile with amazing panoramic views of the river and nature all around. The whole place is super calm and serene, no noise, just peace and fresh air. What really makes it special is the people. Hagga Rawiya and the family are incredibly welcoming, generous, and full of warmth. Their kindness and...
We have stopped here as part of our "Nubian Village" experience while cruising up the Nile river. We were provided some bread and "filo dough" and molasses/halva/spicy sauce + hot mint tea or cold hibiscus tea - I thought it was a pleasant visit and the atmosphere inside the house (and now I learn a hotel) was very lively. This is a highly recommended hotel who wish to spend their free time in the heart of the Nubian village. It is located very close to the bustling tourist street market and is on close proximity to the Nile river at the west bank of Aswan. I would say a stay at this place would give one an entry point to African culture. The food served in the hotel's restaurant is very tasty and I vouch for their chicken...
It's located in the heart of Nubian Village's downtown area (?) and right next to the pier, making it easily accessible from the boat. It seems like it's just barely accessible by car (depending on the day). The rooms are cute, and while not exactly hotel-like, they're well-maintained. Contrary to reviews, there was someone at the front desk both morning and night. I was worried about my early morning...
This is a fantastic guesthouse, located in the heart of Nubian village, next to the main pier. The rooms are clean and hygienic, fully equipped, and the service is attentive and welcoming. Breakfast is also excellent. It boasts a rich local culture, and the Nile River is right outside the door. There are many beaches within 500 meters, attracting many swimmers. Overall, it offers great value for money...
A wonderful location, with excellent service and breakfast. Would highly recommend, I loved being right by the Nile for meals
The hotel is right by the Nile River, and the whole street is blue, as if you have entered a fairy tale world. This hotel is very cheap, with a good environment and Mediterranean style. The breakfast is freshly made, and the price per night is only one or two hundred. The only drawback is that the bathroom is not separated into dry and wet areas, but the price and service are worth it. I will stay...
I heard that the more prosperous part of Aswan is the east bank of the Nile, but this is a small hotel in a Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile. If you have a chartered car, you can stay in the village to experience the Nubian culture (there is a section of road under construction into the village, it is not easy to walk and it is very dark at night). You can see the sunrise over the Nile when...

The hotel was nice and staff were so kind. What the hotel doesn’t have any shadow they couldn’t provide me any shadow and I had to pay from the airport to the hotel and hotel to the airport.
Nice hotel near in Nubian village. Friendly staff.
Small clean colourful rooms, very friendly staff. It's not a hotel, it's a guest house to feel nubian living style house rooms have AC and no TV or mini bar. Small toilet with separate tub out side. Water is available with roof cafe nice and good view
What you see is what you get, very lovely place. The whole village is dopamine style super cute! Breakfast is delicious. You can eat it on the balcony with a great view. You can see the Nile River directly! The sister at the B&B also took me to touch a small crocodile for free! Super great experience! This small village is particularly suitable for strolling and relaxing for a day!
nice place, friendly staff , clean rooms Breakfast is nice rooms with a view are very limited a lot of stairs to reach your room bathrooms have swing doors like the one in bar or restaurants (limited privacy) bathroom amenities are very limited close to the local market need a private car to reach the place or get back to the train station which is expensive

Very nice hotel with a magnificent rooftop over the Nile. The surroundings are very charming and peaceful. The host is very welcoming and arranged meals as well as several excursions for us very easily. I can only recommend !
Very pleasant stay at El Prince Guesthouse, quiet with its terrace overlooking the Nile. Easy to get to Aswan. The host, Amgad, is very friendly and available to make excursions at very reasonable prices. He takes care of everything and we can ask him to take us by boat to see the surrounding islands. Abu Simbel is also possible. St. Simeon Monastery is particularly beautiful.
Great service and great beds! They kinda locked us out but it was a fun adventure to climb a tree and break into our room! They even took us back to our cruise ship themselves so that’s a plus!
My wife and I stayed at Prince Guesthouse. We loved it. Staff was friendly and accommodating and Elephantine Island is super chill and a quick and cheap boat ride to get there (10 Egyptian pounds each way per person). From the dock about a 5 minute walk to the hostal. The views from terrace up top are great. Room and bathroom very basic but again the vibe is super chill.
El prince guesthouse was a really beautiful guesthouse in the middle of the nile in the elephantine island!! The view from the roof was amazing and the stuff were really friendly , polite and ready to help us with every little detail from making sth to drink or eat to give any info for the place or get us to the other side!! Stuff also arranged us a ride with the camels to monastery of saint simon...
Where do I begin. If you're staying in Aswan, you have to stay on Elephantine Island and if you're staying on Elephantine Island you have to stay in El Prince. What a beautiful, beautiful location. Elephantine Island deserves to be its' own country. Our experience on the Alexander the Great Nile cruise was truly exceptional. The food selection was impressive—diverse, delicious, and beautifully presented at every meal. The cabins were surprisingly large, very clean, and offered a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. We loved...
Really excellent experience on this vessel. It was our first ever cruise and exceeded expectations. The cabin was very comfortable and larger than others we saw, the food was superb, the staff were friendly and attentive. We travelled with "Discover Egypt". We had two knowledgeable Egyptologist guides (Muhammed and Ahmed) between 15 passengers meaning our groups were smaller than most of the others...
We did a 4 night trip from Luxor to Aswan over New Year 2025. The experience was fabulous. The vessel is great and has real charm and character, but what made the trip so enjoyable were the crew. Every member of the crew was helpful, friendly, and seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with the passengers. We have been lucky enough to stay in quite a few ‘fancy’ hotels but I would say that the service...
To start with, do not look for luxury and pretentiousness, but for excellent service, rooms and food. They have plenty of them. All the group enjoyed the 3 days we spent there, and I would really recommend the place for its comfort and reataurant. I'd certainly returns if possible. Special mention with honours to the Pastry Chef .
This cruise exceeded my expectations. Spacious cabins, wonderful sundeck, excellent food, smooth cruising, small capacity relative to other boats and service oriented staff made for a very enjoyable time. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing...

Everyone seemed to take pride in their work and strived to provide a great experience. We bought tours separately and our tor guide, Hamed, was excellent. We had a great experience on board the royal ruby. The staff was warm, very accommodating, and hospitable towards our family. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The boat is great, the staff is amazing and kind and the food excellent, especially the egyptian dishes!! It was an unforgetable experience everyone should take. My overall opinion about how lovable Egyptian are is mostly because of this cruise!
We stayed for a few nights as part of a Travel Talk tour. The rooms and ship overall are very dated now, probably from the 1980s, in need of refurbishment. The carpets were quite dusty and the rooms had a bit of that old tobacco smell to them as if they used to all be smoking rooms. The bathtub-shower had scratches on the bottom which looked like hairs but were just scratches so unable to be removed...
We took a 3 night cruise on the Jaz Jubilee as part of a longer tour. The staff aboard were well mannered and did their best to provide a 5 star service. There was free car parking available, I liked the dancing and the vibes it was enthusiastic. The program should have 2 hours cruising in the Nile, but we had only 1 hour, yet it was great enjoying the view. The concern was that the terrible buffet they had had, with dirty serving plates and poor quality food. I say it is Ok price in general compared to the service.
Went there with my mom for an Iftar gathering. It's fairly close, at an early point of Maadi's Nile. Food portion was OK, taste was OK, nothing fancy or outstanding. It was like a home-cooked meal.
