The room was clean, and the Nile view room offered a beautiful view of the Nile and the opposite bank. There seemed to be Wi-Fi, but the signal was so weak that I didn't use it. The hotel was clean and not far Karnak and Luxor Temples. They also booked a tour of The Valley Of The Kings for a reasonable price. I would stay there again.

You can see the Nile room the balcony, if you choose "River side". The location for sightseeing is also good. The building was very old, and equipment was not in good condition, too.

The New Pola Hotel is a good choice, especially if you value cleanliness and a GREAT internet connection. The Nile view is also a big plus. However, the significant noise from the road is a serious drawback. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options.

The service is excellent. At night, it's close to the souk, so it can get noisy outside; earplugs are a must. We stayed here for a total of 3 days. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. For a 3 star hotel it's above average. Good for the money you pay for. I only didn't like the breakfast that much

American Teacher's Egyptian Weekend in Luxor Luxor was a weekend getaway and we needed an affordable place to stay. I found Philippe Luxor Hotel to be a charming, albeit older hotel, with an amazing staff who catered to our every need. We fell in love with them.

Excellent location. On could take felucca or a motor boat to start a day trip. The hotel also offers free sunset cruising. All staff are friendly and restaurants are located at water front. Rooms are quite small though and bathroom is outdated. We enjoyed our stay of two nights.

The room was great! We were upgraded to a beautiful Nile River view. The staff were very nice. The only minor issue was a brief power outage before check-out on our last day.

Location and price are its only two advantages. The environment and hygiene are really bad; showering is inconvenient, the water pressure is extremely low, hot water is intermittent, and while there is Wi-Fi, it's poor and connecting is a hassle.

Although we arrived earlier than the check-in time, we were shown to our room immediately. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We used towels and towels we brought with us, so we're not sure if there was body soap or a hairdryer.

It was nice to have a supermarket next to the hotel. It was far from the city center, so I had trouble exchanging money, but the hotel did it for me. However, the exchange rate was poor. I must say that the hotel is really clean and warm, and you can sit down and make breakfast for us even if you haven't had breakfast yet. If you ask the hotel manager, you can also take a "felucca" ride, which is about a 10-minute walk away. However, if you value facilities, I would recommend other hotels.

It is walking distance to the corniche with a carrefour market nearby. We stayed in transit on our way to luxor from cairo. It's extremely clean, well equipped. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was decent. Something that can be worked is the noise levels.

Comfortable hotel in central Minya The hotel rooms are very comfortable and the facilities in the room are excellent. My room has a Nile view and the hotel is one block from the corniche. I used the place as a base to visit El Amarna. Minya itself is not very attractive and the Akenhaten museum is still not open.
