There were many people, and we were the only Chinese guests here; everyone was a Russian VIP. We drank and sunbathed a lot. The environment was okay, and the snorkeling conditions seemed alright without comparison. Beach spots are limited, so you need to arrive early to secure a good spot. Some staff members were rude, and there was no hot water on our first night.

The hotel rooms were decent, and the overall environment was acceptable. However, the entire park was enormous, making getting around very inconvenient. Taxis couldn't get in; they were stuck at the main gate. The shuttle bus usually required a long wait. Also, the restaurants were truly awful; I almost ate my fill.

I liked the hotel. It feels a bit dated (especially the rooms), but overall, everything is fine. The reef is beautiful, and there's plenty of fish. The food was excellent; it was very varied, with meat and fish available daily to suit every taste. There were sometimes short lines at the restaurant, but they lasted no more than 10 minutes. Facilities: Relatively new, but the shower water was quite yellow when I used the included filter. Could it be the beach sand? Cleanliness: Not bad, no issues. Loved the hotel and facilities although I think one visit a week to one of the three restaurants is a bit tight. The beach is ok but you will need beach shoes. Great hotel complex, with impressive size, attractive architecture, clean pools, good food, drinks, friendly staff. The rooms are of a suitable size, well-equipped, and well-kept. My stay at the Jaz Makadi Oasis was absolutely wonderful! The resort is beautifully maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere immediately puts you in a holiday mood. The rooms are huge, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. The breakfast spread is excellent, and it's quite affordable. Using inDrive for taxis is super convenient for getting around anywhere. If you're not a stickler for details, it's a great hotel. But if you are, then Egypt itself might not be the right fit!

Great hotel in Luxor with beautiful views of the Nile. My room was very spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was quite good, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The facilities also appeared to be well maintained. Had a fantastic experience! Two days simply weren't enough, I'd say a minimum of three to five days is needed, and a full week would be perfect! Make sure to bring a snorkeling mask, the ocean here is stunning and incredibly picturesque, great for photos! Spent 11 nights here first trip to Egypt Hotel grounds and gardens are kept pristine the gardeners do an amazing job. We stayed here for 2 wks 11th November. It was lovely, great staff -even the security guard on the gate (normally a grumpy person) was smiley and chatty. Gardens beautiful and very well tended. The sea is deep and the waves are strong in the afternoon, making it dangerous. The beach is narrow and dangerous, but there are plenty of fish to see. The hotel is located in a remote area, and there aren't many things to do on site. It's a Western-only hotel. The hotel staff, though Egyptian, subtly discriminate against Asians. Lying by the sea was truly comfortable. I didn't pay attention to the location when booking the hotel, and it's quite far from the city center. Next time, I'll probably consider staying in the city.

The room was much bigger than I expected, but not as aesthetically pleasing, probably due to the flooring and wallpaper, which gave it a bit of a rustic, country house vibe. Everything is good. When you stay, you need to tell the front desk that you need to eat at the seaside restaurant, otherwise you can't get in without a purple wristband! The food there is the best!

Excellent Resort , Cleanliness, and Friendly People here

Sataya was one of the best places we have experienced in Egypt. The only negatives were: Wheels on bed didn't lock Sales people had to be told multiple times daily,"when we want you we will find you, until then no thank you!" Otherwise we greatly enjoyed our trip and hope to return someday.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with vast, clean, and interesting grounds. There are interesting evening programs, good cuisine, a wide variety of food, and delicious fish (I can't comment on the meat, as I don't eat meat, but it looked amazing). The whole resort was spotless. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Happened to witness a lifeguard in action and I was blown away by his speedy reaction. All food in the restaurants and pastries in the bars were of high quality and very fresh. The room was very comfortable and clean.

We had a great time in Sataya Resort. Good food choice, plenty of space around pool areas. Room was clean and comfortable but I bit dated. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel grounds, rooms and pools are amazing, the food is lovely and plenty of choices..We all enjoyed the aqua park and the lazy river a lot.. The downside to this hotel is the sea, it has to be the worst i have been to in all of marsa alam and i have stayed in about 12 different hotels in Marsa, The only way to swim is off the Jetty and the coral you get to go snorkelling around is only small....

The only thing that lets the hotel down is their facilities which are very old and dirty, the bathroom’s need a massive upgrade. ESP the bathtubs

We booked this hotel on its 5* rating, to be honest it’s not 5*, we have stayed in many 5* hotels in many countries, this hotel needs updating, the staff from reception to restaurant doesn’t know how to welcome guests, like they don’t care, just come and go… food standards are of 3* , no fresh juice, daily 90% same stuff, swimming pool is nice, beach is clean but of3/4 *rooms are reasonable and good...

The hotel is old, but good value for money, an economical choice. The sea was wavy. The reception staff were excellent, and the cleaning staff were superb. My 'average' rating for cleanliness is mostly due to the general areas; the tables by the pool weren't very clean. Perhaps they're understaffed because it's winter, I don't know. There is a mountain side and a beach side. So only good views at the Beach side of the resort. Mountain side you have to cross the road. Hotel location is ok, but the flooring and room interiors are pretty old (but everything is functional and working so ok)
