The price almost meets the expectations, but overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location of the hostel is one of the few good things about it — shops, cafés, and the city center are all within walking distance. The breakfast was alright, a standard offer with a few options; nothing fancy but good enough.
Unfortunately, there were insects (bed bugs) in the first room, which made the stay disappointing and stressful, even afterwards. Luckily the staff was understanding and managed to offer another room.
The overall condition of the rooms was not the best either — ventilation was poor, everything felt old, and some renovations would be very useful to freshen up the place.

The location is good—a 10-minute walk to the city center. The airport is about a 10-minute taxi ride away. There's a 24-hour front desk. However, luggage storage in metal lockers near the reception desk is a paid option: 1-2 euros is inexpensive, but a rather odd option. The hotel has minimal amenities. Overall, it's okay for one night.

The bathroom and actually the whole room smells by mould, because there is no window, no ventilation, no single option to air the room. If you let your door opened to the corridor, hotel staff is very rude for no reason. Maybe they want to transform the room to piece of camembert.
Rooms are clean on the first sight, but don't look behind furniture, you won't find nice things.
Breakfast is included, but it's pretty basic. Also the canteen is really small, it was difficult to find a table.
The only good thing is location in the center.

Definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was awful, with almost no choice and everything tasting cheap and low-quality. The beds were old spring mattresses, incredibly uncomfortable, and impossible to sleep on, anyone with back pain should absolutely avoid this place. The bathroom was very old, ugly, and badly in need of renovation. The room was also disappointing: outdated furniture and a general feeling of neglect that made it unpleasant to stay in.

To make things worse, the receptionist who checked me in was extremely rude. I spoke to him in Estonian, but he refused to answer me in Estonian and only responded in English, in a dismissive and unhelpful way.

Wrong photo! The hotel is not Kadriorg Palace! Breakfast is NOT delicious! E.g The bread is semi dry, no toaster available. One kind of cheese, one kind of cheap meat, cold boiled eggs, margerine in stead of butter, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, apples, pears and pieces of banana! 3 hot items, I saw potatoes, baked beens and some stew /vegetables or sauce....A few cereals and 2 kinds of jam. 2 kinds of sugarfree squash. The only nice item is the porridge! It seems that all food items are the cheapest available of their kind! Yes, it is a budget hotel, but 10-20 € more per week could definitely give a much better breakfast! In my bathroom (416)the sink is too big,one could hardly squeeze on to the toilet because the sink is hanging partly over the toilet! A fat person would not be able to use the toilet! Why on earth do you not change the sink for a smaller one ? No need for a big sink! Only one towel is provided, not very good for hygiene to use it for both face and bottom! An extra costs 2 €! No cleaning during the week, but sheets and towels were changed on day 3 and bins emptied.I would have preferred a clean bathroom to clean sheets! I could choose between having the TV OR the fridge plugged in, no room for both.... It is not possible to open the window to get some fresh air, one has to live with the automatic ventilation. Many channels on the TV but only CNN and Cartoon Networks in English as far as I could see!

Unfortunately, our 3-night stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The only positive aspect was its convenient and central location.

The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat and lacked support, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. There were no bath towels provided in the room, which was very inconvenient. Additionally, the bathroom layout caused water to spill all over the floor after showering, leaving the space wet and uncomfortable to use.

Overall, we expected a higher level of comfort and basic amenities. Sadly, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. One needs to remember that the prices in this hotel are much lower than any other hotel that one would actually want to stay at in Tallinn, and thus one should not expect the Ritz, particularly as it appears to be a fairly basic conversion of an office block. On the plus side the Center Hotel is clean, and is in a reasonably good location, half way between the City centre and Kadriorg Park, and a short walk from the port. Furthermore it is easily accessible by public transport, with a good tram service running right past the door. It is also close to Tallinn's main market - an interesting place. Breakfast was good value for money, and offered different options, although of mediocre quality, for example the "fruit juice" at breakfast is just fruit squash, and very watery fruit squash at that. Being on tight budget, we booked rooms without bathrooms, what was a surprise was to find that the entire six storey building has only has two toilets and two showers - having to wait cross-legged waiting for two hours for the toilet to become free one evening was not fun! People smoke in the toilets, in which the extractor fans do not work - thick permeating fumes from "funny cigarettes" are not pleasant. Even on the sixth floor the rooms are noisy. The bedding is thin and uncomfortable. The rooms are very basic and uninviting, and have no TVs, although the hotel's free wi-fi is good. I was expecting most of these issues after reading the other reviews before I booked our rooms - it is a cheap hotel after all. The reception staff are somewhat variable: the lady in reception on check in was very helpful, and pleasant - I presume that she was the one with whom I exchanged helpful, efficient and courteous emails after booking; however, I would not say the same for all of her colleagues.

Not a good service. You have to clean dishes after the breakfast. Only our room was quite clean, but old, without soups for hands or anything else. We had to pay €218 for one night, but the reasonable price would be ~€40.

Short stay in Tallinn
The receptionist who checked me in seemed burnt out. Half way during check-in her shift was changed and it took me 40-45 mins for me to get checked in. Communication was not clear which resulted to a significant delay. The room came with charging ports near the bed. Towels were provided. Only a shower gel was provided. The room excluded travel toothbrushes, slippers, etc. Room was well ventilated from any noise. Reception was 24hrs from my understanding which made the check-in and check-out process possible at later times and earlier times. Overall decent experience, but there can be improvements to the check-in process.

The reality is, I paid about £20 and had a room, a shower, free wifi, and a decent location. I can't really complain on that basis but one could spend another £10-20 and easily find somewhere more comfortable. This seems to be an old Soviet-era block and has paper-thin walls as a result (I was on the 5th floor but could hear the traffic and other noise as though I was on the ground floor with an open window). The bed is fine but they give you one flimsy pillow and only one towel (no bath mat, no hand towel). My room wasn't that clean (the floor especially) and the bathroom stank in the morning (before I used it, thank you very much!). My brief interactions with the staff were pleasant.
