Hotel Joséphine by HappyCulture in Paris

We def did not have a 4star hotel experience. We waited for more than an hour and managed to check-in at a little past 4pm because the room wasn't ready still. The lady who I supposed is the manager came to apologise and offered us late checkout which we appreciated. While we were waiting, that's the only time we were offered coffee, tea etc. The staff need better hospitality training I reckon. What icked me the most is the housekeeping: had to ask for tissues cause on the first day, tissues weren't replenished. I can feel grainy like sand on the floor. Even towels, on our third day, one missing set of towels. The room was also not soundproof. Oh dear. I had to shush the people from outside to get a decent sleep. Bed wasn't too comfortable either. I would appreciate complimentary water, but this hotel doesn't provide that. And this is supposed to be "4 star". The room was also not that spacious and pretty dark. Location was alright. A bit of a walk to decent cafes and grocery stores. The asian receptionist was the only one who knows how to cater for guests. People, go somewhere to spend your hard earned money. This is not worth it
