We loved it! Small, beautifully furnished hotel, 200m from the Moulin Rouge in Montmartre. Quiet, with lovely staff and really good service. Food and drinks were superb. Nice little spa with pool and steam room which you book up for your own private use.
Montmartre is a great little 'villagey' area to stay in and Maison Souquet is a superb hotel in it.

An exceptional hotel in every way.
The location is perfect, the staff are amazing and genuinely helpful, and the atmosphere is truly unmatched.
Beautiful ambiance throughout and a great spa that made the stay even more special.
I honestly believe this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Paris. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. Maison Souquet is a truly personal hôtel which offers guests a feeling of intimacy whilst respecting privacy. Our bedroom was sumptous and elegant, the reception areas reflect the ambiance, romance and style of the belle epoch, the staff are very attentive, and the atmosphere one of seductive luxury. The opportunity for each couple to use the spa & pool in private enhanced our stay. Thankyou so much for making our stay so memorable.

Amazing evening spent playing backgammon and drinking cocktails at that place!

The staff is so prompt, the flavors are amazing, the ambiance really relaxing. I love the smell the of the place. We were done with a project. And it was a great way to relax !

Thank you

Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. The rooms were beautiful, the food and drinks were excellent, and the history of the building itself is incredibly interesting. The service was impeccable, and it is very clear that the owner puts so much care and attention in every detail- everything has a personal touch coupled with elegance and style. Highly highly recommend this hotel, my favourite place to stay in Paris. I also highly recommend the bar too, set in a gorgeous room. I will definitely be back for a drink with some friends too.

l to the point that it is a total ripoff and definitely not deserving of top luxury reviews. First of all, the place is filthy. See pictures. Carpet throughout is disgusting and rooms have not been properly clean. The dim lighting makes it hard to nice at first that you’re surrounded by filth. When we called down to complain about the cobwebs and films of dust everywhere, we didn’t even get so much as an apology. They just said “that happens sometimes, we will tell the maid to clean tomorrow.” The staff is also totally just phoning it in. They could care less about you, and are not polite or hospitable. And it’s all just strange. At one point the tiny silent lobby was filled with a delivery man hanging out on the sofa and a painter who was repairing the spa (which is looking sad too) was eating his lunch while blasting TikTok with no earbuds. It felt like the waiting room of the DMV. Management here has clearly stopped trying or caring years ago. Don’t waste your money! At this price point there are so many wonderful 5 star boutique hotels to experience in Paris. Anything more than $250 a night here would be too much, given the filthy rooms, shabby interiors, and bad service

We extended our stay by one day and were looking for a hotel in the Montmartre area. Maison Souquet was on our list, so we decided on a spontaneous stay here. Angélique was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. She even upgraded us to a bigger room. The rooms all have a story to tell, and the building is full of history. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

It has a very charming atmosphere, instantly transporting you to the romance of the 18th century. The location is excellent, very convenient for walking around Montmartre, and it's right across from the Moulin Rouge. The decor is very distinctive and memorable.

If you enjoy craft cocktails, phenomenal service, and a romantic luxury getaway, then this is the place for you. Highly recommended for couples and those interested in historical, belle epoque boutique hotels.

If Paris is the city of romance, then Maison Souquet is its sultry little love letter. I stayed here in July and, honestly, I’m still not over it. This isn’t just a hotel – it’s like stepping into a decadent Parisian dream with a fascinating backstory you can almost feel in the velvet-lined walls. Think: moody lighting, rich fabrics, and that “I’ve stumbled onto a secret” kind of vibe. It’s bougie without being pretentious, and every corner feels like it’s whispering stories from another era. The staff? Impeccable. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating – the kind of people who somehow make you feel like the only guest in the building. My room wasn’t enormous, but it had everything I needed, dressed to perfection in Maison Souquet’s signature style. The location is spot on – just steps from the Moulin Rouge, but tucked far enough away from anything questionable. You’re right in the middle of fabulous restaurants, cosy wine bars, and the kind of cafés where time slows down over a glass of Sancerre. Would I go back? Absolutely. In fact, I’m already plotting my return. Maison Souquet isn’t just somewhere to sleep – it’s somewhere to savour. My only tiny wish was that the hotel had a gym but hey ho
