Hotel Media in Paris

Horrible!
We wanted to spend a nice weekend while working in remote. Ended up super frustrated.

Very rude receptionist (man). He literally orders you to give your keys when simply going out, in a very rude way, with no explanations. No official rules written anywhere, or oral explanations given when asked gently. You're just ordered "give your keys".

Uncomfortable pillows.
Suspicious hygiene (ground, drawers).

No "don't disturb" available for the door. Staff knocked way too many times at 3pm when I already told "no thanks", I was busy in a videocall working in remote...that was really bothering.

Too expensive for everything.
How come Taxe de Séjour is that expensive...

Don't waste your money, time, and social meter there.

worst hotel ever! I informed them i have a disability and they didn't offer me any solution so i couldn't get to the hotel, and when i tried to ask for a refund they treat me with passive aggressive and they literally said: it's not my problem you have a disability and im not gonna give you any money, and they hung up. On the other hand, the doors don't look and it's full of mold and dirtiness, please don't go there, the staff are awful and very rude and the whole building is very dirty.

This place is an outright scam. I reserved a room for 180 euros per night. What I got? Military bed, torn bedsheets, dirty towels with stains and hair, no AC, destroyed floor, dirty furniture and everything. The receptionist doesn't speak English. I also noticed small stains on the bedsheets, signalling there was a bedbug infestation.

But the funniest part was that every 5 meters they remind you that they're not responsible for your valuables, next to it, you have the police phone number 😂 cherry on top, there's no safebox in the room, and everytime you go out you have to hand over your keys.

The place was so weird that I just ran away. I didn't even mind to checkout. I just packed my stuff and followed the cancelation process online, because I didn't feel safe at all.

Don't go there. Save your brain and your money.

I booked and fully paid for my hotel stay through Booking for three nights. A few days before my arrival, I decided to add one more night. For some reason, the payment for the extra night didn’t go through, and the hotel automatically canceled my entire reservation, including the nights I had already paid for.

They sent me an email about this cancellation only two days before my check-in, which I didn’t see in time. When I arrived, I found out that my booking was gone, and my money was not refunded.

I contacted Booking support, but they said the hotel refused to issue a refund. This is completely unacceptable! I never canceled the booking myself—it was removed due to a payment issue with the extra night, yet the hotel kept the full amount.

Extremely disappointing experience. Be careful when booking here!

We found blood stains in the mattress of the supletory bed. There was a party in the building opposite the hotel and couldn't sleep at all, because of the timber windows. The rooms has nothing to do with what they advertise, very very old rooms. Never again...
